Laura's place was incredible! From the moment you pull in the driveway, you get a sense of peace and calm as nature welcomes you to the house. The house is in great shape and was well appointed with everything we needed for a great stay. Laura is one of the best hosts I've ever experienced as she worked hard to ensure that we had a great stay. Make sure and check out the Merriweather Market while you're in town as they have great food and drinks and are just a mile or so down the road.

We had a hot water issue due to extreme cold. But she jumped right in it and accommodated us they! Even offered a bigger place. Very responsive. She and her team were great! Cute place perfect locations us.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay ❤️ Home looked even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Laura was so easy to work with. We were in town for my son’s wedding and my in laws were staying with us. Since the stay, my in laws continue to compliment the home. Besides being beautiful, it was accommodating in every way. We would all definitely recommend Laura and her home for anyone needing a great stay!

The cabin is peaceful and the property is beautiful. There is a covered porch, pavilion creek side, and the creek is something our dogs loved! Would definitely stay there again if we’re in the area.

This place is every outdoorsman’s paradise. Cell coverage was spotty making it a little challenging to find however the host provided directions which help tremendously. Being from MN it reminded me of northern MN lake cabins with tons more privacy. A large group would have a blast. Lot’s of activities. Our only mistake, we didn’t bring fishing poles. Swimsuits and water shoes to explore the river are important. Rock and fossil collectors be ready. Be aware, you will see all forms of wildlife from insects, snakes, turtles, turkey, deer. The cabin had great WIFI which was helpful due to no cell coverage. Ping pong table, ladder ball, chess, fireplace, bonfires, screened in porch. A short drive to waterfalls, excellent restaurants and stores, including the Meriwether Market which is a must for ice cream and local brews.

Nothing Left To Chance Was My Lasting Impression Of This Lovely Updated Farm House That Kept It's Charm Of Days Gone By. Everything I Forgot Was Already There, Every Meal I Wanted To Prepare Was Possible Because I Had Everything At Hand To Bring It From Groceries To Full Bellies. Such A Relaxing Setting This Must Be To Ready Ones Self For An Event In The Venue In The Rear Of The Property, Which I Took A Peak At And Wished My Family And Friends Were With Me To Enjoy. But The Boys And Myself Truly Enjoyed Our Time There And I Know You Will To.

Cabin was comfortable and the setting was lovely. Wish we could have stay longer.
