Charming and cozy cottage by the Charente river

This is a little bit of heaven. If you're looking for somewhere to get away from everything (but still have enough to do), somewhere quiet (but still with lots going on) and somewhere that feels like a world away from stress and fuss (but still with Angoulême 30 minutes' drive away), you've found it. The house is spacious, warm and welcoming. There's everything you need (including a bottle of red when we arrived!) and restaurants and bars are less than 5 minutes' walk away. The dock at the back of the house on the river may be the best place ever to enjoy a coffee and watch the ducks or open a bottle in the evening. The best place we've found to de-stress. Love it.

Lovely place to stay, and pool very good. Small disadvantage that you can’t sit out in the sun in the evenings as outside space is on the other side of the building to the pool, but Paula a great host and very flexible/responsive to questions etc. Lots to do in the area. Would stay again.

Small village house

Thank you for the welcome everything was perfect, and thank you for allowing access to dogs it was decisive in our choice. the accommodation is spacious , clean, functional and the owners very responsive.In the village itself, there is not much but St Lin is in itself quite close to everything and the countryside is pretty nearby. The enclosed garden with shelters is a real plus when you have a dog , we will come back to your place next year when we return to the Menigoute festival

Large family house very well equipped inside and out. We were 11 adults, lots of space, very good bedding, cooking utensils and very many dishes. Everything is made to make you feel good, books, games, bikes, foosball, ping pong, large swimming pool and above all a perfect bocce court😉. A welcome gift that we enjoyed very much....a very good weekend with friends, was only missing the nice weather for it to be perfect ☀️

A very welcoming and very pleasant family home. A huge garden and very well kept. We had a very good family stay. There was everything that needed for both adults and children, between books, board games, outdoor games and the famous foosball table... Rural lodge with a pool

In the countryside is an atypical place: a comfortable cottage with a beautiful pool and right next door an inn with surprising decor, intoxicating music and crispy Belgian fries. Nothing like this to seduce us when we arrive in the evening tired without having food planned:-) The warmth and good humor of the hosts made this evening a beautiful unforgettable experience! Thanks for everything, don't change anything!

Simon and Sarah are impeccable hosts. The cottage is gigantic and offers an impressive number of activities. You can't be bored, you can't be disappointed. The photos are pretty, but don't do reality justice. The setting is beautiful and exotic. Thank you so much, and I hope to be back soon:)

We had such a lovely family holiday. Sue is a fantastic host and made us feel right at home. The house is in such a peaceful place but within driving distance of quaint towns and stunning beach lakes. Would highly recommended if you're looking to get away things

Large traditional house and pool

Ann was very available, and was very accommodating (especially on our arrival time, a thousand thanks for that) The accommodation is very large, we stayed at 14 (9 adults and 5 children) and we did not lack space (except maybe on the kitchen table in rainy weather) The exterior is huge, and great for the kids. The pool is large and its access is well secured. The game room with darts, ping, badminton... and the bike room with bike available are really a plus.
