Nick's place is very beautiful and cozy. Very clean and organized. Nick was also very pleasant to communicate with and quick to respond. We would definitely be staying there again when working in the area. 100% recommend.

Wonderful spot to stay for a snowmobiling getaway. Trail right from the cabin to get onto the main trail. Very clean and all the necessities!

Above and beyond our expectations! The kids loved playing in the loft and the massive beam bag was a crowd favourite. Kitchen table sat everyone comfortably and perfect for all the hours of board games played. TV area in the basement was perfect to watch the hockey games and extra bar fridge handy for our drinks. Kitchen had everything you needed including compost and recycling bins. Beds were extremely comfortable and family room very capacious and cozy. My family has rented many cottages before and this ranks as our favourite, we will be back next year.

This was my second stay at this location, and again it did not disappoint. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful with the small touches, and in our case this time they braved a true blizzard to ensure the Valentine's hot tub was available. The location is perfect. The view is perfect. It's a cozy place in the winter (I've been both times in the winter), but I can tell it would be and incredible summer stay.

What a great & beautiful place!!! It accommodated our family perfect, and this house was perfect. Kendra was amazing to deal with and is so nice & polite. The house was very clean and Kenras team even went above and beyond with decorating the house to welcome us. The kitchen had everything you need and overall, the place was such a great place to stay. We could only imagine what this house is like in the summer! Thank you for allowing us to stay here, Kendra! We will be back one day.

I would come back here with friends and family for a getaway or special celebration any day! They know what you want to have fun and relax, and the set up makes it easy to slip right into vaycay mode - with a view to boot! But that sandy walk out to the river with the bright view from inside - beautiful. Thank you!

Spacious bottom suite, ideal for a family. The host was extremely nice and helpful. The backyard was absolutely beautiful where we enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. Would definitely stay again when visiting Calabogie.

Exactly as describe! If you want a relaxing getaway that’s close to local trails and Algonquin this is a great middle ground. Felt right at home and would 100% recommend for those looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature.

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! This was our 4th time coming back, and it never disappoints. The snowshoe trails are fantastic, offering great adventures right outside the door. We especially enjoyed the outdoor winter fires – a perfect way to unwind after a day in the snow. The cabin itself is so warm and inviting, truly the ideal spot for a cozy winter getaway. Tammy and Donna are such wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait for our next visit!

As described, it is a lovely cabin. We had a very cozy weekend. Marilyn and Svinda made sure that we have enough firewood and the fireplace made it so warm inside that we almost forgot it was -20 C outside! :) Marilyn and Svinda were super nice, kind, and helpful. We were introduced to their two mini donkeys and we could even take a lovely walk with them! There were also three outdoor gorgeous cats, good news for cat-lovers. Highly recommend this place!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

This was our third time staying at the Dream Cabin and each time is better than the last. Roman and Irina are the ideal hosts with their quick response times, easy check-in instructions, lovely hospitality and overall friendly people who never hesitate to answer questions or assist in any way. It’s truly a place of paradise and we will be revisiting for many more years to come. Thanks Roman and Irina!!

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

I have only the best things to say about my stay at one of Taylor and Pierre's cabins. The location is stunningly beautiful and the cabins and grounds are even nicer than they appear in the pictures. The addition of the free to use kayaks and canoes, plus the large, communal kitchen made for a wonderful stay. Even the campers that I met there only had great things to say! Taylor and Pierre themselves are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make sure that your stay is memorable, peaceful, and effortless. Additionally, Pierre gave great local advice about where to go and what to see and do as well as insight into small things like the most affordable gas stations in the area. Again. Cannot say enough great things. 5/5 and I will definitely be staying with them again
