Holiday rentals in Longford

Warren lodge was perfect for my family. There was a basketball hoop in the garden which my children enjoyed playing with. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean, the bedding was lovely and fresh. Maria kindly provided a welcome pack including all the necessities after a long day of travelling such as bread, milk, butter, jams, coffee and chocolates which the kids loved. There were also lots of other thoughtful touches around the house that made our stay like home, such as board games and books suitable for all ages. Maria made us feel so welcome and we would have loved to have stayed longer! Thank you for a lovely introduction to Ireland Maria!

I mentioned in my booking that I was there was a family funeral and the first thing I saw was a sympathy card and some flowers. So so kind and thoughtful. And the day before we were leaving Shelagh sent me a message saying I could check out anytime I like as there was no one immediately booked after me. I was there for very sad reasons and Shillelaghs kindness was so appreciated by myself and family members. Thank you Shelagh

Absolutely stunning, homely, beautiful, spacious and practical. Each bedroom and bathroom is beautifully designed with love and care as well as interesting art work. Views are outstanding and it feels amazing to wake up in such a nice peaceful place. Everything was clean and it is full of useful appliances. Host was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to visit back here again.

Michael was so helpful and made us feel right at home. he made sure the heating was on and all was sorted for us. we will definitely be recommending nanny murphys cottage!!!

This accommodation was one of the best I've stayed in. The location was ideal as we were attending a wedding in Lough Rinn Castle. The house was so spacious with everything thought of. We were slightly late checking out and met Stephen, he could not have been nicer. The little extras like the bread, milk, tea, coffee just rounded off the whole place perfectly. Thank you so much Stephen, we couldn't recommend the place higher.

Excellent stay! David was very helpful-meet us when we arrived, showed us around, even provided some basic needs like milk and bread. The place was very clean and comfortable. Washer/dryer was a challenge but David did warn us in advance to be proactive. It’s not far (20/30 min) from Roscommon tourist things to do and Carrick on Shannon. I would stay again for sure and would highly recommend!

Erica was a lovely host, catered to our every need and was consistently responsive to any of our questions, 10/10 would stay again!

Beautiful home and location and excellent communication with the hosts, unfortunately didn't get to meet them but they are super friendly and hopefully see them next time. This house was a great find and suited our needs perfectly . When we arrived Michael checked with us about our local knowledge. But he was completely unobtrusive apart from that. The facilities are excellent and the house was spotless. Heating was really good. Set on a timer but house remained warm even when off. Dromod is a nice quiet village well placed for larger towns like Carrick on Shannon and Longford. Totally recommended
