Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lapeer County

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

Alex was so amazing! I had a house fire AND had my car stolen in the same week...he was so accommodating and willing to work with me on just about everything. I stayed here for a couple weeks and would go back 100%!

The house is roomy, clean, and located in a quiet safe neighborhood. The backyard is lovely for sitting and observing the birds, squirrels, deer. We had lots of local activities so didn’t get to spend as much time in the house as usual. Our host was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay! Our host was wonderful, very flexible. They had our driveway shoveled first thing in the morning after an overnight snowfall! The home was cozy and inviting, conveniently located and clean, with many nice extra touches and thoughtful amenities. This was our first visit, but it won't be our last!

We needed a place near Utica for 6 adults and 2 babies and this was perfect! There was ample space, a fantastic kitchen, and a great layout of bedrooms and bathrooms. Would definitely come back here if we need a similar space for a future family get together!

The perfect place for a girl’s weekend! The house was so cute, the kitchen had all the appliances we needed plus complimentary coffee and breakfast, the sectional was super comfortable and so were the beds. We would definitely come here again.

The house was warm and quiet. It was close to things we were visiting for. There were enough dishes and the coffee cups were very cute. The house was a good value for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. The house was pet friendly and the host left treats, towels, and pet waste bags for the dogs. We would stay here again.

The apartment was a great value – clean, modern, and comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet, even within an apartment building. The check-in process could have been smoother, and the kitchen amenities were a bit sparse (no toaster, for example), but overall, it was a solid stay and met our needs.

I really enjoyed my stay at the house, it was in a perfect location for me, super easy to find, and simple easy check in and check out, Mateos's was always available if needed and always very responsive to any messages or communication we had during my stay, he was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly stay again if I'm back in the area and the home is available, especially in the summer with the home having a pool, it is winter now and the home was great it would be over the top with the pool in the summer, a great place to stay!

This place was suggested to my husband and I after we booked another place with Josh. He mentioned his nephew being in town and wanted it to be quiet for us so we stayed here instead. Definitely did not disappoint! Plenty of room for us and our 2 dogs. There was a huge basement for them to run around in and for us to sit and watch tv if we wanted to. The kitchen and living room was open and spacious. The living room tv and electric fireplace were great and we had no issues using them. We only used one bedroom but it was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of extra bedroom and bathroom linen. Josh even suggested places to visit in the area since this wasn’t the original place we had booked. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed at his alternate place to stay in order to have a little more peaceful weekend that was kid free. We will be sure to book him/his alternate properties in the future if we’re ever in the area.

Beautiful clean home, beautiful yard and pool. Very spacious, fit our family of 6 very well, plenty of room. This is our 4th time renting from Colleen. Twice here and twice at the lake house. We will definitely rent from her again. She has beautiful homes. Thank you Colleen!

Hey thanks very much Kyle, sorry for the late review, it was a great stay, nice locality with a great river trail nearby, has quite a few stores and a shopping plaza nearby with walmart, Panera bread and other eateries. A convenient stay with neatly maintained apartment. I would highly recommend the place and Kyle is an amazing host. He helped me with a few requests and was always responsive. Thanks very much for hosting us. Looking forward to visit soon. :)

My family had a great stay at Melyzza’s place. It’s a very spacious multi-level open plan home which we found to be very comfortable. A cozy living room/media area and an additional flexible use space (exercise, lounging) area added to everyone being comfortable. I give Melyzza’s place very high grades for the open floor plan, comfortable bedding including a very roomy master bedroom. Being close to a variety of restaurants and shopping definitely added to an enjoyable stay. Melyzza was a great host. Responded promptly to a booking jam we were in and took care of us in a first class manner throughout our stay. I highly recommend Melyzza’s place!

We enjoyed the living room area and having plenty room to hang out together in addition to the 1/2 bath located on the first floor. Complex was quiet. We would definitely stay here again when we come visit our son for a weekend. The house fit 5 of us comfortably and we enjoyed hanging out and not being cramped in hotel rooms. We made appetizers for dinner one night and the kitchen had what we needed.

Perfect place for a family getaway. The kids enjoyed swimming and playing board games.

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

This was our third stay at Kristine's place and will very likely not be our last. Kristine's place provides a relaxing getaway with unique charm and we enjoy every stay. Kristine provides all the amenities to make you feel right at home making this the perfect place for a low-key stay-cation in the winter. By far one of our favorite places to stay. Thank you again for opening your place for us to enjoy! 12/10 recommend!

We're frequent Airbnb users, & Denise's Lodge is now our favorite. The driveway is generously wide. Pictures posted don't do the cottage justice. It's super clean & cozy. There are lots of thick towels, great views of the lake which is steps from the cottage, an ambient electric fireplace, higher end living room furniture, well-supplied kitchen, and comfy beds. Denise furnished dog bowl & waste bags, and there were even welcoming treats for our dog, as well as for us. The assortment of snacks, candies, hot chocolate & coffee packets, and coffee creamers was highly unusual and very impressive. The lodge's black bear decor reminds you that you're in someone else's abode, but at the same time, there's an undeniable feeling of a homey comfort. Communication was great. The only downside is the dirt road leading from the highway to the lodge, which is narrow & has lots of pot holes. Being Michigan-born, I know why there's a reason why Hershey's makes a "Michigan pothole" ice-cream:)

Tiffany was an ideal host. She gave clear instructions and was very responsive. The place was actually nicer than it appeared in pictures. The gas station across the street was perfect for grabbing something quick to drink or ice for our ice chest when leaving. We really enjoyed our stay, the cute town the home was in and how easy it was to get to all the towns we wanted to visit.

Cool house! Loved the art room. Wish we could have stayed longer!
