Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Massanutten

it was a nice cozy stay with an awesome air hockey table. they communicated very well.

This home was absolutely beautiful, pictures truly do not do it justice. It was very cozy, with a spectacular view of the mountains. The house was clean, and the host, Beth was very responsive, and even reached out to us, warning us of inclement weather. The host truly thought of everything to make the stay the best it could be, all drawers were labeled with utensils, there was firewood cut, stacked ready for the guest to use, and evening an outdoor heater to warm up the garage to play games. We will definitely be back!

The setting of the home was breathtaking!!! The mountain was beautiful and the open patio was perfect to see the moon and stars at night! We were thinking there was too little light on the patio when we arrived but we know now it’s intentional. The home was spacious and had everything we could have needed. Hot tub was amazing and we can’t wait to return to Lost City!!

We are a group of 6 hikers (3 couples) so we come to Shenandoah National Park frequently. We have been at a number of houses in the area and this one is our favorite. Beautiful spacious home, well equipped with everything. We loved the back area- the firepit and the hot tub was at a perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable, the house was spotless. We walked into Luray each day and had a glass of wine at Cork and had some beer at Hawksbill Brewery. Just a lovely stay. And Chasidy was very responsive and helpful. We will absolutely be back!

Stephanie’s Place was a great experience. Clean and offered lots of space. Would return.

Joi hosted us in a beautiful spacious private home. We loved spending time outdoors, where there was a hot tub and a pickleball court! The garage was another place we spent most of our time. There was plenty beds for our group and the bed room at the very top of the house is a neat lookout. We walked to the winery nearby and the drinks, the food, and customer service was fantastic. We would book with Joi again in the future.

What a lovely place to relax before/after some quality time on the trails. Nicely decorated, and welcoming. Grateful for the super convenient access to the gorgeous mountains and such thoughtful hosts. Thanks again!

We enjoyed staying at Kirsten's and Chris's. The place was easy to find, super clean, and very comfortable. Kirsten and Chris responded within minutes whenever we communicated with them. We had to leave a day early due to a snowstorm, so they refunded us for most of the second night of our booking. Wonderful experience!

Great space for the entire family and friends to gather and enjoy quality time with each other. We loved having two kitchens to cook and the lower bedroom area was perfect spot to keep and have easy access to the outside where we could let the dogs roam. Plenty of activities in the home and bars/restraunts are within walking distance. Slopes were a 13min drive which was great after a long day snowboarding. Loved the at-home feeling and decor- we would absolutely visit again. Hosts were very accommodating to our needs and responsive. You will fall in love with this home!

Jennifer was a great host. She recommended a few restaurants in the area, the place was spotless and a beautiful area. We walked out the door in the morning and there were about 10 deer in the field to greet us.

We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

Jen’s place is perfect for an escape from the public, while close enough to Shenandoah and Charlottesville and Culpeper for adventures. She was extremely attentive and responsive, making us feel welcome from the start. Would recommend to anyone.

This apartment was lovely - larger than we thought! The parking was easy and location was perfect. Close to Shenandoah and in the middle of the historic town center - walking distance to a few shops and places to eat. Everything was clean and the hosts kindly left lots of snacks and even a Valentine's gift bag. We would definitely come back!

Paula’s place is just as described - spacious and welcoming! Very clean and has everything you would need during your stay. Easy to find and 10mins from JMU (we were there to visit with our son). Paula is a very friendly and responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome place!

We stayed at the cabin for a 4 days and 3 nights for a ladies retreat that we do annually in different cities. Sherilynn made the process pretty seamless. The place is so cozy and warm, feels like home. We went to the national park and hiked a waterfall trail (dark hollow) then went to see the caverns not far from it. After that we went to the wineries nearby to try some local wines and have bunch. Was easy to cook and use the outdoor fire pit when it was dry out. We loved visiting the creek to have our coffee in the mornings. Would've been nice to stay longer or try out the cabin in the summer. Only thing I was worried about on the way to the cabin are the 7 little bridges over the creek one has to cross on the way in and out of the neighborhood (so to speak). We tried to come in before nightfall each night. All in all, had a wonderful time and loved our trip and our stay in Elkton.

We had an excellent time at the Pond View yurt! The property was very well maintained with a spectacular view, clean and modern amenities (hot water + bath tub), and a fully equipped kitchen. We had no trouble entering the private building, and were impressed by the clean lines of the rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms. In the morning we made a camp fire with freshly ground coffee overlooking the mist shrouded mountain. Douglas provided clear and concise instructions and was very responsive and proactive. We are already making plans for our next visit - this time with another couple. One of the best places we’ve found - 10/10!

We had an incredible time unplugging at Ragged Rock Ridge. There are very few views in the world like this one, especially with snow on the mountain. We spent hours hiking the property with our teens and dogs…then a curl up in front of the fire. Jeri was super responsive and kept us updated on the weather conditions. And William did the really challenging work of keeping the driveway safe. Can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed the cozy cottage. The surrandings were beautiful. The hot tub was a great addition. Nice size and very clean. The cottage is a great place for a family get away. I will return. Thankyou so much for wverything.

We stayed here for a few days and it was a wonderful weekend! The Sauna was incredible, the bed was very comfortable, the fire place was so nice, and the back deck was lovely. The location, the home, and the helpful host were amazing, You should stay here if you're going to be in and around Luray VA.

Loved our stay at this cabin. It was well stocked. Highly recommend. Great location.

We absolutely loved our stay here; it was so cozy, so quaint, and so homey. It was everything we could’ve wanted wrapped up in a tiny triangle. The only “negative” aspect of our stay was that the Internet went out for about 12 hours, but there were so many things to do at the house, that we didn’t even mind! We built a fire, played games, and read our books. It was just lovely.
