Holiday rentals with a patio in Matavera District

What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. Thank you for an incredible stay! Maire was so helpful and kind, checking in on us throughout our stay and giving us extra towels / pillows etc. The studio is spotless with a great full kitchen and huge shower and speedy unlimited WiFi ! Maire left us delicious fresh fruit and made us feel so welcome 🥰 thank you!

Tere was a fantastic host and made us feel at home. He kindly drove us to the supermarket on arrival to pick up groceries and also drove us to the start of the Cross Island Trek. His local information and guidance enabled us to enjoy our stay.

Loved our stay at Muri Retreat. Simon was super helpful with organising transport and was happy to help with any questions.

The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach. The host is amazing, and the villa is beautiful x

Just came back from Raro with my husband and teen daughter. Tara's place was exactly as described, beautiful surroundings, a short walk from the beach, bars, convenience store and night market. The unit offered 2 ensuite bedrooms which was perfect for my daughter. The views are splendid. We used the pool a few times and it was a nice place to chill after coming from the beach or a day out. The place offered everything we needed and Tara was very generous allowing us to check in a bit earlier. Great communication, simple instructions, all you need when you go to a new place where you are not familiar with anything. She also organised our transfers to/fro airport and made our stay a breeze. The car was a great plus and allowed us to come and go freely. Communication with Joy was also amazing during our stay, checking in with us if we needed anything. Highly recommend Tara's place. It made our stay a breeze, like the overall vibe of Raro. Thanks Tara, we'll come back soon :)

I had a great stay at Lynn's place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The space was beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Lynn was fantastic, providing clear communication and helpful recommendations for local dining and activities. I especially loved the aircon in the room, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The house was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable, pillows perfect and we all slept well. Location was brilliant, yes we had to cross a road to get to the beach but it was well worth it. Amazing beach location, not too windy. The pool was well used, may need a little maintenance (few missing tiles) but as a group of adults that didn’t bother us at all. Internet worked perfectly, water pressure was great! We didn’t use the lounge / Kitchen facilities really but if you want to cool and eat in everything is there. 10/10 from us! Family of 4: 2 adults and 2 x 17 year old boys.

We loved staying at Dawn and Orlando's and will be recommending their place to friends and family. The photos reflect their modern home with great amenities. The house is away from the traffic on the main road and is just a short walk from a beautiful beach on a quieter part of the Island. There is a little bit of noise from neighbors animals including roosters and dogs, but we got used to that, and it is all part of the Rarotonga experience. Dawn and Orlando were very helpful and easy to communicate with.

This place is way better than the pics show! Tia has simple instructions and allowed us to book on the day as we were looking for somewhere else to stay! Such a great host! The VIEW as soon as you open the door was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The pics just do not do this place justice! It is so magically beautiful! The large deck allows the whole family to spend time together and there are Kayaks and BBQ and snorkels that you can use on the beach just down the stairs of the deck! There are outdoor showers to clean sand as you come up to the deck. The kitchen and rooms are large open spaces really great for families! The bathroom has access from outside and inside! Overall this place is amazing!! Thank you Tia for hosting us!

Such an awesome place to stay situated inland if you’re looking to get away from the main road but still close enough to the beach, local shops and town centre. Big front and backyard which is perfect if you have kids with a huge mango tree waiting to be picked. Rooms and living area was spacious. I definitely would come back here on my next trip and would recommend this home for anyone especially small families with kids or if you’re on a budget. The price is definitely worth it!!!

Thank you to the wonderful Malina! There was nothing that she wouldn’t and couldn’t do for you. Malina was extremely accomodating and helpful. There were no issues with communication, Malina was able to answer queries in a timely manner. Te Rama retreat is immaculate, quite central and close to everything that Rarotonga has to offer. I would totally recommend absolutely suitable for all sorts of groups, families. Totally beautiful and truly one of a kind. X

We had a wonderful stay at Amori Villa. The house is spacious, wonderfully decorated and well situated, with a short drive to a number of wonderful snorkelling beaches, town for groceries and anything else you could want. Our family absolutely loved our time here. Communication from the hosts was excellent and they were always eager to help and point us in the right direction. Thank you for an amazing stay! We hope to be back one day and would love to stay here again!

Tuaine was incredibly friendly and helpful. Home had everything needed for our family vacation and the location was amazing and as described. Happy to recommend this villa - beautiful setting with just a few steps from the deck to lagoon paradise! Wonderful holiday.

Thank you Teuira for a lovely stay! The house was stocked up with all the possible necessities that you may require. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of appliances and an abundance of kitchen ware. The facilities were clean and up to date. Some photos made the space look smaller, but it was very spacious and very clean. As mentioned cellular connection is limited. But a wifi hotspot works just fine and we had no issues browsing the web. Overall we would definitely recommend this spot.
