Apartment holiday rentals in Madeira Island

We stayed here for 1 week and had a great time. Apartment is very spacious, even for 2 people. Kitchen equipment is well maintained, allowing us to cook most nights. Location is very good getting into Funchal or around the island for hikes - easy access for the car space helped with this too. Finally, the balcony pic advertised doesn’t do it justice at all - beautiful view of Funchal, the mountains and the sea.

The location and apartment suited us very well: right next to the beach with a lovely pool and view, quiet but easily accessible from the aerobus; and with other bus routes and shops within walking distance, as well as the seaside promenade. Rui Miguel really made an effort to provide all sorts of useful info at relevant times, and was always very responsive and friendly. We had a very pleasant experience.

We spent 11 days in the apartment, it is very well equipped, comfortable and pleasant, and ideally located for visiting the island (car needed, easy street parking). Cesarina is a very welcoming hotel, responsive to messages, and offers documentation of the island in several languages, appreciated. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

We had a great time in Madeira staying at Steve and Aisling’s! Everything was clean, organized, and the apartment has everything you could possibly need on vacation. The hosts were extremely responsive and had some great recommendations for things to do/see/eat on the island!

Great place to stay in Funchal. Ideal for 2 couples. The verandah is fabulous. There is some noise from building in the day but it didnt detract from our trip and it was peaceful at night! Easy walk down into the town and a good supermarket. Everything as described and very happy to have stayed there!

Arsenia was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She was extremely thoughtful, and as a lovely gesture, I even received a beautiful flower from her stunning collection. The hospitality and attention to detail truly made our experience special!

We were received extremely friendly and personally and also said goodbye. We particularly liked the generous amenities and above all the basic amenities with something of everything. There was also a more than sufficient amount of towels (which is not self-evident). Since we could not check into the next apartment so quickly, we were even allowed to stay longer in the apartment. Highly recommend! Thanks again for everything!

Great escape from Funchal! I was on the fence about booking a second place for our 5 day trip, but the serenity of Seixal at this place was a trip highlight. In addition to the balcony and patio views of the coast, the home was modern and clean. 100% recommend!

We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

Definitely worth the money. Spacious apartment with 3 seperate rooms, bathroom and well equipped kitchen. If you rent a car, this is the perfect starting location. The only unconvenience was that there wasn't a place where we could let dry our clothes and the apartment doesn't have any heating.

Very nice and fully equipped apartment (kitchen equipment, bath linen, guides for visits,...). Quiet with a large terrace enjoying a magnificent sea view, village not very lively but still with some restaurants and bars, ideally located to visit Madeira. Nelson was very responsive during our exchanges. A place to visit without hesitation.

We spent a week in this apartment, everything from location to amenities like washer,dryer, beach towels, oven. Great contact with the owner , he quickly answered our questions. Thank you for your kind welcome gift. If we return to Madeira, we will definitely choose Machico and this apartment.

It was our second stay in Fatima's apartment and we were once again very satisfied. The view is spectacular and the apartment has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped to do some cooking. Also, the restaurant at Paleihro Golf nearby is really good and closeby - if you have a car. Fatima is quick to answer any questions. Thank you for another lovely stay!

I had an incredible stay! The place was absolutely amazing—beautifully decorated and very comfortable with AMAZING view. Lucia was a fantastic host, always available and eager to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend staying here; it truly exceeded my expectations!

Many thanks to Claudia, who helped with the airport transfer and met us at the apartment. We would have found the Danilock door system difficult on our own, but once we knew what to do, it was easy! The apartment is large and comfortable, and wine and snacks were a welcome gift in the kitchen. The location is quiet and safe, opposite a school and near a great bakery/cafe and restaurant. You can walk downhill to the centre in 20-30 mins, and we got the bus back up the hill (number 8 or 45). There is also a bus stop for the Airport bus return trip within walking distance. If you intend to use the bus service then you will need Euros or get a Giro card for the local service. We had a great time in Madeira.

The location of the apartment is worth a million, but without a car - nothing, because of steep ups and downsides.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Funchal. It was spotless, well equipped, and had a stunning view. Upon entering, we felt immediately at home. The host, Marina, was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Madeira.

Amazing apartment! We really felt like home, there was everything needed and beautiful view, comfortable beds with memory foam pillows what made the sleep very good. This you cant find in many places. Andre and Lauren was very helpful! So I can only say good words about this place and the host.If I will go to Madeira again will stay there again! Definitely recommend!

We had the most beautiful week here in February. The apartment was perfect - we loved sitting outside and watching the sunrise across Funchal. It was super peaceful but also very close to local restaurants and a supermarket. Everything was exactly as described and we will certainly be back!
