Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lower Normandy

As usual, everything went very well during our weekend at Arnaud's. The house is great, Arnaud is very nice. Winter wkd with friends by the fire with a hot tub as a bonus, at the top! Thank you very much!

Upon arrival very well received by Hervé , then accompaniment to the accommodation in order to explain everything to us. Impeccable and pleasant accommodation with beautiful decoration as well as LED lights that really put the atmosphere in. Clean and quiet accommodation. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home in the Normandy countryside. The decor is neat and warm, and the hot tub is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The space looks even more beautiful than the pictures! Séverine, our host, was extremely helpful and always available to answer our questions. An unforgettable experience that we highly recommend!

we had a lovely stay at this lovely home. Unfortunately we did not enjoy the pool as we would have liked because of a technical problem and remained cold but there was the hot tub to console us and Laurence was generous and responsive as well. However, we will keep fond memories of this beautiful spacious house with the stove and wood available to be pleasant to us. My daughter was also happy to see the horses we saw before we left🥰. Thank you! 🤗

We stayed 5 days in Dinan and were charmed by the city and delighted with the location of the apartment. We felt at home in the apartment. Everything is clearly stated by Julie which allowed us to have perfect autonomy. We recommend this home warmly. I would also like to take advantage of this review to recommend the restaurant l 'Antre nous, rue Haute voie 20, which is excellent.

We stayed one night on the road to Véloscenie, it was perfect. We did not have the opportunity to meet Suzan because of our late arrival but the self check-in was very convenient so as not to stress ourselves by bike. The accommodation is as advertised, coffee and tea available much appreciated in the morning.

The holiday was just what we needed. It's a place where you can really relax! Very rustic and rural but with supermarkets a 10 minutes drive away. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 children and the bedrooms were just right. The attic rooms do have low doors, I might have hit my head more than once but I am quite clumsy. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with everything you need. Jennifer is a lovely host, although she lives next door and can often be seen gardening is not obtrusive but very chatty should you want. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the sheep, chickens, rabbit and horse. The pool is a great size, not too deep which meant our 8 year old could stand up. It's not heated but we braved it! It's a lovely location where you can venture out but could happily stay at home and explore the grounds. It's wonderful at night, with no light pollution you can see stars very clearly and we enjoyed watching bats and spotting glow worms! Thanks for a lovely week

Dear guests, This country estate within minutes of old St. Malo, Dinard, and vicinity, and an easy escape to Mon St. Michel, is perfect for your stay near everything. Fully equipped, relaxing, charming, and very close-in, Fabienne's place has it all. We stayed three nights and loved this retreat at the end of each day, and also for a short siesta, or lunch in between, or even to lounge for hours surrounded by nature. So close and yet so tranquil ! This is the best we have ever stayed at and we would love to return. The house would be a great place to stay for short or long stays. Highly recommended! Don

We stayed with Celine and Cédric in the middle of winter: under its old air, the accommodation is well insulated and well heated, whether adults or children, there was never any discomfort. The space was clean, tidy, and ready to welcome us (there was a flare-up in the stove when we arrived). Afterwards it is an old house renovated and in the countryside on the edge of a small wood, it seems normal to me to have one or two spiders in the corners especially since the whole place is very clean (the children hid in pajamas under the beds: they came out without dust👍). The setting is very quiet and the children know how to take care of themselves in the garden. No complaints, in spring or summer it must be a little paradise! Hosts are proactive in communicating and the guidelines are very clear. Celine always responded quickly and was very available. In short: if you want calm while being well received, I recommend it.

Thank you Amaury for your welcome, we all had a great stay in your beautiful home for the passage of the new year.. everything was there: exceptional place, welcoming, warm, the fireplace upon arrival, the attention of the owner always helpful, responsive and very discreet, very appreciated by all! We felt at home, we'll be happy to come back!

We loved this place, and balcony overlooking that river is beautiful and hypnotic. We also loved the surroundings. There was plenty to do close by to the place - lots of pretty villages, two abbeys, Honfleur a drive away. We loved the little ferry close by that takes you across the river to the Abbey and two lovely restaurants. It is a peaceful, relaxing area. Just to explain the layout: you are in the upstairs section of two buildings, both occupied by the owners (one is a garage). The owners are lovely people. They have kindly set apart an area of their garden which is by the side of their house with table and chairs, and they respect your privacy completely, but for some it might be relevant that the outdoor space and pool are shared, not secluded. Inside is attractive, and equipped with all you need and plenty of space for two people. I found the mattress uncomfortable, but still slept well! Wifi didn't work for us but there is 4G. We had a fantastic time here. Many thanks!

We had a lovely stay at Marie-Christine's mansion. We enjoyed the space, the comfort of the rooms and common areas and the many amenities for both entertaining and cooking! Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the beautiful park because of the rather cold weather but it did not spoil our pleasure to meet as a family in this beautiful place.
