Holiday rentals in Landsmeer

Great welcome, very nice hosts. The house was exactly as described. It's in a peaceful neighborhood. I recommend for a pleasant stay in Amsterdam.

Ramona and Daan were amazing and very generous hosts. Even though we didn't get to meet them on this trip, they were very responsive to our questions and made sure a friend was at the house when we arrived to hand us the keys and give us a tour of the house. The house is much larger than it appears in the photos and the layout worked for us as a family of 3. They had plenty of toys to keep our 5 year old entertained. The neighborhood is outside Amsterdam central on the north side of the IJ. We biked to the free ferry within 10 mins. The neighborhood is also great for a family traveling with kids, as there are several playgrounds within walking distance. I'd recommend staying at Ramona and Daan's place and would definitely stay there again.

The accommodation is practical and very well equipped. The village is an amazing place to live, with a perfect balance between nature and services (15’ by bike from Amsterdam). The natural area “Het Twiske” is at a walking distance from the accommodation. It is a perfect place for enjoyable bike rides, hiking or bathing in the lakes. It has several playgrounds. The accommodation is ideally situated to discover not only the city of Amsterdam but also many other destinations, such as beautiful sand dunes along the shore (e.g., Zandwoort, Castricum), nice villages (e.g., Marken), the historical town of Haarlem, and many more. Barbara has been very helpful before, during and at the end of the stay. In over ten years of experience on AirBNB, this place is probably the best booking we ever made, both for the accommodation and for the surroundings.

Roel has a beautiful home! We stayed as a family of four with two young children at the house and it was perfect! The kids bedrooms were wonderful, the house was beautiful and very clean. It’s in a beautiful location, only a 10 minute bike ride to the ferry which takes you for free in to central Amsterdam. We loved staying here and hope to stay here again in future years. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house!

It was a great stay. The house was nice and large enough. We had a rental car so we were fine but I think without a car the commute to city center would be a bit difficult. Other than that everything was great and Lisette was a great host.

Staying at Daan’s place was a lovely experience. Everything was as expected and the neighbourhood of the house is lovely. We ran into some small issues, but Daan’s responsiveness and ability to make things right made us instantly forget about them! I cannot recommend him as a host enough, and I’m sure he is a great guest too. Let’s not forget about his WONDERFUL cat! Thank you Daan!

tl;dr: the best airbnb place I've ever been to I've been to airbnb places in many countries but this place is a true gem. Spacious and modern house with a great design. Neighbourhood is very quiet and relaxed - nothing in common with central Amsterdam. Lots of space to chill in the AMAZING GARDEN with a fantastic views of a farm field with lots of cows, sheeps and wild birds! Mirjam is a kind person, easy to communicate with. Will be happy to stay again!

In photos, the house already looks nice, but in real life it is even nicer. A cozy atmosphere that is warm and welcoming with so many nice stuff that you want to stay. Daniel's personality is in her house: warm, welcoming, full of love also for her children. She always responded quickly and also checked with us herself if everything was okay and to offer help. We really felt at home there. Thank you for the nice experience. We enjoyed Amsterdam but also your home.
