Beachfront holiday rentals in Los Angeles County

David and Ginger are good hosts. They allowed us to get in earlier than the stipulated time. We made good their home and the easy access to Long Beach. They were flexible to us in exiting the home so we could wait there instead of the airport. Thank you

The space was perfect for the two of us and our pooch. Unbelievable location. We parked the car out front, and walked almost everywhere. Perfect location. The kitchen is well stocked and very clean, as was the bathroom, with a wonderful shower head that was perfection. We look forward to staying again. WE LOVE THE AREA and the rental!

Jermey’s place was perfect. Close to restaurants and the beach. Very clean and quiet inside. Would stay here again.

This was our second stay at Sean’s bungalow and it was just as great as the first time. Sean is a communicative host and was very accommodating and flexible with our needs for a semi late checkout. Having a fully kitchen, washer/dryer, & access to beach cruisers and beach toys make Sean’s place a great place to stay. Combined with the peace, relaxation and the ocean just block away, you really can’t beat it. We will definitely be back for a 3rd stay, and more.

Alain is an excellent host- was very responsive and helpful. There was a minor plumbing issue during our stay but it was sorted out quickly and he was accommodating to our schedule in scheduling the work to be done. His place is as advertised- looks just like the pictures. The location is walking distance to the beach and a playground but you do have to cross the very busy PCH. We have two young kids and they appreciated the toys available to use, both in the house and for the beach. Also great to have off-street parking space for two cars. Overall, a great stay and would def recommend.

Great cottage with all the amenities. Meghan was very responsive and friendly when we had questions. Highly recommend.

We had the best time!! Everything was just as described. The view from the patio is lovely and the beach is right in front of you. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

We had a great time here! Booked very last minute and ended up being almost perfect! Main pros were location, beach access, provided beach toys, very comfy bed. The view is exactly as depicted in photos. So not completely oceanfront but can see and hear the ocean just fine. Construction noise as mentioned in other reviews was not an issue for us. Very cozy small place, worth the price for location. And was very clean. We had issues with the grill which was a bummer but they came and fixed as soon as I mentioned. One thing to note is the sofa bed was very basic. Great for our kids but would not recommend putting an adult on it. Also I was very confused by reviews stating the kitchen was very well stocked. That threw us off as we were planning on cooking every meal. No mixing bowls, and exactly 4 plates, 4 cups, 4 bowls…next time I’ll bring paper plates for serving etc. Would definitely come back! Look forward to booking again.

Our whole family had a great stay! Accommodations were beautiful and we especially appreciated the view from the balcony. Even in the off season there was a lot to do in Avalon, and it's a lot of fun driving around town in the golf cart.

A Slice of Positano in Catalina – Stunning Ocean Views! Staying at Troy’s place in Catalina Island was an absolute dream! The beautiful Positano-inspired architecture and breathtaking ocean views, made for a perfect getaway. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the sight of the sparkling water and enjoying coffee on the patio was truly magical. The location was fantastic—just a short drive to Avalon’s best restaurants, beaches, and attractions. Whether relaxing at the house or exploring the island, the stunning views made every moment special. Troy was a wonderful host—responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. If you’re looking for a Catalina escape with amazing ocean views and European charm, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!

Wow! This place is absolutely incredible—nothing else in Catalina will ever compare! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the stunning view and couldn’t believe we got to stay in such a beautiful space. The unit was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. But that view—we could have spent all day just sitting on the porch, soaking it in. The included golf cart was a game changer, making it easy to get anywhere in town within minutes. The hosts and property manager were fantastic—friendly, flexible, and truly went above and beyond. We’ll be talking about this trip for a long time and can’t wait to stay here again. 10/10 recommend!

This Hamilton Cove vacation home was absolutely perfect! The sea view from the balcony was breathtaking, and we loved waking up to the sound of the ocean. The home was clean, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The included golf cart made exploring Avalon a breeze. Can’t wait to return!

The best Airbnb host experience yet. Having booked several trips throughout the country for several years, this is really saying a lot. The taxi driver knew exactly how to get to the place and how to get past the gate guard. Although the posted pictures are great. You really have to be there to truly experience how beautiful it actually is. We decided to make dinner at the rental. Had everything you could possibly need to cook. This is the type of place you don’t want to share and keep it a secret all to yourself. Yet, the hosts are way too cool and accommodating to do that.

No words are good enough to express how thankful we are to Caroline . We have been to so many rentals before in CA but this one truly is the best of the best . Caroline was so caring and made sure we were happy, she checked on us several times during our stay to make sure we were happy or if we need anything to enjoy our stay . She responds to calls almost instantly and she checked on us many time to make sure we were happy . Caroline is a wonderful person very honest and sincere . Even after we left the rental she called us to make sure we arrived our home in Arizona safely . Thank you Caroline for everything.

Great place to stay in Malibu. The heated pool is perfect even on a cloudy day in winter. The electric heaters in the patio are a nice touch. The steam sauna is relaxing. Road noise is minimal at least in the west bedroom. Laundry in basement is useful and you can pay for it using an app, don’t need coins ( though that’s an option). Highly recommended overall.

The apartment was spacious, amazing views, and very clean upon arrival! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cooking equipment. Closet by the door also had lots of sports equipment (golf clubs, tennis racquets, balls, etc.) that were great for fun activities! The only reservations were that the grill was pretty dirty and the apartment was a little dusty (triggered a little bit of allergies in some of our guests). Besides that, we had a great time and would highly recommend!

This little unit was the perfect home base for our Newport Beach explorations. It was decorated and appointed nicely and was located near the ferry while still a 7 min walk to Marine. The space accommodated all of our needs and felt peaceful and secure.

My extended family and I had to evacuate from the Eaton fires and stayed in this lovely home for 10 days. From beginning to end Jennifer was available to answer all my questions and she made our stay so comfortable. The house is very beautiful, clean and amazingly equipped with good quality furnishings and every amenity that one would need. Staying at the house made our disastrous situation much better. We will most likely rent this home again for a vacation.

Fantastic host! Stocked the fridge with water and left us some fruit and chocolate for our arrival. Gave us early check in and late checkout. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. The upstairs bathrooms even have bidets. Would 100% stay again. The only negative worth mentioning is the house is on a main road so there was car noise audible in the mornings. But that's the trade off for being directly across from the beach entrance.

This location is absolutely amazing. Private gated neighborhood feels safe and is super quiet. The house is really comfy and inviting. The view, now that takes the cake. Step out onto the patio and you are over looking your little slice of heaven. We were on the beach everyday with the kids, sun bathing and collecting cool rocks . There is a ladder down to the beach, but it is like three steps so very easy for anyone. Sliding down the ladder and watching the sunset was our favorite thing besides coffee in the morning watching the waves. Kathy is an amazing host. Responds right away to any questions you have. She even set us out some fire wood and starter wood for the indoor fireplace and there is a new propane fireplace she had ready on the patio. Absolutely loved this place and we will be coming back in June! Thank you Kathy for the unforgettable vacation!

If you’re a fan of interior design, this place will suit you! Very thoughtful decor & furniture throughout. There were some issues to work out during our trip, but the host was quick to respond with solutions.

We and our friends had a good time. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to prepare our meals every day. Would recommend to others!

This is a beautiful home within walking distance to the beach. The layout of the home is perfect with a large kitchen and family room, second family room upstairs, and well appointed and comfortable bedrooms. Tuan was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back again!
