Holiday rentals in Lower Woodford

We had the most wonderful time. The church was fantastic and it felt a privilege to stay in a historic building that was also comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. literally a home from home. Jo was a perfect host the welcome basket was full of lovely food. The bungalow is well equipped with everything you need. It was a lovely place to stay and the view from the garden was just so nice watching lambs in the field playing. Our dog wasn’t left out he had treats left for him and the garden was perfect for him. I celebrated my birthday while there and Jo gave me a card and some flowers which was very kind of her she was the perfect host. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would.

We needed a place to stay last minute as having renovations in our home. The flexibility and response to this was great. The house was comfortable, warm and clean. Amos and Don were responsive in their communication. We felt at home and enjoyed our stay. 👍🏻

Church Farm is such a beautiful location and the barn itself was stunning; everything was perfect for a relaxing stay in the countryside. The bathtub in the bedroom was a lovely treat and the rainfall shower was excellent too. We really enjoyed walking around the grounds and feeding the animals. Thank you so much for having us - we’d love to come back and would highly recommend your property.

Our stay was fantastic. Cannot fault Glebe House. My sister and I booked a long weekend to take our parents for their 50th Wedding Anniversary and everyone, from 9 to 79 years old absolutely loved the house as a base for a wonderful weekend. We're already talking about when we want to return! Perfect location, lots of space, comfortable beds, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Lovely walks from the house and nice countryside and pubs all around. Victoria even ensured great weather for us, too!

Our stay at Poachers cottage was really wonderful and exactly what we had wanted. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the cottage was so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The facilities were incredible and we were very lucky to have the pool to ourselves with beautiful weather when we stayed. There was loads for our toddler to do and Adele had any bits we might need for him. I am pretty heavily pregnant and between the pool and the very comfortable beds I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and anytime I needed something, somehow it was already there in the cupboard or in the bedroom. We couldn’t have asked for more. Home made cake and local bits when we arrived and all. Honestly I’ve been so torn on whether to keep this place all to myself but I couldn’t help but rave about my holiday when I got home and have had 3 friends ask for the link to go and stay!
