Perfect spot for a longer stay in Chania. The beach is very close and so is the old town and other nice beaches on the west. Alkis was an extremely helpful host so would recommend him and all his listings.

We spent a week in George's apartment with a toddler and had a great time. We read about the sea view and ocean sounds in the reviews before, but our expectations were surpassed. Just wonderful! The beach bar in the building made the beach vacation perfect for us.

Beautiful views, quiet, everything within walking distance, decorated with attention to detail. Very sweet hosts: nice honey, jam, cheese, butter and eggs, pomegranate, coffee, tea, drink, good tips for resto, bar, beach,...Fantastic terrace and separate patio at entrance. Recommended!

The place was definitely worth it. It is an Airbnb in the "hotel style": there is a reception desk with the wonderful Maria, who knows a solution for everything (thank you for that). There is a super diligent cleaning crew. Otherwise, you have your "own" small apartment with so loving and detailed equipment that you really feel at home. Our bed was soooooo comfortable that we could sleep for a long time every day and the absolute game changer for us was the washing machine. The Airbnb is a little outside, we had unfortunately not rented a car and therefore traveled a lot on foot. As a result, we met many restaurants and cafes where the locals are staying instead of just "tourists" around us. We will definitely be back ❤️ by vehicle :) Thank you for everything. Panagiotis was very kind and informative. We felt very comfortable, the room corresponded to the description and pictures. A former hotel modernly implemented and interpreted.

The appartment was as at the photos Spyros has upload at the listing with everything needed even for a family with a little kid. Spyros was very responsive and helpful on whatever we asked for. Regarding the location, Nea Chora is the best neighborhood at Chania if someone needs to be close in walking distance to the city center and old harbor and needless to have a car to move around.

Excellent stay at Manolis. The residence is beautiful, peaceful, well laid out. Access to a shared rooftop with sea view to eat or chill. Balcony above the pool. The accommodation is a 10min drive from Rethymno. Easy to access and to park (which is not the case with the Rethymno!). Beautiful place to discover Rethymno and its surroundings and the southern beaches at 40min. We recommend eyes closed and will be happy to come back. And Manolis is so kind that it's hard to leave.

Great apartment in a quiet area, but a minute's walk from the sea and an area with many bars overlooking the sea. 10 minutes from the old town. Apartment with small terrace with excellent sea view (2 chairs and coffee table), pleasant especially at night and in the morning. Another very large covered terrace with a tent, which is also equipped with a barbecue. The apartment looks good with all comforts. Practical and pleasant stay. Host punctual in responses and suggestions. Very appreciated. Car parking available on the neighboring streets but always a maximum of 2 minutes from the apartment. We 4 of us (two adults and two children) had a great time taking advantage of the large space available.

We stayed for 9 days in a beautiful apartment, very clean and very equipped. The apartment is about 10/15 minutes from the center of Chania, in front of a supermarket and in our opinion, it is at the right distance from all the most beautiful beaches (1.45 h max). The order, cleanliness and equipment of the apartment allowed us to live our stay to the fullest! I would like to reserve a special thank you to the very cute Chrysoula. She was very kind, sociable and available to answer all our questions. She was the first person in the place we met and she really warmed our hearts to meet her... thank you! We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

Everything worked out very well. The technology and condition in the apartment were also impeccable. Britta greeted us personally with her husband and showed us everything in the apartment. She had sent us some links to restaurants and breakfast cafes in advance. These were very helpful The area also seemed to be safe and on Wednesdays there is a weekly market at the doorstep. The way to the city was very easy and easy to master. Excursions such as Balos Beach, Kourtaliotis Gorge, Lake Kournas and Elafonissi beach were also easily accessible by car. If we vacation in Chania again, we would love to stay with Britta again.

The place is beautiful and cozy just like the pictures! Just be aware that the stairs to acces the apartment and the second floor are narrow and steep. Manos’ recomendations of restaurants were very good.

My husband and myself had stayed a week in September 2024 in Chrysa’s apartment. We absolutely recommend it, it was a true five star experience. The apartment is beautiful, well furnished (not only standard IKEA-like funuture) it has absolutely everything in it. It is comfortable, large, bright and in a nice and walkable position for Rethymno (about 15 minutes to the city center and the main beach). Also, it was spotless clean. We really enjoyed the terrace. Chrysa gave us some good hints for restaurants and bars. Also, she was extremely helpful when I unfortunately had some health problems and needed an ambulance. If there were six stars, I would give 6 stars to Chrysa as a host.

When we arrived at the apartment, we were greeted by Katerinas father who showed us everything in the apartment and the surrounding with the whirlpool and the garden. This was already a fantastic beginning. In the apartment we were greeted by a homemade frittata and tons of fresh fruit. We had trouble to do eat all of this. The provided ground coffee and all the other things in the fridge including a bottle of wine and Raki was making us smile and feel like at home. Even in the washing machine there were some washing pods provided. Wow! We had a really good time and we got a lot of good support from Katerina and her family (super sweet). We liked that we were allowed to separate the waste for recycling, we do the same at home and this is needed everywhere in the world. The apartment was more than spacious enough for us two and the outside sitting possibilities were used a lot for our breakfasts.

We had the pleasure of staying one night in this corner of paradise and it was wonderful. Kostas is super, he has given us all the instructions to enter already from the moment of booking and has always been within reach by phone for any information or assistance, with response times of seconds! In other words, the place is wonderful to unwind and relax surrounded by nature and comfort. Perfect cleanliness, we felt at home and returned regenerated. Next time we'll have more days! We spent our anniversary in this private place, and it was a fantastic experience! Dimitrious was phenomenal-very responsive and provided all the information we needed for a smooth arrival. His helpful tips on restaurants around were fantastics. The place itself was cozy, beautifully-designed, and very clean. It was really nice to be able to enjoy a private heated pool.

The home is just like the photos and the views are unreal. Maria was a wonderful host. However we didn’t realize that the city would be completely closed during the off season (close by restaurants and shops). Maria made arrangements to get us groceries for a couple night stay and we felt very cared for. What a beautiful area! For disabled or elderly guests this may be hard as it has two flights of stairs to get to the apartment/kitchen/bedrooms and two short flights to the roof area. Book it!

Everything was excellent. The nearby hotel that works with this AirBnb was very helpful. It’s good to remember that the second room is more of a nook with two sofas that could be used as beds and that if you want to use the toilet you would have to walk through the other persons room. Great for a family, even better for a couple. The jacuzzi and mural out back were lovely.
