We had a great stay. Quiet surroundings, very clean property with all we needed. Clear instructions and a very welcoming and helpful host. Local amenities were excellent and plenty to do in the vicinity with my teenage children Would certainly recommend and consider booking again

If you are looking for peace, relaxation and quietness then this is the place. Although there are restaurants, shops and pubs within walking distance. The area is stunning and great to explore. The villa is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. We were greeted by the hostesses daughter Maureen, such a lovely young lady. I'm just sorry we didn't book for longer. Don't hesitate in booking the villa, you won't regret it.

The cottage was above and beyond what any of us had expected. It was absolutely stunning, both on the inside and out. Filled with amenities, both essential and non essential! On our last night when we found the perfect DVD for our cosy night, my friend joked that "Whatever you desire, this house provides." I couldn't agree more. The cottage was just magical, the bedrooms are gorgeous, the hot tub is just perfect and Una is a wonderful host, so responsive, friendly and helpful. I could not recommend this place more, my friends and I visit a new Air bnb every new years eve and this was all our favourites by far. It was just perfect!

Lewis and Stella are good hosts, they made sure the cottage was well equipped for our stay with an infant. The house is spacious, cosy and comfortable. The backyard is just right for the dogs to run and for kids to play. The surrounding is beautiful, scenic and very peaceful and if you get a clear sky its amazing for star gazing too.

My New Zealand Guests were in awe of the beautiful location where the southern Mournes really do sweep down to the sea. Rostrevor is a picturesque location where Oak Woods fuse into Pine Forests and Alpine grassy hills that can offer accessible breathtaking panoramic views right down the east coast of Ireland, deep into the counties of Ulster and even across to the Isle of Man on a clear day. With the myths and legends of the Giants , not to mention walkable Fairy Glens, celebrated in music, song and poetry on the Fiddlers Green (and in the local pubs), it is no wonder the words of C S Lewis rambles with you as you trek the hills and glades of this enchanting place. With a history still there to be inhaled from Ross of Bladensburg to Castles and Squires and a living modern day monastic settlement of Cistercian Monks this place is a melody of life where it lifts your heart to where your soul is content. Just home from a 3 night stay at Teal Cottage. We (my husband, 3 children and a fluffy dog) absolutely loved our time there. The house was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and surrounded by mature gardens and stables that we had access to. The kitchen with its view of the lough was an enjoyable place to relax. Their 2 dogs, Stich and Gilly, were lovable characters who were persistent for cuddles. We spent a fun day at the National Trust estate of Castleward and another day at Delamont Country Park, walking the grounds with our labradoodle and going on the miniature train.

Stayed here recently and absolutely loved it! The location was so private and peaceful, the views surrounding us were beautiful, we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. the host thought of everything to accommodate us, down to the little things. one of the most relaxing staycations we’ve had in a while and i would highly recommend for people who just want to get away and switch off.
