Nettles Nest is a rustic cabin nestled in the piney woods of northeast Texas in the small town of Redwater, just outside of Texarkana. It is located on a 5 acre lake. It's a great place to unplug. No Wifi. Fish (bring your own pole,etc.), swim, paddleboat, kayak, relax on the deck or under the pavilion. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families , and pets (up to 2 at no additional charge) . $30 fee per day after that, up to maximum of 4. No large groups. No parties.

This cabin is so secluded you can go all day without seeing another car drive by. There is no pier but a boat ramp is around the corner. Plenty of activities on the property including a paddle boat, board games, horseshoes and fishing. There are restaurants close to cabin and only 20 miles from the historical town of Jefferson.
