Cottage holiday rentals in Mallaig

Just spent the weekend at this quaint and pristine cottage! It exceeded expectations. It had all the amenities that were listed including fresh cleaning supplies, smart TV, hairdryer, kitchen supplies, etc. Fresh and clean towels and linen provided. Hot tub was set up for us on arrival with a beautiful view over the loch and plenty of wood for both the hot tub and wood stove. Easy to follow directions for lighting both wood stoves. Would highly recommend to this beautiful location, will definitely be visiting again!

Our stay at the cottage was fabulous. Gorgeous location with lots of lovely walks. The cottage was immaculate, impeccably designed with all of your home comforts. A really perfect, cosy space. Will definitely be back.

This was my third stay here and won’t be the last, everything you will need for a stay is provided, host is excellent and very responsive, just a short drive away from Edinburgh and Glasgow so good and central for exploring.

Had an amazing stay, would 100% rebook for another stay. Cottage was absolutely spotless, hot tub was also immaculate and one of the best we have been to. Was surprised there was no TV but it didn't bother us at all as we were there for a good catch up and spent most of our time in the hot tub.

One of my favorites getaways spent with my loved one. this property was a perfect private getaway for us. Ross was extremely helpful and responsive.

This was our second time staying at Eva’s place and we just loved it. Cosy cottage with a great wood-fired hot tub. A secure garden and also a stones throw from the beach made it a great location for our kids and our dogs! Friendly local pub right outside the door and fantastic restaurant Crofters a couple minutes walk away. Also only 15 minutes walk to Fortrose for more eating out options, takeaway and gift shops. Loads to do nearby. Would highly recommend.

Lovely house in beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We all enjoyed the hot tub and pool as well as surrounding countryside and trip into Glasgow. Very cosy and comfortable house. Thoroughly recommend

Brett's cottage is outstanding. The surroundings were tranquil. wish I had the time to explore more whilst staying in the cottage as Shandwick was so lovely. Would recommend this little piece of serenity to anyone looking to explore the north Highlands.

We absolutely adored our stay here. It was very comfortable and cozy, felt like home instantly. Walking distance to a wonderful restaurant that had been recommended. Mairi met us and was very welcoming and showed us around the property. Great amenities, very accurate description of property given. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you for having us!

we love visiting Aviemore, and this cottage was a perfect base for our adventures this year. plenty of space, and enclosed garden for our dog to explore.

We had a lovely stay at Rowan Cottage. It’s very close to Aviemore and the surrounding villages, but still maintains its charm and peacefulness. The cottage is surrounded by breathtaking landscape and an infinite number of walks to enjoy. The cottage itself was warm, cosy and very welcoming. It has all of the amenities you could need! We felt right at home within minutes of arriving. If you’re staying with a dog that doesn’t have great recall (like ours) I’d recommend taking a longline as the garden is not enclosed and some cars do pass quite quickly (although this shouldn’t come as a surprise as it’s mentioned in Cats listing). The rest of the cottage is very doggie friendly and the hosts even left out a blanket and bowls. We would recommend Rowan Cottage to anyone visiting the Cairngorms.

We had a great stay despite the very rainy February weather. The cottage was comfy and cosy (we made the most of the woodburner!), with wildlife and mountain views from every window. Such a treat to watch red squirrels just outside the kitchen window and see just about every kind of garden bird - plus the chickens, Jethro the goose and Milly and Fergus the friendly dogs :) Tim and Judy were brilliant hosts - hopefully we'll be back soon!

Have stayed in cottage several times, love it. Had a great catch up with old workmates in very cosy setting.

Cullaird cottage is a cosy and relaxed place to stay - lovely and warm with beautiful views from all around. We really enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. A lovely wood to walk the dog just behind the cottage and just down the road from the shores of Loch Ness.

We were visiting family so the location was perfect. Being right on the high street close to all amenities that we needed. Host was quick to respond and kept us up to date with check in and out. Thank you we would definitely stay again

Ann and Colin were wonderful hosts, very quick at communicating. The accommodation was exactly as described and in a great location.

This cottage was exactly what I was hoping for. They thought of all the most important touches to make it cosy and like a home away from home. Hosts were responsive and even thought of small touches that made us feel so welcome. The views in the area were stunning and all the recommendations for food and things to do were on point. My time in the UK is over soon but I might have to make one more trip before I leave. It was just that restorative!

We had a fantastic break away to bring in the bells and celebrate our first new year together along with our doggos Ruby & Stella… the cottage was stunning and is in such a beautiful location with views overlooking Loch Tay and the surrounding mountains! Perfect for couples who want to relax and unwind. Olive was a great host and nothing was too much trouble! 10/10 - we will definitely be back again and will recommend to everyone! 1st time staying at Islay Cottage, the cottage is very quaint set in beautiful surroundings with a waterfall not 1 minute down the road. The cottage was immaculate and well presented, our favourite bit was the log burner. We shall definitely be back again in the next couple of months. Our second stay of the year at this exquisite wee cottage, this time surrounded by the beauty of autumn. The cottage has everything you need, thoughtfully arranged. Owner Briony is friendly and helpful. Perfect, quiet location with so many gorgeous walks nearby. Ate at Andersons in Boat of Garten, recommended. Will definitely return again to Sycamore cottage.
