Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lijnbaansgracht

We had an amazing two-month stay at this lovely place! The neighborhood is fantastic for families, especially if you enjoy peaceful walks, greenery, and animals. Very close to the house, there are multiple playgrounds, which was perfect for us. Plus, public transportation makes it easy to reach nearby towns (highly recommend to visit: Edam). The hosts were exceptional—always responsive, incredibly thoughtful, and provided us with tons of local insights. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The house itself is great! It’s spacious with beautiful natural light, a big garden, and even a sauna for extra relaxation. We couldn’t have been happier with this arrangement and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

The house has all the comforts. Anything you need is present in ample quantity. The gas fireplace completes it all. The garden is nicely landscaped with various corners and spacious seating options. Hosts Debbie and Frits ensure a hassle-free check-in and check-out. Great stay!

An idyllically located house with fantastic lake views – perfect for our city trip to Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. The location is ideal (almost in the middle of the three cities), communication with Jorrit reliable, friendly, fast - and self-check-in went smoothly. Highly recommended for a city trip!

Nice house in nice area. Maja was very friendly and house offered anything we needed for staying 4 days. Walls was thin so everything could be heard at neighbours and other rooms. But all in all nice place to visit amsterdam, good public transport to the city center. 5/5 would visit again.

A beautiful, classic and artistically decorated Dutch farmhouse on the edge of a gorgeous village surrounded by greenery and nature. The home had everything you need to feel immediately at home and comfortable with a a sense of quality and style. Fabulous backyard for the dog/kids and for the humans to enjoy drinks. Be prepared for the Dutch stairs! Some really lovely dining experiences on the doorstep and an easy walk. Bikes are also on offer for the full local experience. Huub was just charming...

What a wonderful weekend we had in the beautiful spacious house with huge garden a stone's throw from the dunes and the beach. Very much enjoyed the first spring weekend but we also like to come back here in the summer fall or winter!

We spent an amazing 4 days in the apartment celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday. Everyone loved the apartment, the views are to die for, great amenities, high quality furniture and plenty of spaces to sit and relax, even in winter. Would love to come back!

We had a fabulous stay at Otto’s and would definitely recommend. His home is very clean & comfortable and has everything needed for a long weekend. The neighbourhood is quite with lots of great bars and cafes by the water. Thanks again for the wine & chocolates!

The three of us stayed here before a sports event. It was all as described. Well furnished, well maintained, clean. We were very pleased!

This home away from home afforded us a lovely escape from the normal hustle and bustle of our everyday big city life. The warm and cosy decoration, as well as the beautiful and serene surroundings contributed to a very pleasant stay. From the intro/instruction video, welcome message and loads of nicely typed up recommendations and flyers of suggested activities in the area, Marit's proven to be a very accessible and hospitable host. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and highly recommend Marit's place. PS. No idea what brand of bed that was, but we had the best sleep of our lives. Super!

We had a nice time in the apartment! Very cozy and harmoniously furnished, so you feel right at home. The fireplace is a real plus! 10-15 minutes walk to the beach and free parking at the house were great! A sieve and scissors in the kitchen would be helpful. In the cold season it was relatively damp in the apartment, so many drops formed on the windows. In the bathroom and hallway it was quite cold as there is no heating there. Overall, however, it was a great stay

It was a cozy, warm and comfortable accommodation. It is located in a very peaceful hill with a nice view of the see. Especially it takes only 10 min by slow walk to the Ijmuiden beach, everyday, we could see and walk at the wide beach. There are always several people to walk or jog with dogs, families, and friends. They are also very kind to greet each other with a smile. It was also very comfortable to go to supermarket, or other netherland cities. Most of all, the host, Julie is very wonderfully kind. She replied to my question very quickly even at Christmas days. Thanks a lot. I would like to stay here later again in Summer (good weather).

We were very satisfied with our stay at Nanda’s place. Nanda and her husband have created an incredibly beautiful and welcoming home in Utrecht. Staying in their house truly feels like being at home. One of the highlights was their amazing collection of vinyl records, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation – everything was perfect. The location offers excellent access to the city center, and the communication with Nanda was seamless and friendly. It was an outstanding experience overall!

Marcel is a very nice host, super reactive, and this house is a nice alternative to downtown accommodations in Amsterdam (or Harlem) if you're visiting the area.

Great, cozy place to stay in if you want something close to Amsterdam, but nice and quiet. Great to be on the water, supermarket/shops in a nice picturesque town 5 mins from the house and you’ll drive into Amsterdam in 10 mins. Host super responsive and smooth and flexible checkin and checkout. Recommend!

Super schöne Villa!

Murielle's place is just lovely and served perfectly for our work retreat. There were plenty of comfortable bedrooms/beds, enough bathrooms and very generous living spaces. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking group meals. In addition, the decor is lovely and all was tidy and well-kept. We also took some lovely walks based on Murielle's kind recommendations. We really felt as though the hostess was there to help us which made the stay even nicer. Highly recommended.

My family and I as well as our friends spent some great days at Marius’ beautiful house! It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We loved to wake up having an amazing view to the sea. We enjoyed to discover Enkhuizen by feet. There were some restaurants around with very delicious meals. The very close train station with a direct connection to Amsterdam is a big plus. Thank you Marius for welcoming us so nice and friendly as well as for all the recommendations in and around Enkhuizen! Staying at yours is a 100 % recommendation 👍🏻

Amazing location and venue!!!

My family of 5 had a wonderful time at this home! It was beautiful, clean, relaxing and extremely convenient to get around town via bus/metro. We walked every morning around town because the town is extremely charming with several restaurants and a market 2 blocks away. I made breakfast every morning in the beautiful kitchen which had everything one would need. The host was so incredibly amazing, he tracked my flight and knew I would be arriving hours before I told him I would be so he was waiting for us which was amazing after a long flight. He was so sweet, courteous and caring. We were greeted with a warm welcome and many, many treats for us in the refrigerator. From eggs, milk, selection of fresh breads, sweets, fruit, wine, a delicious pear juice, selection of deli meats, butter, and many more items. The warmest welcome we’ve ever received. As if that’s not enough, the AC worked great! The pics don’t do it justice. This is a must stay! Thank you so much for everything!!
