Holiday rentals with a kayak in Luzon

We had a quick trip to Puerto Galera and loved discovering this corner of the world! The house is a comfortable beach house perfect for entertaining and just quality time. They had board games and a fussball table too. Our kids loved hanging out in the loft and playing non-iphone games, which we loved. Bathroom towels and beddings were of hotel quality, aircons and heaters functioned well too. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed for cooking our meals. We asked Rose to cook for us for a fee and her liempo was divine! There is a grill in the garden too and we set up the table outdoors to really feel the place. The beach sand is good and we swam in front of the house. The kayaks were a welcome treat and we rowed around in the area. A fantastic stay, from a great house, attentive caretakers and a quiet and beautiful location.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at La Residencia Nanale and had a great time. The place was beautiful with lots of greenery and sitting nooks that can accommodate large groups. Beds fitted with high quality foam and clean linens for comfortable sleep. Pool was clean and water was warm even at night. The beach, though not white and powdery, has fine sand and kids enjoyed it. Lots of amenities to keep us entertained - videoke, boardgames, a tennis court, and a basketball court. The kitchen is well equipped and water in the toilet and bath was strong (they have rainshowers). One can tell there was much thought and love put into designing the property. The bonfire and welcome treats were a nice touch! The staff were also friendly and helpful. We had the chance to meet the property owners who welcomed us during our stay. For non-pet lovers or those with allergy to animals, there are cats and dogs roaming at the beach and at the property. Definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Highly recommend. Five starts on all counts. Property is exactly as advertised. Lots to do in the area but also the option to relax in peaceful seclusion. Eric was kind and accommodating with any questions we had.

We had an amazing vacation with our pet dog here. We were able to take somewhat of a hike nearby, and swim in one of the cleanest water I've ever swam in. The place is amazing and everyone including Joey, Sir Nino, and each and every one of the locals were so friendly. The only thing that would be great is if they were to have food offerings themselves- though it is highly understandable why the logistics of that would be very difficult. nonetheless, the experience is priceless, and a place to create memories everlasting.

Celebrated my husband’s 30th birthday here with our family and we truly enjoyed the place. We are 17 pax and enough space for all of us. Caretaker ate Q-ann is very accommodating, the rooms are clean and dry. Kitchen is air-conditioned with complete necessities. The view of the sea is beautiful especially during sunset. Pool is warm so we were all able to enjoy it even in the night time. Wifi is fast and reliable. Parking can fit all 3 of our cars with extra space. They also have contact to the local boatmen who were hired for a sandbar tour in the morning. We were still able to enjoy the sea even if the beachfront is not swimmable. My family appreciates and highly praised the place. The host is friendly and keeps us informed at all times. Thank you. Will be back again.

Beach: I’ll start with this because this is what I usually look for in reviews. Aside from the rocky beach, everything else is perfect. We prefer sandy beaches because we have kids but we’re aware that Anilao is known for its mostly rocky beaches. The host was pretty clear about this as well. Rocky yet very clear water. It’s also a marine sanctuary so we had so much fun dish watching. We would actually like to come back and rent a boat going to the white sand beach and do more snorkeling. House: It’s beautiful and super CLEAN! Host & Caretaker: 5 star! My hubby left his watch and jewelry. We were notified right away so we were able to come back for it. If the staff didn’t see it, we wouldn’t have known until we’re back at home. We had a quick yet fun family getaway with this beautiful property. Thank you!

It's 100/10! Very private and quiet place, same as advertised. We love that it is very accessible to the beach. (We were able to access and roam at the beach the soonest we arrived!) My kids and pamangkin enjoyed playing in the sand building their sand castle. The beach sand isn't all fine sand. It is the same as they say. Sand, rocks, shells. So bring your beach shoes so you can walk to the beach longer. They also have beach volleyball, net, kayak and stand up paddle. The sea has lots of sea creatures, fishes, hermit crabs, crabs. We were able to spot some jelly fish, starfish and sea urchins. We were only able to dip in the sea. It is not deep and kids were able to walk so far in the beach to play. As for the place, it is very IG worthy! Every corner everywhere, we were able to get good photos! All the staff are very helpful and they are one call away when we need them.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Balay Angkan. The staff are nice and approachable. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and colleagues. Hoping to come back soon once their pool is ready.

Perfect getaway for nature lovers. The vegetation, farm animals, and lake provide a unique experience you wont find in most airbnb accomodations. The home is spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. The pool was nice too. Overall it was worth the price. Would definitely book again in the future.

The place itself was peaceful, and we especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen—everything we needed was there, and if there’s anything you request , they quickly provided it. This is a perfect place to relax for a large group. The views are so stunning. Sunrise and sunset were always the highlights. The place is clean. Ate Caring was very helpful and Richard responds to everything. Thank you so much do letting us stay in your amazing beach house.

thank you Maricar for your staff Manong Gerry, Karlo, and Nanay for their concern and hospitality at the place. we had our car lights still on on the first day at the parking and Mang Gerry notified Karlo right away so we were able to turn it off. commendable to have Karlo at the place for always assisting us to and from the boat. we had a senior on board and he was very accommodating to our grandparents. our only concern would be the bathroom, I hope it would have assistive bars to be senior friendly and also if there could be rubber mats as it gets slippery. the bathroom that we had in our cabin has no separation between the toilet and the shower so it gets wet. although Nanay has shown us a different cabin that has a divider. if we can request that cabin for our next stay, we'd like to house our grandparents and other senior relatives in there. great view to wake up on, and we enjoyed kayaking and bonfire. we will definitely comeback with family and friends.

Kristine Marie is very responsive. We inquired about the place very late at night but she was still able to accommodate us. She also agreed to let us check-in earlier as there was no guest prior to us. When we arrived at the location, the caretakers let us check-in earlier than the agreed time. Ate Ruby and Kuya Junelle are very friendly and accommodating. They respect our space and privacy within the compound which made our stay even more comfortable. The place was very clean when we got it in. Bedrooms are well ventilated. The living room design and the furnitures on the patio give a luxury beach-front cabin vibe. I would 100% recommend to everyone.

We had an amazing time at Comoriver Retreat! The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karren was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Had a really great time at the place, the lakefront view was amazing. The quietness and simplicity of the place was relaxing, away from noise and pollution. The swimming pool size was just perfect for us to enjoy. Thank God there’s a karaoke and we rented it, so much fun indeed. There are great dining options along the way to Cavinti but we brought our own food for cooking. The free use of kitchen with basic amenities was perfect, we were able to prepare food for the family. Overall experience was the best value for money. The cost to stay in a cabin was just very practical having an aircondition and shower heater and we got to enjoy the entire place. The only thing we missed was the kayaking because it rained, but we’ll definitely try kayaking when we come back again. Thank you to the host of Dumanna!

We had an amazing stay with our family. It is a beach front house and has a breath taking view of the sea. I love the serenity and clealiness of the sorroundings. No big crowds and felt the exclusivity along the stretch of the beach. The hosts are supernice, helpful and responsive. Making it easier for us to locate and reach the place without hassles. Our stay would not be perfect without the caretakers who are very helpful and hospitable.We felt right at home! We would definitely come back and will recommend this found hidden gem. E
