Holiday rentals in McGregor

We absolutely loved our long-weekend in this beautiful, comfortable cottage. It felt 100% like "home" with all the little comforts - there was not a single thing we could have needed that was not there. The kitchen was a dream to work in and we very much appreciated the lovely quality wine glasses, crockery, cutlery and sharp knives! We played Scrabble at the beautiful big dining table in the kitchen and we were lucky to be able to eat dinner outside on the verandah every evening. I loved the outdoor shower too! We had a great time at François place. It is such a peaceful little village in the middle of nowhere with an amazing view to the mountains. If you want to escape the city life and connect back to nature this is the perfect place for it. They grow their own vegetables and you can also find some animals on the property. There are some trails to explore and also it is possible to reserve the Kolkol for one night and gaze at the mountains and the stars. Very special place built up with a lot of love.

Great place to unwind. Comfortable living area for socializing. Nice hiking in the area. Wonderful sunsets in the valley. Pool is a bit small and doors are not well secured for windy days.

What a beautiful setting being surrounded by orchads and the mountains. Great place to go to just switch off , relax and enjoy nature. Esti was a fantastic host and really accommodating.

What a lovely and comfortable home. Perfect location, right next to the nature reserve. Our kids enjoyed the swimming pool, the tree house and running around in the garden. Easy walk into town. The house has everything you need and the view is just amazing. We wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

Situated right on the edge of the Krans Nature Reserve in McGregor, this cottage has the most incredible views over the natural landscape surrounding this sleepy village. We arrived to a rainy afternoon, but by the next day the weather had cleared and we were able to open the doors that run all along the one side of the cottage to really take in the scenery. We came to attend the Love Life Festival - a wonderful initiative to bring art, theatre and film to McGregor - and will definitely book this spot again in future.

The place is quiet and nice, surrounded by mountains. It feels peaceful and relaxing. The stars at night look amazing. Marinke was kind and very helpful.

Comfort and elegance at its best! We had a lovely stay in Carla’s beautiful place and felt completely safe. Carla adds generosity to her place which makes it so much more special than any other place I’ve stayed at (fresh fruit, rusks, tea & coffee, bubbly etc).
