Holiday rentals in Mangawhai

Sue has created such a welcoming, cleverly designed and decorated space. We loved it. It was within walking distance to a swimmable beach and a short drive to several others, if needing more shelter. The studio is as described, so no unpleasant surprises. The driveway is very steep so if concerned about car, then park it at the bottom on the quiet road. If we can, we will return, particularly in the summer months. Thank you Sue snd Eli. 😊

Thank you for a lovely stay, we appreciated being able to book for just a night as many places required two night stay. Beautiful home in lovely surroundings, everything we needed was available, especially helpful to do some clothes washing!

It was my first family holiday since 2017. The AirBnB was a new experience for me, but the hosts were respectful and their place was wonderful! I was able to bring our 2 x dogs which was great and I took them for a walk every morning, greeting others with their dogs on the way. My adult children loved being able to hang out at the beach and sit in the hot tub or use the kayaks on offer. My husband unfortunately worked every day but was able to enjoy to peace and quiet at night. Having a washing machine was practical and saved my workload when we returned home. We visited Charlies Gelato which was yum and I was able to purchase some beautiful wine from Brick Bay vineyard. Matakana was disappointing it felt like Auckland with long lines of traffic and expensive products however, the lady at Honest Chocolate was lovely. We fished off Scotts Landing and caught 5 legal snapper. All in all, I would highly recommend this AirBnB, absolutely the best holiday in a very long time. Thank you.

Kathryn’s place was amazing! We loved our stay. I couldn’t believe how well stocked it was. Everything we needed was there. It was extremely comfortable. The hospitality was so welcoming and we felt right at home. The view and the serenity take the cake though. Not often you get ocean, mountains, pastures, cows etc all at one place. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Russell and Michelle's place. The space had everything we needed and more. Beautiful location and spotlessly clean. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Fantastic location by a beautiful beach with restaurants close by. Very clean and modern with all the amenities required. Private and quiet, very relaxing. Great hosts, friendly and helpful.
