Family-friendly holiday rentals in Launiupoko

The place is wonderful and fully stocked with things needed for cooking. We whale watched from patio and pool area. The beach is all rock and no swimming there. You are on a busy road slow speed limits but may be unsafe for families with kids. We walked some but did get ubers and lyft mostly. Don’t rent a car as very expensive.

The location was good for us with easy access to the beach and other island sites. House is well stocked with kitchen accessories, beach going toys, towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Owners were responsive and communicated well. House was spacious and met our needs.

We loved it, and feel it was accurately portrayed. Our only big issue was made by God, but should have been noted either insight or in the arrival information. We experienced a high winds, flash flood filled night, which filled our rental with water and mud, and the entire area with inches and feet in some places of mud. Here is why it should noted: Two separate tenants told us they had lost 3 cars from this happening. That is 6 cars. And the Fast Towing driver said yep, they get hit every time. Had I known in advance it was a possibility, I would have parked somewhere not in harms way. The reason for all the mud is the construction directly behind the Kihei Bay Vista area, which is only in the acres of dirt phase. That’s why we were hit so hard. And all the mud was deposited. The residents were all so quick to start shoveling walkways for everyone. And you could tell why it is suck a beautiful place, they care and take pride in everything. The pool pictures don’t do it justice!

Heather’s condo was a great place for the family to stay at. It was close to the beach and shopping area. When I had to get a hold of Heather to answer a question for me she was very responsive and everything was taken care of. Will definitely visit again!

We had a great stay at Kihei Bay Surf. We were right across the street from the beach, but when it got too windy, we also had pool access which was very nice. The road was a bit busy, but ultimately not too bad. For those guests that like to cook from their stays (like we do) we found the kitchen well equipped, though you may want to plan ahead regarding seasonings and condiments, etc. There are also a lot of great restaurants nearby (Karen's recommendations were all excellent!) This lovely condo was just as described. Quiet, clean, spacious, with all of the amenities. Beds were comfy, shower was great, and Tamsen supplied all of the beach toys we needed... chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. We were across the street from beach and sunsets. And next door to many delicious restaurants. We'd definitely stay again!

My husband and I had a positive experience staying at this condo. Communication with the hosts was excellent—they were attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. While we did encounter a mix-up at check-in, as the condo was still being cleaned when we arrived, the hosts handled the situation with professionalism and kindness. Once the condo was ready, it was spotless, cozy, and perfect for our needs. Our baby, who had been cranky after the flight, settled down and slept all night, and we all enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Despite the initial hiccup, the experience was great, thanks to the hosts’ dedication to ensuring we had a pleasant visit. We would happily recommend this Airbnb and would stay here again!

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 week stay at Ken’s unit. The location was ideal - close to beaches, shops and restaurants. The unit was fabulous - the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and more, 3 full bathrooms was a huge bonus and the views were amazing. Every evening we sat on the lanai and watched the beautiful sunsets. Ken and his team on Maui were extremely helpful, friendly and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend Ken’s place and would definitely return. Loved it!!!!!

Mark's description of the place was exactly as delivered. Its a self service property, a wonderful one! We had the privacy we needed with our little one and Mark was available to answer any questions or help with anything we needed throughout our stay. We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The location was absolutely perfect – it was close to so many great places, making it super convenient for exploring the area. We were within walking distance of fantastic coffee shops, and there were plenty of beautiful hikes nearby, which was such a great bonus. The space itself was peaceful and quiet, offering a relaxing retreat after a day of adventure. Our host was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They gave us some wonderful recommendations for local spots to check out, which made our trip even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Turtle House. Poni was wonderful, location made us feel like we were locals. Beaches were amazing, so many fun restaurants to choose from. Her guide book was second to none, recommendations were spot on. We will definitely stay here again.

Mrs. Barbara was very good at giving us her time every time we had a question about something regarding the condominium. The truth is that my family's stay there was very pleasant. Thanks to her being very kind the whole time. This is something very important that I want to mention. I had to return the unit at 11am, but our flight was not until 4:30 and she allowed us to leave our luggage there for a few more hours. I really appreciate this because our luggage was safe the whole time we were gone.

Gal's place was amazing! It was in the heart of Kihei and very accessible location. The villa was beautiful, clean and had all the amenities. The common swimming pool and area was beautiful. Gal and his team were always very responsive and friendly. Our flight back home was until later in the evening, and they were very accommodating in allowing us a late checkout. Would highly recommend this Airbnb to others.

Perfect location, just a short walk to the beach and quick drives to great restaurants. Yvonne and William were incredibly welcoming and made our stay even more enjoyable. The condo was spotless and had all the amenities and utensils we needed. The balcony views were absolutely stunning!

Exactly as pictured and described. Perfect location, with short walk to the beach, walking distance from shops and restaurants, and fully stocked. Beach closet had everything we needed and more: beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, pails and shovels for sand castles and even water shoes. Kitchen was nicely stocked with pots, dishes, cups, and lots of plastic containers for food storage. We had a great visit!

This place was perfect for our families to enjoy our time together. Spacious and especially enjoyed the patio table for our meals outdoors. Bedrooms were also spacious and offered private quiet time. Kids loved the pool!! Our only regret was not staying longer.
