We had. Great weekend with our adult children and 2 dogs! Lots to do at the cabin but we also went hiking . We enjoyed a fire and the s’more making kit ! The hot tub was very relaxing

Great place and location. Very clean and spacious. About 30 min from most of the major trails.

My family and I had a wonderful stay, it was our first getaway with our new puppy and he loved spacious backyard. We were only 4 min away from hocking hills state park which was a PLUS!

Lovely little private cabin with access to a small trail right on the property. The location is amazing and there’s lots to do in the hocking hills area. Julie and Klaus were wonderful hosts and Julie was on top of it with the information and clear instructions. Which is always appreciated!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the cabin. It was clean, easy to get to, and centrally located to the things we wanted to do in the area. We would absolutely stay again! Are planning to make this a yearly trip for us.

We had an absolute blast at this cabin! Smooth check-in/out, secluded/ private setting, and perfect location for Hocking Hills & Columbus (COSI) trips. Beds were incredibly comfy! Made unforgettable memories with my kids. Clean ! Hot tub was a huge hit! Can't recommend this cabin enough!

This place was excellent for what we needed. Paul was responsive with any questions. The eggs and sausage were delicious. If you are a group that wants quality time together, this is the place. Thanks Paul.

The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

I have rented many modest cabins in Hocking Hills, and Fullbrooks stands out—everything we needed it to be. Great: well-appointed kitchen (sharp knives, sugar, salt/pepper); several outdoor spaces; super clean (including hot tub); clear stargazing (Milky Way); private (not secluded); comfy furniture throughout; extra towels, TP, paper towels, dish/hand soap; shocking lack of bugs*; dog-friendly (our big pup relished the free range—within easy view). Okay: 20-30 min drive to most HH attractions; patchy media (could connect phones to wifi, but even after resetting the router, couldn’t connect to Netflix/cast to TV from our phones); off-site check in/out added ~15 min x2 to our drive. Tips: Bring back-up matches for a fire and your own napkins. To those mindful of plastics/PFAS, the kitchen has only scratched up nonstick cookware; bring your own pot and pan, as well as a container to collect recyclables to take home. *1st Choice sprays for bugs, including bees. Poor pollinators. ☹

What a dream it was to stay at Brenda and Deborah’s place! They were so welcoming (to the point of welcoming us in to share their delicious pot roast and chocolate cake) but they still very much respected our privacy and space. The space itself had everything we could have needed and they went above and beyond to provide breakfast, snacks, and mini toiletries in the unit. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Athens!

A cozy little cabin in the woods with personality plus. Several acres of nature detox. Very inviting for dogs, with food and water dish available. Plenty of fun inside including vinyl records, DVDs, games, Chubby stove for the cold evenings, and fun wall hangings. And even more fun outside including spring fed pond with fish, hammocks, Tiki style bar, 2 fire pit areas, bball, frisbee golf, ring toss, and probably more fun that we didn't even find.

Location was beautiful! Wanted a weekend getaway to get snowed in at and this place was perfect! Right on the lake, amazing deck. Lake was frozen over but the view was amazing. Hot tub was a great addition as well. Read another review regarding light switches and I definitely agree, very confusing but if you try them all you will eventually get it. Had an old school lakehouse feel which is what we loved most about it! Will definitely be coming back in warmer months.

Beautiful place, very peaceful and private. Can't wait to stay in the summer and make use of the pond.

Emily’s place is a paradise to behold—- I rented it for work but it felt like I was vacationing (glad my patients cooperated). Lovely cabin with topnotch architecture, views, wildlife (the birds!), and pristine accommodation. She has a beautiful home, she was very accommodating and accessible (despite being on vacation). Cindy was great! I would highly recommend staying at her house, it was clean and organized, Cindy was very kind and welcoming. It was very close to uptown.

if i could give ten stars I would, this was my second stay with a 1st choice airbnb and I certainly was not disappointed I already already have a third one booked, their consistent across locations, friendly from the start, the photos don't really show you how massive this home is there is so much to explore inside and out, getting in was easy, plenty of places to sit and chat or play games, we enjoyed the hot tub nightly , movies in BOTH living rooms, sauna trips, walk down to the pond area and bird watch we saw a wood pecker, pet friendly and pet safe, my corgi loved the fenced in yard, i cant recommend this place enough, we are already planning more gatherings in the future i cant wait to come back.

It has a good location and comfortable beds. Very Clean and well-organized, and Everything is functional. It was a pleasant stay for us, and I would recommend it.

This was a perfect place for my husband and I to take our adult children on a weekend getaway so that we could relax and reconnect. We loved watching the sunrise over the river as we sipped our morning coffee on the deck. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful scenery as they were fishing from the dock. If I could sum up our stay in one word, it would be "Peaceful." We will definitely be returning for more family weekends.

We had a great weekend! Both me and my husband used to go to hocking college years ago so it was great to get to see our old stomping grounds! The house was very homey and comfortable and we will be back again!

Love this cabin! Our second stay here. Comfortable and roomy in a beautiful setting. We especially enjoy the electric fireplace, very cozy! 1st Choice Cabin Rentals hosts are helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely try to book this Airbnb next time.
