There have to be 2 parts to this review The place It was better than described. Very comfortable and very private. It has a lovely large balcony overlooking the bay of Naples and an interesting hillside. The shower room is very clean and has a powerful shower in a large cubicle. The castle grounds are fully available for guests and this includes the large pool. We were there too early in the season. But we may well return later in order to take advantage of all the beautiful and quiet outside space on offer. What we most enjoyed was the combination of being within minutes walk of excellent restaurants and coffee shops while the apartment was totally peaceful and in a tranquil setting. The host Maria is a lovely, engaged and attentive host. She sent us menus daily showing what the freshly prepared meals of the day were at the takeaway and her restaurant recommendations were perfect. Thank you so much for making our holiday special.

A big thank you to Cyntia and Guillaume for this wonderful weekend in the heart of their beautiful home. We had an unforgettable weekend with the family. We'll come back without hesitating. The house is perfectly sized for the number of beds. The little extras: The kitchen is not lacking anything in dishes, utensils, condiments, etc. All the baby equipment is very much appreciated: baby bed, changing table, bathtub and high chair. Everything is there to have a great time with family or friends. A big thank you!

I can’t say enough about this special place. If you have a chance to stay here - Do it! You won’t regret it. We arrived to Chiusi by train and rented a car. This is an easy 40 ish minute drive from the train station. We were greeted upon arrival and were shown the way to the villa. The property and grounds are breathtaking. The villa is spacious, well appointed, spotless, and comfortable. The five of us had plenty of space to relax. I love to cook and felt at home in the kitchen. It had what we needed to prepare food. The pool was a refreshing break from the very hot afternoons. Kaci and Antonio (and Marta) are wonderful hosts. They are responsive and eagerly helped us with plans and dinner reservations to include maps! From the Castel it is an easy drive to: Pienza (our favorite), Montepulciano, and Cortona. We even enjoyed some live outdoor music one evening. I could go on… Grazie mille, Antonio & Kaci.

The stay was really great, we also ate deliciously, only in the photos it looked like the space was bigger. And it wasn't. I had also selected in two bedrooms but it was 1 bedroom with 3 beds and 1 bathroom. So this was not as it was on the listing when we booked it. That's too bad. Otherwise, it was really great

Amazing place: spacious, well decorated, well-appointed , well-equipped. Great location: close to the main axes but completely secluded and quiet anyway. Awesome host: responsive, flexible, helpful, kind. Thank you again for the stay that seduced us all.

We want to thank Pat for her warm welcome to her castle. He is a passionate host who knows how to convey the history of his family home. The castle has an old-world charm that delighted us. Even with two nights we wished we could have stayed longer. Great stay.

Classic, fairytale stay in Tuscany in the heart of wine country. This place seemed too good to be true – it wasn’t. Combines what-its-like-to-live-in-Italy with European luxury and unique peek into how Italian families are preserving history in a storied land. Parts of this estate date to 1100 and the property has been in the family for many generations. You can see and feel the great care they take of their home and the deep pride they experience sharing it with their guests. Scrumptious interior as modern, luxury amenities embellish this of-the-ages castle -- massive stone fireplace, wood beam ceiling, entry door, handcrafted shutters, pressed-glass interior doors. Extremely private and tucked away, teaming with birds and wildlife. Being in the space was inspiring and of another era! If you get a chance to stay here, don’t pass it up. Next trip, I'm bringing all my friends and family to fill the place up to the top of the ramparts! Thank you Pietro and family for a fabulous stay.

We absolutely loved staying in the chateau, it was a little gem. Everything was perfect for our laze-by-the-pool holiday. Next time we'll bring our bikes though, so we can get our croissants without a car journey!!

Very good stay at Château de Bassignac. Sophie was very welcoming and responsive when needed.

I booked Chateau Lamothe for 11 guys for my 50th birthday celebration based on the fantastic reviews. We were not disappointed. Damien was very communicative and provided great recommendations for transport and private dining. The chateau is located about 30 min from the centre of Bordeaux in a beautifully wooded area. You feel immediately at peace upon driving up the tree-lined driveway. They provided a tour of the incredible limestone cellars beneath the chateau. The wines produced at the chateau are truly outstanding for the price. The Sauternes style and Prestige Cuvee bottles were my favorite. A 12th century church is a short walk away in the old bourg of Haux. Truly a magical place to spend a few amazing days in Bordeaux. I would highly recommend Chateau Lamothe to anybody visiting the Bordeaux region.

A wonderful stay. Maud was the local contact and extremely helpful and friendly to deal with. We loved the home and it was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The location is in a quaint small village. Perfect for a calm, quiet break. It’s a bit away from anything though so if you need groceries or want to go somewhere it’s at least 25minutes to do that. Overall still a wonderful visit

This place is completely magical and breathtaking. This was our honeymoon hideaway for a week and we absolutely loved staying here. This was probably the MOST AMAZING Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Ippolita was the nicest host and such a great person. All of the staff were friendly and so sweet as well. We loved staying here so much. We will definitely come back someday. All the animals on the property are so cute and nice too. We made great friends with all the donkeys and cats and dogs. The Abbey itself is incredible to see. The tower was so nice and we had several lunches at the top! Thank you so much Ippolita!

Staying at the Tower of Oto was an absolute dream! The location is perfect—just minutes from the entrance to Ordesa-Monte Perdido National Park, which made it incredibly convenient for all our hiking and exploring. The peaceful village of Oto is full of charm, and being so close to the neighboring town of Broto (walkable on a really cool hiking path) gave us easy access to great restaurants, shops, and anything else we needed during our stay. The tower itself was full of character—beautifully restored, with thoughtful touches that made it both unique and comfortable. The kids loved the tower and we all really loved the village and didn’t want to leave. Waking up to the views of the surrounding Pyrenees was something we looked forward to every morning. This is the perfect base for anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Ordesa Valley while enjoying a peaceful and authentic mountain village experience. We’re so grateful we found this gem!

Our stay in Mr. Jean-Louis's Chateau Rauly was very, very good! The Chateau and the gardens are beautiful with an impressive entrance. Our dog was also very happy with all the gardens to play and run and even more from Bobbie's lovely company, the very nice Chateaudog!! Mr. Jean-Louis and his wife are very nice and nice people. They were always available to help or inform us about the area, gastronomy etc. At the same time, we had all our privacy in our apartment and terrace and we so we had a very good week and we lived a week ´like a God in France. but then…. in a nice Chateau!!! Thank you very much for everything Mr. Jean-Louis. We'll definitely see you again! See you soon! Jessy & Eric

First and foremost Lucie and her parents Annick and Pierre are greats hosts and super lovely. They were helpful and so welcoming. Perfect communication and always there when we need them. The chateau was a dream- peaceful and beautiful not to mention super clean! Our stay there was amazing and it’s perfect for family’s. Won’t hesitate to return! Absolutely beautiful place! The house and pool are gorgeous and so well-equipped. It's in a quiet location but there is a lovely small town 10 mins away. We would stay again!

It was a real pleasure to stay in the lavender gite in the grounds of the chateau Michael's renovating. What made our stay special was the warm and friendly hospitality from Michael and his friend Gabi, and the beautiful gardens he's created around the gites, the chateau and the swimming pool. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool in our stay, but it looked very inviting in better weather!

We stayed at the beautiful place for 7 days. We were received by Gianluca and Rita super friendly. We felt right at home. The apartment was very clean, was super equipped (more than you are used to from an apartment). If you thought "Ah , that would be good to have" it was there. Otherwise, you could contact Gianluca and within seconds the wish was granted. He went above and beyond, even took us to shop. That was super sweet. The view is breathtaking. The area is very very quiet. On the beach you were almost alone. Very pleasant. You can walk to the town in 15-20 minutes. There you could visit cute little restaurants. All around , even with our two dogs, it was perfect. The property is very pet-friendly. Our highlight was that after we asked Gianluca, we were allowed to pick figs from his garden. Indescribably delicious and an incredible holiday feeling!Glad to come back

Beautiful home that perfectly suited our expectations. We were a large group of friends with young children: room for everyone and a perfectly protected exterior for children, especially the pool. Very nice large garden.

Staying at the castle was truly a dream come true! What a magnificent place, and the village and people were so friendly and helpful! Our breakfast was so fresh and tasty every morning, and so plentiful. Staying at LaSassa was one of the highlights of our entire stay in Italy, and you truly felt like a king and queen! The renaissance details, authentic stone, painting and old touches really added to the charm. I was so sad to leave, and would recommend everyone to stay at this truly unique and wonderful place!! It was so nice to be away from the crowds of Rome and Florence, and the view of the Tuscan Valley from the top of the castle was breathtaking! I can’t say enough wonderful things about staying at the castle. Thank you so much Giacomo and staff for your wonderful hospitality, and making our trip to Italy the trip of a lifetime!!

A beautiful two bedroom apartment in a historical Villa surrounded by a French style garden which we absolutely loved! We were welcomed by Damien and felt right at home in the flat. We loved big windows, lots of light, and attention to detail that Damien demonstrated by decorating a Christmas tree for us and preparing a welcome gift - some candies. The bathroom in the main bedroom is spacious and beautifully designed. We especially loved the combination of traditional elements and modernity, such as electric stove that looked like a traditional 19th century one. A fireplace is another great feature. It makes you feel like being in a French chateau. All in all, a great stay in a great place with kind and welcoming host. We can highly recommend the flat and Damien!

We stayed here in April as a family with a 7 year old. This is not just a place to stay, it's a wonderful experience! The castle is gorgeous and has an interesting history, as we learned from Sebas on a really lovely tour. The grounds are magical, with lots to explore for our son (plus games, books and toys). Our apartment was on the first floor and looked better than in the photos. It had a lot of space, the fireplace was cozy and with separate bedrooms it's great to go with kids or two couples. The apartment is full of character, just what you'd expect from staying in a castle! Everything was clean and comfortable and Gloria and Sebas are the most welcoming and gracious hosts, always thinking of how to improve our stay and recommending places to go (we loved the short visits/hikes to the Monastery, the Minyona viewpoint and the Hermita, all with amazing views, and the 2 hour hike to the Salt de Sallent waterfall). All in all a wonderful stay, we'd love to come back in summer!

We had an amazing stay that exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and extra special to have Blanco there. Location is great and we would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the lake Garda area.
