We enjoyed our stay at the house. Close to Tyler and there are some cute little restaurants right down the road along with Brookshires grocery store. Quiet neighborhood

This was an amazing stay! My boyfriend and i spent our NYE sitting by the fire pit and enjoying the nice fire. Kaitlin was a wonderful host; extremely responsive and helpful! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little getaway in a quaint area in East Texas.

My little family of 4 stayed here a week ago. After a long month (Jan) we needed a little get away to recharge and relax. This place was everything and more. Very relaxing and calming the views are beautiful and the cabin is very cozy. We listen to the records they had, dance around and my kids explore the outdoors. I touched every book in that place. My favorite part was waking up to the lake view and enjoying a coffee out by the lake while birds sang! Very serene, very peaceful and great place to come with a small group. I’ll definitely be back in warmer weather. 🫶🏼 Fuerte Family!

My 3 daughters and I had an incredible time! The cabin was actually even more beautiful and charming than the pictures make it out to be! I loved the personal touches throughout and how Cheryl and Randy greet you when you arrive and give you a tour of the property and all the amazing amenities you can take advantage of during your stay - from the chapel, to the workout room, to the library/movie room, and more! The farm fresh breakfast on Cheryl and Randy's beautiful deck overlooking the pool, pond and nature is A MUST! My girls loved all the farm animals and two VERY friendly farm dogs! I can't wait to go back and experience the other cabins and spend more time with Cheryl and Randy hearing their amazing story!

We’ve made multiple visits to Willow’s Cabin, and each visit lives up to the last! Love being able to have a quiet getaway and know that we are supporting a good cause and good people at the same time. Will be back again!

Great little place to stay!

The Half lady was exactly like the description. A very comfortable and adorable place to stay. If you have the opportunity to stay here I highly recommend and check out the cute little story on the half lady.

We were so impressed with our cabin. We enjoyed our little getaway and had quality family time. There was plenty to do. We enjoyed fishing and roasting marshmallows by the campfire. It was spacious. The cabin was stocked with everything you could think of, we could have packed lighter. Would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake a little more.

Had to quickly find something else last minute bc the place we were supposed to have at didn’t go through. Darla was very quick to sending exactly what we needed to get into the cabin!

The location is super cute and comfortable. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Was a great little getaway in the woods. The cabin was really cute. We really appreciated the covered carport because it stormed the whole time we were there. Jerry was super nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend it for a weekend trip out in the woods or a hunting trip.

Shellie's place was great. It was cozy and comfortable. Shellie and her family were very welcoming and friendly. They made us feel at home. We will definitely stay at Shellie's place on our next trip to Whitehouse Texas.

Had a great time, printed and laminated instructions inside as well as a laminated print out for local restaurants, 3 boat parking with 6 plugs, clean place and friendly flexible owner, perfect place for any group trip out to fork and only 3 minutes from lake fork marina!

Extremely comfortable beds and cozy cabin with all the amenities you'd ever need. Our girls loved the playground! We loved how patient Robin was with letting the girls feed the animals. Our souls were replenished being around nature and the animals!

We have stayed at this house 4 times now. We LOVE it! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable. The view is amazing. We absolutely love getting to use their boats in the private lake. This house is so special to us and we always have such a great time and make wonderful memories. Dennis is a great host and is always there to answer questions. I highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

First let me say this, the pictures do not do this place justice! From arrival until departure we were happy. Brought my dad on a fishing trip to fish from the boat house. He is partially disabled and has trouble walking inclines or long distances. The boathouse was not too far from the house or not too hard of a walk for him. We were able to catch 2 catfish from there. No boats needed! Fair warning, you are in the wild and will see some spiders but they stay to themselves. Will definitely be back again soon!

Our stay at the Old Cypress River House was exceptionally pleasant and enjoyable! The pictures do not do it justice. Everthing we could want was there. The house is lovely, warm, comfortable, nicely decorated and right on the Bayou, where the fish were jumping even at 10:30 at night! We highly recommend this place for a family outing where you will enjoy sitting on the deck watching the peaceful bayou and the moon rise and the sunset, kayaking, fishing, and cooking smores at the fire pit. You will feel right at home immediately in this lovely and obviously loved home.

I’m so sad the weather was crap because I was looking for Mears to sitting on the beach and doing homework while getting some Sun. I love your place!

This place exceeded my expectations! It is even better than what you see in the pictures—so peaceful, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. The setting is perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the parking access was convenient and easy. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be coming back again in the future. Highly recommend!"
