Holiday rentals in Maupiti Island

Maiana was very welcoming, as well as all her family members. We discover an authentic, simple and warm Polynesian atmosphere. There are several rented rooms and Maiana makes everyone feel good. The tour with Toa and Alice was amazing. It must be done. Thanks to the whole family. 🌺

Our stay on Maupiti was simply paradise. A big thank you to Mélodie and Nelson who welcomed us and escorted us throughout our stay. The rental was as described and spacious.

We had a great time staying with our hosts' house! I advise you to take the half board in addition because the kitchen is simply excellent! This family is exceptionally kind. We even had the chance to come across the day of the Tahitian oven (on Saturdays) with a trip to the lagoon to watch the rays to the sound of William's Yukulele. It was really getting closer to heaven. The Tahitian oven surrounded by all the island's pensions was a timeless moment. Big favorite for this family and for this island that has kept all its authenticity 😇 Thanks for everything!

I truly loved my stay! After walking one time around the island, I feel like this is the best location on the island. You get this crazy view over the lagoon (in fact most of the tourists stop right in front of the house to make their pictures) and you can also walk to the most beautiful beach of the "main island". The hosts are lovely and very kind and helpful. Please book including the dinner! There are not many options on the island and the food is delicious! Definitely ask for one of the two rooms with beach view, as the other two rooms do not have a window to the outside but only other parts of the house. But I am not even sure, if they still rent out these rooms... You will be leaving next door to the family, but they give you a lot of privacy. The hot shower at the end of the day was veeery nice. If you are in doubt, book it!! :)

This is a great place to stay on one of the most amazing islands in French Polynesia. The family is so warm and welcoming, the Polynesian friendliness is strong, and they have a beautiful location right at the water. There are shops and places to eat nearby, and nothing is really far on this island, so you are close to everything. Make sure to stay over a Saturday for the coral garden and Tahiti meal excursion with their cousin Poe and family, who are so much fun. And go for a dive with Maupiti diving to the cleaning station! I can only recommend staying for as long as you can on this amazing island.

I had an amazing time at Taupe and Mario. The motu with the campground is such a beautiful island surrounded by stunning nature and I really enjoyed the stay. Beautiful beaches to both sides (with a gorgeous sunset and sunrise), lots of fish in the shallow water near the beach, calm atmosphere, enough time to relax and for some activities like hiking up Mt. Teurafaatiu, exploring the main island or a tour to see manta, stingray, the coral reef and the colourful fish. There is a free shuttle with Taupe / Mario to the main island with all the shops in the morning (8.30) and in the afternoon (4.30). If you need other times or want to do a private (snorkeling) tour - just let them know. A possibility to cook for yourself and some more bungalows are in construction.

Moeata is very responsive and picks you up as soon as you arrive at the port. Apartment with kitchen,bathroom and shared terrace. Great location and moeata makes itself available whenever you need. Very good stay, I recommend it.

Lovely friendly hosts,ready to help on any issue. Special thanks for the transfer from the port. We rented a tent,but we were offered a private room in the house. It was very pleasant. The room is better than in the tent: a large comfortable bed with mosquito net and fast Wi-Fi. Breakfast was offered,which was also a pleasant surprise. Thank you for the warm welcome .
