Although small our place is cozy, with a comfortable bed, wifi & Netflix, cooking facilities and utensils, with all the views of the Kaimai that one could want. A peaceful getaway - not completely shunned from society but, just enough to de-stress and relax. Feeling keen enough to brave the night? Beautiful 1 bedroom stand alone cottage that can sleep 4. A private oasis on a rural property surrounded by trees with views of rolling paddocks and farm animals. Full kitchen with all you need. Or a short drive to town will serve you with plenty of local eateries and takeaway options. One spacious bedroom with a queen bed and access to the deck. With the Te Miro Woolshed just a 2 minute drive away this is the perfect accomodation for guest attending weddings. Close to Hobbiton. Te Miro mountain bike park just 3kms down the road. Also perfect for anyone attending events at Lake Karapiro with the Lake side being just 12 minutes away. 14 minutes to the centre of Cambridge and 30 minutes to Mystery Creek.

Welcome to our self contained Cottage. We offer a studio room located in a Rural setting on a Thoroughbred horse farm with views of the Kaimai Range. Being approximately 5mins drive from Matamata gives you the best of being in the Country and close to a Rural Town offering you excellent Restaurants, Cafes and Shops. We are also about 15mins drive from the film location of Hobbiton. With great views of the Kaimai Ranges you are also 30-40mins drive from Tauranga and Mount Maunganui.

The cottage overlooks the farm, with a deck in the backyard, lemon tree and view of farm animals. (We breed horse and cattle) We’re a mere 6km drive from the centre of Cambridge and are right off the Waikato Expressway, making this the ideal location for your Waikato adventures. The Velodrome is just down the road which takes you past a great cafe and garden centre and Karapiro Domain is only 14km away. There are bike paths nearby as an alternative way to explore as well.

A Place in the Paddock

This properties entrance is on the Hauraki Cycle Trail, only 2.5 km from town. The cottage is surrounded by farm land. You will have exclusive use of this 3 bedroom country home which easily accommodates 7 people. An 11 minute drive to the sensational Wairere Falls bush walk . 17 minutes to Hobbiton Movie set . Has foam mattresses for groups up to 11 as well as a portacot. Please be aware of electric fences on driveway( but not near house surroundings )

Country cabin escape perfect star gazing + biking!

Escape to the country at our self-contained cabin with lovely mountain & country views at the base of the Kaimai Ranges. Close to Wairere Falls (7 min drive), Hobbiton Tour from Matamata (28 min drive) & 3 mins ride to cycle trail! Central to Rotorua, Waitomo, Coromandel Peninsula and Auckland.
