Apartment holiday rentals in Madeira Island

We had a lovely stay in the Barreiros neighbourhood of Funchal. As others have mentioned, the check in process is exceptionally smooth, with our host waiting for us on the road at the entrance to the apartment. Great to have a secure parking spot - it’s tight to park, but once you know to reverse in from the garage entrance it’s actually fine. Apartment has everything you need for a medium/long stay - dishwasher, washing facilities, all kitchen equipment was excellent. Would recommend.

The location and apartment suited us very well: right next to the beach with a lovely pool and view, quiet but easily accessible from the aerobus; and with other bus routes and shops within walking distance, as well as the seaside promenade. Rui Miguel really made an effort to provide all sorts of useful info at relevant times, and was always very responsive and friendly. We had a very pleasant experience.

We spent 11 days in the apartment, it is very well equipped, comfortable and pleasant, and ideally located for visiting the island (car needed, easy street parking). Cesarina is a very welcoming hotel, responsive to messages, and offers documentation of the island in several languages, appreciated. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Arsenia's place was perfect for 4 people, I recommend it! The view is beautiful 😊 Arsenia responds quickly to message. Small things to know: - It's really cold in the evening in the accommodation despite the small space heater. - Arsenia asks for taxes of €2 per person per night to be added on site. - you have to park on the street. It's a bit of a hassle but it's possible.

We had a fantastic stay. Julie is very kind and accommodating. She allowed us to check in and out outside the regular times. The apartment is beautifully located, offering a stunning view of the sea and the city. Thank you really much Julie!

Alexandro was extremely responsive regarding the check-in procedure and on arrival was waiting at the entrance. He then proceeded to show us the apartment and also the car space in the basement. He kept in contact with us during our stay and recommended places to visit and eat. Having been to the area before we knew exactly where the apartment was located. Although building work was being undertaken nearby this did not affect our enjoyment.

Good accommodation in Madeira, very good value for the price. Located in Camara de Lobos, very nice area (it is advisable to have a car, area of many slopes). Very close to Funchal, 15 min drive. The apartment is just like the photos, very clean and tidy. The only catch I would put is that there is some noise because the front door has a grille-shaped part through which air and noise comes in, but it is fixed by closing the door to the main room. Eugenia is very attentive. Highly recommended accommodation!

Amazing place in a great location with a stunning view. Place is also very clean and pleasant to be in, Tiago was a great host and helpful throughout. When I come back to Madeira I will definitely be staying here!

This place is in an ideal location. Walkable distance to the ocean, local groceries and stores. Sunny all day long. The apartment has everything that you could possibly need. The beds are comfortable. We loved it. Passos is extremely helpful and nice to deal with. Very accommodating. Highly recommend! Thank you, Alonso.

We loved absolutely everything about this place - very well thought space! The views were amazing!

It was our second time in Madeira, after 5 years, and the second time in Leandro's apartment. Madeira is a real treasure and accomodation in this place makes visiting it's marvelous places easier. Contact with Leandro is very, very smooth. Apartment is big and in reality offers all described facilities. We had some problems with our travel home due to TAP's change of our flights and Leandro helped us a lot enabling later check-out. Thank you. It was also very nice to meet again and have a conversation with Leandro's mother, Dona Lourdes. On our way back home, surrounded by nasty wet snow, dark clouds, naked trees, cold and windy weather I already start to feel saudade and strong will to come back again in the future Ate a proxima

Very pleasant stay, totally recommended

Very nice and fully equipped apartment (kitchen equipment, bath linen, tour guides,...). Quiet with a large terrace enjoying a magnificent sea view, little lively village but still with a few restaurants and bars, ideally located for visiting Madeira. Nelson was very responsive during our exchanges. to visit without hesitation

Nice apartment in a perfect location! Close to everything. Only downside is that the bar next door could be a little bit noisy, so bring earplugs. would recommend to stay here

It was our second stay in Fatima's apartment and we were once again very satisfied. The view is spectacular and the apartment has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped to do some cooking. Also, the restaurant at Paleihro Golf nearby is really good and closeby - if you have a car. Fatima is quick to answer any questions. Thank you for another lovely stay!

We had a very nice stay in Adriana's apartment. It felt like we were the first. Clean and cozy, modernly furnished. The location is great and the amenities except for a dishwasher perfect. The only personal preferences would be softer mattresses. We also always found a parking space in front of the apartment. The pool is also great for relaxing after a trip. Thank you. We will be happy to come back.

Had a wonderful stay at José and Maria’s apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean and fresh, large and spacious and had everything you could need. The location was brilliant with a bus stop right outside for easy access to the town and stunning views from the balcony. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Kitchen Good equiped, everything you´ll need. Only the pans should be better stainless. Living Area Super comfy with table seating six, ample sitting space on sofa and chairs as well Bedrooms Super comfy beds, as it is often the case only one bed sheet for both sides. The desk is great but designed for people of less then 1.8m height. Bath Hot water, great shower, good bathtub. Parking garage Compared to lots of other buildings very spacious and easy in and out Pool area Unheated but quite warm pool, very nice area surrounding it. Small playground with some exercise equipment for sports as well. Surroundings Good location which is super quiet at night for Funchal standards, during the day some noise from the school and sport hall. Didn´t disturb me at all even when I did work remotely. Other Wifi was top notch, TV big and HDMI cable was available, AC was great, cleaning was superb and communication with hosts was hasslefree, easy and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Ago’s apartment. Great location, beautiful scenery and was very kind to let us check in early. We really enjoyed every minute of Madeira!

We had a brilliant time at Lauren's place. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. In particular the kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the welcome bottle of wine was very thoughtful. It is close to the supermarket and easy to get into the city on the bus. It was also easy to explore other areas of the island with a rental car. Would definitely recommend ☺️
