Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Les Avanchers-Valmorel

We arrived and left late. The host was very accommodating about it. The TV was a good size and had Netflix. We only stayed 2 nights and only ate in restaurants. The kitchen looked clean and properly equipped even though we didn't use it. They want you to take out the trash and remove the linens. I find that a bit annoying since you also pay a cleaning fee, but those are their rules and they're not completely unreasonable. The bike path is easily accessible which was important to us.

A beautiful, large family house with a large and fully furnished kitchen. Barely a living room (approx. 3×3 meters, next to the front door), so limited seating comfort. 7 bedrooms including 4 with a double bed (140 cm wide) and 3 with 2x single bed. Terrace next to the front door and a large terrace next to the house, both sunny. No garden (should you bring your dog, pay close attention). On the ground floor and in the attic a bathroom, toilets on all floors. The house is some distance away on a main road (gives some noise), near the center of Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe; you can go buy walking bread or eat out in one of the restaurants. Beautiful surroundings with mountains (Mont Charvin and views of Mont Blanc on several walks), swimming lake in Flumet, variety of lifts that are open. 1.15 hours drive to Annecy train station, approx. 45 minutes drive to Albertville. WiFi available. No washing machine (laundry nearby), no TV. Very friendly, helpful hostess!

We had a great welcome from Cathy, in addition to the visit, tips and tricks for visiting the area and cool comforts awaited us (thank you also for the jam). Her house is a cocoon that invites you to travel (better than in the photos). Everything necessary is present. And very well located for visiting Annecy (free shuttle in summer) and Lac du Bourget. We recommend this address.

We had a great time at Élodie's cottage. This one is ideally located in a very quiet environment and at the same time close to small local shops. We were able to do many hikes in the area by driving a little. The cottage is very well equipped and we did not lack for anything. The different terraces allow you to enjoy the beautiful setting depending on the day. If we had to suggest one thing for improvement for some guests, it would be a slightly larger bed. Having a slightly wide size, the 140 bed was a bit narrow for me.

Beautiful family home in Aix with beautiful garden and trampoline (ideal for children). Everything went well! We enjoyed meeting in a house inhabited all year round (small treasure everywhere: board games...)

Very nice accommodation, ideal for 3/4 people, ski in/ski out, the residence has a small shopping mall, Galerie de la Croisette easily accessible. David is always available to answer our questions. I recommend it!

Very comfortable apartment, home from home. Went just before season started so buses not running as frequently and the Morel lift was closed. But great apartment for myself to have a break and continue working. Thank you!

Catherine's apartment is even better than in the photos, it has been renovated at floor level, an extra sofa, bedside tables…. Pleasant bedding with several pillows, board games, CD and player, connected TV, book in English, sleds. The apartment is very well located 1 minute from the Spar store, but I advise you to do your shopping before in Moûtiers, same for the dairy cooperative the prices are more affordable in Moûtiers. A 2-minute walk to ESF classes, 3 minutes to ski lifts. Lots of restaurants, sports shops nearby. However, there is no electrical outlet in the bathroom , provide an extension cord. We'll be back with pleasure at Catherine's place if we have a chance. Thanks!

Fantastic gem steps away from Meribel central area. Possible to ski down to lifts just a few steps from the house. Apartment is more spacious than it looks in pictures. We will definitely be back when coming to the area next time!

Gael and Esther are very friendly and responsive hosts. We truly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back. Quick drive to Le Praz in the morning which is a great starting point to explore the resort. The apartment is well equipped and cozy, with a wonderful fireplace in the living room.

Cozy apartment, well decorated , very clean and very pleasant by its sunny location. Easy access for check-in and check-out. Everything you need is available in the apartment. We had a great stay, everything is nearby on foot or by shuttle, the small village of Praz sur Arly is nice with various shops as well as the ski slopes located 5 minutes walk from the apartment . Laetitia is a friendly host and responsive to messages and very accommodating. I can only recommend and maybe come back!!we loved it!! Talk soon!!

Great place to stay for Ski and Mountain lovers. The apartment is very functional and with games and toys for kids. Our family loved to stay there and we will come back for sure!

Excellent welcome, Pierre is a very caring and considerate host. From the arrival where he patiently waits at a given point (found quickly thanks to his directions), to help access the accommodation (including luggage help at the time) to departure, remaining available during the stay if needed. Apartment fully matches the description, clean, tidy and warm. Ideally located close to ski slopes (shuttles available for more) and shops. Sincerely recommend. Thanks again for everything.

A well-equipped, very functional, well thought out home. Two very nice hosts, responsive and good advice. The location of the apartment a stone's throw from the snow front from the ski locker is a plus for winter and nearby shops are such as to be expected in the heart of a ski resort. A pleasant stay in the heart of a beautiful ski area.

Coming for a week's stay with 2 children, we were welcomed very well and the accommodation is ideally located to shine around the Lake. The space has an exceptional view even more impressive than the photos. The environment is very peaceful. We recomand of course .
