Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lower Manhattan

Staying at Mark’s historical cabin was a true privilege. The charm and character of the place made it a unique experience, and the fact that it’s just 20 minutes from Manhattan made it even more special. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures — cozy, clean, and full of character. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to the city!

Heba was a great host with a beautiful home. Very clean, welcoming, and spacious. Bonus- All the tile selections were gorgeous! Our families fit comfortably in the home during our stay and we enjoyed our time.

Easy checkin process. Very quiet neighborhood. Host was very responsive and let me book last minute which helped out a lot, place is really nice and when visiting again, would def stay here.

Please stay here and support Nicole.. what a wonderful host Comfortable, clean and safe home Snow storm hit overnight and we woke up to the sidewalk and steps already shoveled and salted … she even offered to dig out our car if the snow was piled up high enough Nicole was very proactive with great communication but we did not feel bothered Plenty of street parking right by the house We really enjoyed watching the ducks and other water fowl in the stream behind the house A little bit of nature to relax after a day in the city Thanks Nicole, we will be back to stay in your home again

This home is beautiful. The only set back is parking is only available on one side of the street so there is limited parking for this home.

Wonderful apartment in a warm neighbourhood and very convenient location, easy walk to the Path or Ferry to NYC. A couple great playgrounds nearby. Apartment thoughtfully appointed and was nice to have some outdoor space. Emily was a great host and appreciate her prompt replies and flexibility (where it was possible).

Maggy was very proactive and responsive. The house was very clean and spacious. I would absolutely visit again if I was in the area.

We had a peaceful garden apartment stay at Margo and Vipin’s. 2 very comfortable bedrooms and a beautiful outdoor garden area. Private, secure, and spotless! Felt like home with lots of blankets and towels. Walkable to transportation, restaurants, and shopping, while situated on a quiet, family-friendly street. Kindly, they were flexible with the checkin and checkout we needed. Sparkling bathroom!

This place came with a lot of charm! Everything was as advertised, and Greg was gracious enough to allow us to check-in early. There was plenty of space for our group of 3 that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other during our stay. Last but not least, the value of this place was pretty great!

Very nice home. It takes a big half hour by bus to get to Port Authority terminal . Very clean, clear instructions for check-in even late. Several buses take you to Manhattan 7 minutes to walk. Cecia explains how to take them. A little extra: a basketball court right next door for the kids to let off steam at night when they get home if they have any energy left!

We're so happy to stay at Ying's place. It's way more beautiful and cozier than what the pictures show. Everything is new/remodeled and clean. It takes just a couple minutes to walk to the bus stop near the traffic light to NYC. Parking can be tricky but Ying's clear instructions make us at ease. Overall I'd highly recommend this place for family trip.

The house is absolutely quiet and private on a hill at the end of a private road with perfect views of Manhattan. It is architecturally interesting from 1906 with plenty of space, several terraces and lots of nice seating. The hosts Julia and Alex communicated perfectly. It was all very good. We would love to stay here again for the next stay on Staten Island.
