Holiday rentals with a fireplace in McLennan County

Great place to stay, good interior decor, all amenities worked perfectly, nice homely feel, easy communication with the hosts and I would definitely recommend it for a long term trip in Waco. 5 stars!

Erin’s home was beautiful, clean and comfortable! A very historic and interesting home. It was only a five minute drive to everything magnolia which was one of our biggest attractions during our short stay. Erin was more than helpful, quick to respond and even allowed us early check in to help us accommodate to our son‘s nap! The location is perfect and we felt extra safe with the gated fenced in yard. Our dogs and son loved the outdoor space!

I travel to Waco several times a year for work and stumbled upon Poppy and Rye - what a gem of a place this is. Don't think twice. Book today! Everything you could imagine - they've thought of it. So Many little things - complimentary bottle of wine, snacks and drinks in the fridge, coffee and tea. Amazing showers. Comfortable beds. Outdoor oasis. Great vibe inside and out. No long list of cleaning before you leave like so many air bnbs now. A true vacation. We will be back!

My husband's family is from Waco so we visit often. This time we met friends from FL - a family of 5 -- for a spring break adventure. This home & property were perfect for our gathering. Between the game room, climbing wall and goat feedingd, the kids had no time to get bored. It's on the outskirts of town so you get a real Texas country experience and peaceful, quiet nights while still being close to all Waco attractions. Very comfortable beds & couches. Well-stocked kitchen. Nice bathrooms. We loved everything about it!

This is a beautiful one of a kind place, the host put a lot of thought into making this pretty and fun! It was spacious, clean and great for 2 families. The instructions are clear, the place is very close to Magnolia market and all things Waco has to offer. We had a lot of fun celebrating MIL’s 75th birthday here. Things to note: there is no dishwasher in the kitchen and we had to hand wash dishes. And, the space in which daybed sits is a lot smaller than expected, so we had to re-arrange where everyone slept. These are not deterrents for us to stay here again but something to be mindful of. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a pinkalicious place for special celebrations.

The house was very nice! It had everything we needed and had lots of space for everyone. The neighborhood was pretty and felt very safe. Overall we had a great stay. The only negatives were the beds weren’t the most comfortable in the 2 extra rooms. Master bedroom was better. The fence in the backyard didn’t look secure enough for my dog to be let off the leash. It had several places with holes at the bottom she could’ve slipped through and the grass was pretty tall in the back. Otherwise it was a great house, great location, great host, and great stay! Definitely recommend staying here!

So close to everything! Beautiful house and everything you need! Upscale and fireplace is a nice touch!! I’d stay here again for sure !!!!!

One of the best Airbnb places we’ve stayed at (and we have stayed in quite a few over the last few years). Rochelle made sure we felt right at home. She was super responsive any time we had any questions and so extremely helpful. The home had all the amenities you could hope for and sweet extra touches that made it that much more special. It was a lovely location and everything was so peaceful. We would definitely stay there again and also recommend it to any friends and family traveling that way!
