We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place in this area!

We enjoyed the apartment and found the location to be great for visiting different parts of Point Reyes National Seashore and getting in to Point Reyes Station to eat out. It was clean, quiet, as described and was perfect for our needs (two adults). If you're coming is summer and like to sleep in, bring an eye mask because there are no window coverings. The kitchen was great but if you plan on doing a lot of cooking, note that the fridge is small and you'll need to bring all the little staples like oil and spices. There is everything you need for full cooking and a dishwasher so it's perfect if you like to prepare your own meals and plan accordingly. Great place and recommended.

I rented this for family from Australia coming to town. They stayed there and were in love with the place. It was a gorgeous and a unique to them accommodation (floating home) as well as private and quiet. It was easy to arrange with Chris/Gretchen. They allowed special arrangements. We left a Welcome Basket so it was waiting for our family upon arrival. That was a simple but lovely touch.

It’s a great location and space for two couples. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and tasting rooms plus endless options within a 30-minute drive. We love the space and will return again soon!

Very comfortable and cozy. It was very private and quiet. There was minimal noise. The place had everything you needed and was close by to restaurants, shops, and more. I recovered from a surgery and it was perfectly fine for me!

Place is pretty and clean, located close to hwy 101. Lu was fast, responding to all my messages. Lu provided me a keycode to easily get in and out of the place. There are two bedrooms that share a bathroom located between them. There is a TV in the living room, but no TVs in either bedrooms. You must park your car on another street, all the way down the hill, and be ready to trek each way, everyday you are staying over. There is a shoulder on the road, leading past the home, that you may temporarily park your car for loading and unloading purposes. Kitchen sink, spa, sauna, and washer & dryer are all located in common shared areas that are also accessible to Lu, Lara, and their 3rd floor tenant. There were enough kitchen ware and bathroom/bath supplies to host a small party, if you want to.

If you want peaceful surroundings and an easy commute to SF and Muir Woods, stay here. We came for the weekend, easy drive from SFO. Thankful for the instructive direction as it was late at night. Very easy to get settled in. Exactly as portrayed in the pictures and had everything we needed. A great binder put together with local restaurants, tips, etc. Host was very responsive. We were running late the morning of our Muir Woods reservations, if we hadn’t stayed so close we would have missed our window. And so easy to get in and out of the city, though if you don’t like paying the Golden Gate toll, you need to consider Absolutely loved this place and would highly recommend.

First time staying in a houseboat and it was absolutely beautiful for our Valentine’s Day romantic getaway. Loved the private deck and watching the tour seaplane and helicopter nearby take off/land. Bed was very comfy and the studio itself is just very cozy. Only a few minutes from Sausalito and 30 minutes from San Fran, we loved getting around and exploring. Harold was very responsive, allowed us to enjoy the deck as we arrived earlier than planned and provided great instructions for arrival, check in and check out. Highly recommend his place :)

Wonderful home, beautifully presented in a private setting. the location is close to everything, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sonoma.

The place was exactly like the picture showed. The house has lots of space very comfortable. We enjoy so much the playroom and it’s huge. The location of the house was fantastic right in the center of everything. Very well equipped kitchen and the beds was superb. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Great place for girls trip getaway! Beautiful views! Easy in hot tub was wonderful and it was heated and ready to be used upon arrival! Well stocked kitchen for all your needs! Excellent heat for cold days and nights. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is a beautiful. We loved how much natural light streamed into the home and how open/airy it was. The sauna was certainly and added bonus. Would stay here again for sure.

We had a wonderful time! There were seven of us total, and we had plenty of space in this home. The home was larger than I expected, which was really nice. Beautiful views of the ocean and we enjoyed watching the sunset every evening! We will definitely be back

My husband and I traveled from our home in Hawaii so he could have spinal surgery near San Rafael. We needed a place to be quiet and recuperate afterwards, and Alex’s place was a godsend. Alex was incredibly helpful and responsive, we felt so welcome. The place is beautiful and comfortable. It was important to me to be able to cook nourishing meals, and the kitchen was top notch. We loved their books and the easy homey-ness of the place. The Thursday and Sunday farmer’s market down the street is a great bonus. I can highly recommend this place. Thank you, Alex!

I initially booked this Airbnb for a week but ended up extending for a long stay, which speaks volumes about how wonderful my experience was. Jay and Crystal are incredible hosts—warm, welcoming, and always considerate. They truly make you feel at home. The apartment is beautifully designed, with easy access to common areas like the kitchen, dining room, and sitting room. The room itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and having an in-room fridge was a great convenience. The bed was super comfortable with the softest linens, making every night’s sleep a delight. The house is filled with stunning artwork, and the surrounding area offers breathtaking views and peaceful nature—perfect for relaxation. Overall environment is both cozy and elegant. I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough! Whether for a short visit or an extended stay, you’ll feel right at home with these kind and generous hosts. We loved staying at Gillian’s place. Beautiful unit with great appliances, fixtures and amenities. Well stocked kitchen and spacious living space. I liked the little office nook where I could work, and also the nice multi layered deck. We were within 10-15 of downtown mill valley and there were plenty of food options downtown and close by, including the charming lumber mill development. Very easy check in with clear instructions, great host and lovely place. We have family in Mill Valley and will look to book her place again in the future when we visit them!

A beautiful location and the home has beautiful views. Pete was responsive and worked it out so we could check in early enough to get ready for an afternoon wedding. Excellent selection of family games that we enjoyed. I highly recommend the location and the home!!
