Farmstay holiday rentals in Louisa County

Such a lovely place! We had a great weekend, and the whole area is especially beautiful in the fall. Sharon and Butch were kind, accommodating, and responsive. We’re looking forward to staying again soon!

This house was ideal for my family gathering and additional sleep accommodations that wasn’t available at my nearby home.

We had a perfect stay with Kim! The cabin was exactly as advertised and it was a great place to hole up over a cold weekend. My toddler daughter got to play with the cats and feed the horses that are stabled there. My husband enjoyed the rustic setting and the breweries nearby. And I got an amazing prenatal massage on-site. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a little peace and quiet.

Stayed December 23-27 2024 to close out the year, host the holiday and meet my mom 1/2 way to Monticello for a special tour at nighttime. This was a prime location. Loved it. Dogs had a great time playing with horses and meeting cats. Kim provides a solid experience and a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend if you can book this place and you’re in the area.

Morgan was extremely responsive. We loved the cottage experience, esp since we also had full use of the outdoor space, inc around the main house. True serenity. My mom didn’t want to leave her room behind. Gordonsville is a great location and we barely made a dent in all the things we wanted to do. Drove to Lake Anna one day which wasn’t bad at all. Only con is that the price seemed similar to lakefront properties and/or full houses (I.e. full kitchen). Since it was neither, felt the price could have come down.

This was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever head. Our family of 5 (kids ages 4, 9, 11) had the best time! The property is absolutely beautiful, and the hosts couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating. The best advice I could give to prospective renters: show up early! If you’re only there one day, don’t miss the daylight time to hike the property, fish in the ponds, greet the animals or take a ride on the zip line! We are already talking about when we’ll make our next trip!

Spent a long, peaceful weekend at this property. While the pictures are great, they do no justice to how beautiful this home is in person. Not only is it spacious, but also anchored in open and cozy common spaces for group activities. The surroundings are private, peaceful and stunning. The fire pit and hot tub, and an afternoon walk to the chicken coop and hidden lake were highlights for our stay. I would give Cherille and Mark a 10 out of 5 in hospitality and attentiveness. Planning out next trip back later this spring. 😊

Hands down one of the best Air bnb stays ever. Mark and Chirelle were beyond accommodating and we truly felt at home in their amazing home. Everything in the home was beyond immaculate and the ambience and decor were second to none. Beyond 5 stars. We will most certainly visit again.

Peaceful, picturesque, and cozy location and everything was in perfect order. I was disappointed when where I've stayed in the area in the past was not longer available but wow this took my stay over the top. It's just minutes away from where I was visiting making while giving me time away to relax with some time to myself. I've already recommended to other family members and this will definitely be my go to place for future visits to Gordonsville. Thank you for sharing your property!!

Our Valentine’s weekend stay was absolutely beautiful! The cozy atmosphere, paired with the sound of rain on the tin roof at night, made for such a relaxing experience. We also had a blast getting to know all the animals outside, they were so much fun to spend time with! Everything about this stay was peaceful and memorable. Highly recommend! Also try Macs Kitchen and Catering & Bethels Brews and Bites, so delicious.

We had an amazing experience staying at J’s place. Communication with J was seamless and quick, even when we had a late-night flat tire on our check-in day. The cabin was charming, cozy, and had everything we needed. We were fortunate to meet J and his family, and when they found out I ride horses, they graciously invited me to help out at their barn and even gave me the chance to ride one of their horses, Pete. Their hospitality and kindness were truly exceptional. We highly recommend staying at J’s property—you’ll have a fantastic time and be very well cared for!

What a great place to celebrate Christmas with our large family! Loved the bunk rooms for the kids. Kitchen was so spacious and well stocked. Plenty to do with the indoor and outdoor games and activities. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Would've liked more lighting; the house was dark, esp in the evening and late December. Staff was responsive.

After years of over scheduled vacations, we decided to select a laid back, play it by ear vacation. This may be the first vacation that’s we’ve had that we don’t feel like we need another week to recoup! We opted to stay home every other day and go somewhere every other day. The house was beautiful and the only thing we didn’t have was local TV which turned out to be the best thing for relaxing. Thank you David and Norma for opening your beautiful home to us!

Had a great stay at Shenandoah Crossing- Chris was very communicative and helpful.

Jeff and Denise made us feel completely at home! They provided all the check-in details ahead of time and even accommodated an early arrival. The property is stunning, with a picturesque driveway lined by mature cedar trees. The cottage, situated by the pool and jacuzzi, is simply charming. Inside, it was beautifully decorated, and we were greeted with a bottle of wine and chocolates. Everything felt fresh and new, as the unit has been recently renovated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with soft linens and plenty of pillows. The kitchen was impressively stocked, and they even left us filtered water in the fridge. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return! Although we were just a short drive from UVA where we were visiting our daughter, the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true getaway.

We had a great stay. The fenced in yard was amazing for letting our dog run around. The fireplace was cozy. The provided soap was a nice touch as were the beds being made upon arrival. The bathrooms were luxurious. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay and relax and I would recommend it to anyone.

Elizabeth is a phenomenal Airbnb host. So friendly and had everything laid out and explained perfectly! The area was beautiful and the kids loved running around on the property, seeing the cows and wildlife, running around the pond, and the indoor space was great for them too. The house had everything you could need and more! So cozy and every bed was extremely comfortable. The Christmas decor was an added bonus and made coming her during the holiday season so fun for us! Would highly recommend this private and beautiful oasis!
