Cottage holiday rentals in Louisiana

It was amazing, ( the shower was a little small) the pool was so nice. The owners were in town and they were very polite and nice. He told us about something’s that were going on around town and they also respected our privacy. All in all I would give this place a 10/10 and can not wait to book here again.

Enjoyed very much. Everything was as it should be. No complaints at all.

We were extremely pleased with the house and hope to stay again in the future. The house has all the charm of a craftsman style home . Just lovely!!! Beautiful location and the house had everything we needed and more. We love the Covington/Madisonville area and plan to book again on our next visit.

We stayed here for a trip to explore the bayou. This was a great location and in a beautiful part of Houma. It is only about an hour to the tobasco plant, grand isle, plantation tours, and only 20 mins to a bayou tour. Place was exactly as described. Hot tub was nice, but did have to ask them to turn it on during the allotted hours of 6-10pm.

Wonderful little cottages in an RV park right next to the casino. The loft area was very cozy. Very clean and well kept. It was heated and cool with two mini split style a/c units. 10 min walk to the casino. Couldn’t have been happier with my stay.

We booked Shana’s place and to be honest it exceeded our expectations. The location is pretty rural which is what we wanted and the street it is located on is well maintained you can tell everyone has pride of ownership and this place was no exception. Cottage was very purpose built and stocked from the hot tub to location of fan’s/ AC, lighting more than enough cooking supplies- abundant amount of pots and pans, utensils, rice cooker, crock pot etc. When we first arrived the kids were running around like a kid in a candy store, massage recliners in living room the outdoor kitchen with tv, hot tub and the closeness to the water… to admit me and the wife were doing the same. Hot tub nights, roasting marshmallows listening to the owls staring up at the stars with a daiquiri in the beautiful Lousiana swamp it doesn’t get much better. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!!! Book the experience now!

Great place to stay for us and our big dog. Did a lot of walking and exploring, looking for wildlife. did a lot of birding - it was awesome. there's a marsh behind the house and a bayou across the road in front. saw some gators and beavers paddling around. we also visited the state park just down the road. nice boardwalk and of course more birding and beavers. Did not get to see black bears. Maybe next time. Had everything we needed. got to watch a storm roll in over the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Will happily return and highly recommend.

Lovely quiet cottage with outdoor space - great proximity to Frenchman St, the Quarter, Riverfront, Bywater, and the fabulous Marigny neighborhood.

Excellent stay! Accommodated two adults, two teens, and three children with ease. Loved the location; felt secluded and private while close enough to walk or make a short drive to the lakefront, playgrounds, restaurants, shops, etc. We would definitely return.

The place was perfect for us and the kids. Coffee on the porch, the lil fenced in yard for the dog, and the very comfy beds were just a few of the wonderful things. If I am ever back in Youngsville I will stay again!

The house is close to the street so there is some road noise in the front of the house. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels and wash rags in the bathroom. Yes I would probably stay there again if I were to go back to West Monroe.

We had a great stay at Jayson's home. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. The layout of the house is very functional, and the deck was a great place to relax and socialize. It was so close to our planned activities. We were there for riding bikes on St. Tammany Trace and a jazz concert at the Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall. Jayson's house is very close to the trail and is a 5–10-minute bike ride to Dew Drop.

This house was perfect for our family. Lots of space inside and outside. They had a stocked kitchen with everything we needed.

This house was so clean. It had all the “extras” like coffee, spices, and even medical supplies. Hank and Nealy were super responsive to messages and made everything easy. We will definitely be back.

Laura was very pleasant and responded quickly to all of my questions. She went to check out the rental before we arrived to make sure everything was in order. Enjoyed communicating with her.

Exceeded our expectations! The cottage is lovely lovely, nicely decorated, and well furnished. the kitchen is well stocked and the living room has games, puzzles, and books. the soaking tub was a lovely touch. This would be the perfect place to spend a long weekend disconnecting from the rest of the world. The location is great, too. It's close enough to the freeway to be convenient to get to, but far enough away that it's quiet and peaceful with no freeway traffic. Thank you for a great stay!

This was my second stay at this home while visiting my daughter at LSU. Quiet, nice neighborhood within a short distance to restaurants and stores. The pool was heated and a fun added bonus. Would definitely recommend Tyler’s place.

This is truly a little gem in Church Point! The house was so cute and tidy, and Jennifer was the most gracious host! She even met us on checkout morning with a delicious loaf of sourdough bread and local honey. We enjoyed chatting with her about the house’s history! We’ll be back again! Thanks Jennifer (:

Our stay at Brenda’s is always amazing. She is attentive to details, communication is awesome and everything is always ready for our arrival. The kitchen is wonderful and is equipped with everything you would need. We have stayed at Brenda’s several years now and have already booked for next year. Wonderful property.

Kelly is a wonderful host. Friendly, attentive and very easy to work with. The property is beautiful and certainly made our stay more enjoyable Kelly is the best! We’ll be back!

We have been going to Mandeville to bike ride on the St Tammany Trace Trail for many years now and have stayed at one of Ed’s cottages whenever it was available. The cottage is immaculately clean and feels like a home away from home. It is convenient to walk or bike to almost anywhere in Old Mandeville. When we arrive we park our car and don’t get back in it again until we are ready to leave to come home. Ed is the perfect host and always makes everything so convenient for us. We will be back.

Very cozy and comfortable! Had everything we needed for the weekend. Gorgeous sunrise over the water each morning!! Highly recommend staying here!
