Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mecosta County

We stay in airbnbs often. This was by far the best in all categories we have ever been. Response time was amazing, all amenities present and little to no thought was needed by us for what we needed. Everything from toilet paper, paper towels, coffee etc was present. We enjoyed every moment and created many precious memories with our family. It is obvious a lot of thought went into this space and even with little kids things were perfect! We felt safe and had plenty of space for the amount of people present. So welcoming and clean.

What a fantastic cottage right on the peaceful Chippewa river. A huge bonus was complimentary wood and starters for the firepit. Couldn't ask for a more relaxing place to sit by the fire, enjoy the river and nature. Lots of games and stuff to do as well. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

This place is peaceful, private and had an immediate feeling of relaxed. Plenty of seating, a river right out the back door, pre stocked extras like a coffee pot with grounds and powdered creamer. We want to book this home each time we return to this area

Very quiet surroundings. A beautiful home with plenty of space for our family R & R. The lower level space was great for those not wanting to watch March Madness basketball 😂 The provided linens, blankets, bath towels and hot tub towels made it feel like home. Kitchen area was perfect for cooking/eating in. Close enough to both Mt Pleasant and Big Rapids for light shopping, restaurants or groceries. Overall, a wonderful stay. We would definitely come back.

Host was very responsive to questions/needs as they came up. Was very accurate with description on property. Definitely would consider staying here again.

This was a great place in a great location for our family who had events to attend in nearby Big Rapids. As this was a winter trip can only imagine the house and the whole area would make for a fantastic holiday.

We had such a great time staying here! Amanda and her family were incredibly responsive and they expertly laid out everything for us - all activities, restaurants, anything we might have questions about were already answered for us. I would highly recommend this Stanwood retreat. I know my family is considering making it an annual tradition! Thanks for the hospitality!

Great location on the water! Not too far from town! Really great cottage! Kayaking to watch the sunset on the lake was beautiful!

This was an amazing stay. The place was incredibly pretty. We felt at home. Outside was gorgeous, it happened to snow while we were there and that was pretty. We will definitely be coming back again!

We had a very pleasant, relaxing stay at Becky’s cabin. Our grandkids played for hours on the nice beach. The cabin was very comfortable. The lake was very quiet and beautiful. Becky replied quickly and pleasantly to all my questions. All in all, it was an excellent vacation!

Cassaundra was helpful from start to finish with excellent instructions. A great place to feel like you're off the grid but had strong wifi and plenty of home comforts surrounded by an outdoor paradise.

The cottage was fitting for our two families. There was ample sleeping arrangements for everyone. We had fun with the games provided.

Some friends and I rented Maggie’s home for a quiet, reading weekend. It was perfect! It was very peaceful, had indoor and outdoor areas to read in and was just what we were looking for! I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back in the fall or winter to enjoy it even more. Very cozy!
