You won't find mobs of tourists here but you will experience a working lobstering village in Maine. Sit back, relax and enjoy the quiet and privacy of 2+ acres at the end of a dirt road with a huge dock located on a tidal cove. Great for family reunions with lots of space and activities for folks of all ages. We focus on making the house comfortable and don't want you to worry about the little things like feet on the couch, water rings on the table or a broken glass. Life happens :-)

Cozy log cabin on private pond, near Reid St Park!

Winter or summer, the Little River Retreat will help you step away from the world - but still be minutes from Reid State Park, Five Islands Lobster, the Georgetown General Store, and the rugged beauty of Midcoast Maine. This is our family camp, with our own books, games, and “vibe”. It is not a hotel, and some things may not be “industry standard”. We love the unique charm of this space and place, and many repeat guests do too. We hope you will treasure (and care for it) as we do!

There is a spacious bedroom with two twin beds and desk with desktop computer available for use, a sitting area with couch and large roku TV, dining area with fridge, microwave, toaster oven and keurig with complimentary coffee and private bathroom with shower. During the season complimentary bikes and kayaks are available. If the guest has a service dog, the pet deposit is $1500.
