Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in London Borough of Croydon

Vanessa is a very well experienced and personable host and everything has been thought out and clear. For me the quality of the bedlinen, duvet, pillows stood out, along with the private bathroom, a huge plus. Thank you Vanessa for your hospitality.

Shirley is a lovely and gentle lady. I came to London to settle down and have been staying here for about a month while looking for my next rental. I feel at home with her, especially when we watch TV during dinner time. Haha.

Lovely home and even lovelier host! Monica is everything you could have hoped for in a host, she was kind and generous with her hospitality. There is only one things I would say, the home is about 30-40 minutes by train from central london, so if you are wanting an easier commute then I would recommend to look elsewhere.

James was a wonderful host, very polite and friendly. We chatted over tea which was lovely. Double room was nice and even set up the travel cot for us for my daughter to sleep in not that she slept in as she wanted to be her brother in the little area above the lounge area so we all ended up sleeping up there. For adults it’s not that comfortable just because it’s airbeds and personal preference I do prefer a bed however as I said my daughter had other ideas so unfortunately I didn’t get to enjoy the double bed. This is not a negative to James either, it’s actually to my daughter who was a little monkey. Breakfast was laid out the night before just because we were leave early. My son slept fine and my daughter slept fine once she was up there. If I do the London Landmark Half Marathon again it’s a place I’d stop at again. By the way I finished in 2 hours 48. Thank you

I had a lovely stay! Harriet was very nice and thoughtful, and we had some lovely chats during my visit. Although I know the area v well, location was excellent, and the adorable Topper added a lot of warmth to the home. The room was comfortable and cosy ensuring a smooth, relaxing stay.

Super stay in comfortable spacious room. Leroy is a joy to chat with, he gave us lots of helpful suggestions: places to eat, visit and suggestions to get around. Definitely recommend!

Anne was a lovely and accommodating host. The room was clean and cozy (just as pictured). The house was also clean and is in a great location. There’s a pretty Battersea park close by and many places are accessible by public transport.

Alex and his wife,Sarah, were a lovely welcoming hosts, Alex was really responsive and provided clear instructions on how to get to his place.The room was clean and tidy located in peaceful residential neighborhood, I felt safe walking around, even at night, as solo female traveler. In addition, the location was a 10-15 min. walk to the nearset tube station. I recommend staying here for a cozy, convenient and private stay in London.

Wow! What an AMAZING stay. I really cannot thank the lovely Shasca enough for her hospitality, she is the most welcoming and gracious host and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. The room itself is gorgeous.. super bright and clean. With a fully operational kitchen, clean bathroom (with amazing water heating for showers!!!) and fantastic location, I really couldn’t ask for more. The recommendation of falafels from a nearby restaurant was icing on top of the cake. After such an amazing stay.. safe to say I think I’ve found my go to place to stay when in London. Thanks so much Shasca!! Hope to see you and your lovely husband soon!!

Kirstine is a responsive and friendly host. Lots of personal touches and a welcoming home. Great place to stay.

Staying with Karen was a pleasure, and I felt that | gained a new friend in Karen. The home was cozy and clean, the cats were adorable, and your thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. We appreciated your quick responses and helpful recommendations, very accommodating and provided great local tips. Wi-Fi connection was good, the space was just as described, the beds were comfortable, no trouble with the heating and shower, there were extra blankets and towels ready for our use if needed. Thank you for a great stay. We'd love to stay here again someday!

Jenny’s place was lovely! We stayed for a few nights whilst visiting Greenwich, and it was a perfect base. The room was very comfy and quiet, and Jenny was very friendly and responsive. She also kindly cooked us a delicious breakfast which was a nice treat. Sacha the dog was also very cute! Thanks for having us Jenny.

This is a superb choice for a single traveller to London. Jacqueline is a superb hostess, extremely helpful and informative, whilst discreet at the same time. The lovely room is located in her beautiful home and has everything that the busy traveller needs. It is in a superb location, with easy access to several Underground and Overland stations, that will get you easily to and from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The room has everything that one needs. It is elegant and very clean with a generous ensuite bathroom. There are tea and coffee making facilities, as well as toiletries that were most appreciated when one is trying to travel light. The room is warm or cool as one requires, with adjustable heating. I cannot recommend this room too highly as, apart from all the above reasons, it is an amazing opportunity to stay in a beautiful, quiet and elegant home with a charming hostess, as a guest in a lovely, central part of London.

Natasha's place is impeccably clean and lovely, with lots of small artistic touches. She was very proactive with communication around house guidelines. She was super understanding when I had to change my trip by one day. I found the neighbourhood very cool, too, and it was just a 20 minute walk down the canal to where I needed to go for a work event.

Friendly host , comfortable nights sleep . Tea and coffee in room .

Zane is exceptionally pleasant lady and I felt very comfortable during my stay at her house. Recommend :)

Best Airbnb host I’ve ever had! Manuela is so welcoming, helpful and treats you like her own family. The room was large, full of natural light, and Manuela made it very comfortable for my three month long stay.  I would happily stay here again and recommend anybody to book.

Great stay at Tamila’s self contained ground floor accommodation, spotlessly clean and comfortable with snacks and brekkie items including milk was a bonus. Also microwave, fridge and washing machine in utility space. Highly recommend!!

Ana is lovely. She is chatty, friendly, easy-going, helpful and so accommodating. Ana has done an incredible job in decorating her house. The bedroom was spotless, clean, modern, comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was also spotless. The house is not far from Kensal Road Station and all local amenities.

Host is very welcoming and great communication. Apartment room has an incredible view and everything you need for a nights stay. Our 2nd time staying and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Shadwell/Brixton area

I had a wonderful time at the Vicarage with Angela, Sue and their cat. The room is spacious and comes with its own bathroom across the hallway. There is a nice breakfast included (a true B&B!) and Sue and Angela are all around great hosts. I'd stay with them again :-)

We had a wonderful time at Hazel's and felt at home:) She was the perfect host; super sweet and always quick to reach. The house is beautifully decorated - as if you were in an English movie :) The breakfast was varied and delicious and we could make ourselves tea and coffee and cuddle in the morning with cat Caspar:) Hazel is very good at creating a balance of conversations and privacy. She gave us many recommendations for the area. Also is great; we recommend Skeehans Pub and Chai Garden's Thai restaurant. Central London can be reached in 30 minutes by train.
