We appreciated that the bed and towels were clean on our first night so we extended for one night. It’s a rugged, rustic experience, and we feel like this is a more authentic way to kind of experience the desert. While there’s no heating, the many thick blankets were more than enough to provide warmth. The most important thing is that the bed linens and towels were clean. Ali was responsive and reassuring when we ran into some trouble on the road to Merzouga, and we’re very grateful! Great place for a beautiful sunrise!

Palmyra Luxury Camp is not just a site to visit and stay overnight, it’s a total experience. The host and his team are delightful and very helpful from the moment you step on the property to when you leave. There is no request to small or too big for them to handle to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience while in their care. The luxury tents are pristine and well decorated with all the features and more than one could possible require in such a remote location. The tea service and multi course dinner is remnant of five star restaurants in major cities. In addition, the live music and conversation about the hosts’ culture and heritage around the fire in the evening is an added bonus. Palmyra luxury camp is an all inclusive luxury experience with many offerings and suggestions to partake in the local culture and activities. I highly recommend a stay here and would definitely come back again.

We had a great stay at Houssien’s house. The location was ideal for a stop between Fès and the desert. Houssien was very friendly and tried to show us some nice spots in the area, including a visit to meet local nomads.

This place was excellent. The staff is warm and friendly. The tents are amazing. Will come back again soon. Great experience.

The hospitality Ali gave us was great. He is an extremely kind host, the most exceptional moment we experienced during our road trip in Morocco. The authentic home he restored is splendid, delicious meal and breakfast, and discussions of unforgettable richness. Visit the next day in the original kasbah and the palm grove. We would have stayed several nights but the remainder of our trip was waiting for us. We will come back without hesitation!

My boyfriend and I stayed only one night in this place, but we totally loved it! One of our favorite accommodations in Morocco! It has this absolutely lovely desert vibe; all the interior decors, shapes, carpets, etc., are chosen so well! Just beautiful! :) Although we arrived quite late, Moha was waiting for us. We really appreciated that it was not a problem to boil some hot water to make the tea in the evening. Everything was very clean and nice. In the morning, a huge breakfast was served to us, we felt like in a restaurant. Moha was very welcoming, polite, and kind. If we ever come back to Hassilabied, we will definitely choose this place again.
