We really enjoyed our stay at Laurens Castle. The apartment is even better than what the listing shows. It's spacious, clean, and with wonderful views of the surrounding hills and meadows. The pool is well maintained and helps to get through the hot days of August better. The Cantal region has loved us and is ideal if you are looking to relax, bathe in beautiful lakes and walk through the forests and mountains around the Puy Mary. Thank you very much to Laurens and his beautiful family for their hospitality and kindness. We hope to return in the future.

The cottage has been tastefully renovated. It is warm, quiet and very pleasant. The view is beautiful and the location is perfect for walking in the forest. Chantal's welcome was warm and Élodie's instructions very precise. I recharged my batteries. Thanks again

We did not meet Rachel and Christophe personally but their availability, their kindness on the phone, pleasantly surprised us. The place is magical, the view is breathtaking, as well as the peace and quiet. Couldn't have been a better place to celebrate the new year! We were delighted and fell in love with this heavenly place. Although the path to access is original, you have to deserve to see this view... that really, I would recommend it! The accommodation was cozy, very charming and pleasant. We were 4 with 3 dogs and we did not have despite the space, the effect of being on top of each other. Thank you again!

We had a very pleasant week, both to rest and to discover this very beautiful region and go hiking. This old barn, in the heart of nature, refurbished with great originality and practicality, offers relaxation and dining areas in different places, inside, on the terrace and in the garden. Not to mention the beautiful views and sunsets... A big thank you to Charel for sharing this amazing place!

Honestly nothing to say all is superb, Sylvie is adorable and great advice. The accommodation is well placed all is possible on foot from the small lunch to the meal until the exit. It's well laid out, the view is pretty good on the river. I recommend 100% frankly it was just perfect!

The location is great, whether for relaxing or exploring the surrounding area. We were only 20 minutes from the super Besse ski resort. Gijs and Linda welcomed us warmly and advised us throughout the week. They are next door, accommodating, available, but not intrusive. The cottage is almost new. Their restaurant is also worth exploring. Convenient because on the premises. The place is quiet and close to Puy Mary, Puy Violent, and quite a few other sites within an hour. The village in Saint Cernin is also remarkable for the welcome of merchants: grocery store, bars, pharmacy, bakery, butcher shop ... everything is there and accessible immediately on foot. They have a lot to know how to live. It's very relaxing.
