Fort Bragg 'Secret Garden' Cabin w/ Hot Tub, Views

MattRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family had a great stay at the Secret Garden. Kathleen was communicative from before the trip began and easily accommodated a late check-in. The house was charming with visual interest everywhere. Our kids really loved the fun paintings and decor. The kitchen was suitable for making a few meals and reheating food. The only quirk with the house is that you have to go through one bedroom and the bathroom in order to get to the second bedroom. (Not a problem for us.) The hot tub was a real highlight. It was spacious, clean, and it afforded us the rare opportunity to stare up at the stars through the redwoods while soaking in hot water. What's not to like? The house itself is situated about five minutes outside of Fort Bragg off a country road. The combination of seclusion and proximity to town, beaches, and sand dunes was incredible. We would stay at the Secret Garden again.

Romantic woodland 1BR with private hot tub & deck

AngieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved this place! It’s literally in the middle of the woods, so peaceful and relaxing. I did read reviews saying the place got cold at night so we took our own extra blankets but they were not needed, the fire place works great. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

This 4 bed downstairs unit was great for our crew of 4 guys on an XC motorcycle trip. The cedar hot tub was an epic bonus.

Camp Huckleberry

DavidRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We love the place. We spent 3 nights there and would love to stay 4 but it wasn’t available. The house, tree house, and the outdoor area were all amazing and it’s the perfect place to wind down with your friends. The outdoor hot tub was the best with the outdoor shower surrounded by redwoods was quite an experience. Kitchen is well stocked and we had nice breakfast and dinners there. Host was super responsive to all our questions during our stay. Would love to visit again in the future.

Cozy Redwood Cottage Near the Mendocino Coast

SkyeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is hands-down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. From the get-go, Renee was proactive with her communications, flexible, and responsive. After booking, I had a concern that the space might not get warm enough with only a wood-burning stove (boy was I wrong!). When I expressed this concern, She was willing to work with me. When I got there, it was absolutely stunning, private, nestled in the redwoods in one of the most beautiful places in northern California! It was not too far a drive to the coastline or into town to Mendocino. The space feels somehow both cozy and totally spacious. It feels much less like a cabin and more like a fully stocked, fully furnished apartment with comfortable and beautiful furniture. And yet it’s still nestled in the comfort of the woods and has a rustic feel about it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and am sending the listing to all of my friends.

Juliette's Place - Be In The Woods - Retreat

JudiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Amazing Cabin. Peter is extremely friendly and suggested lots to do. I picked the cabin because we really just wanted to relax/disconnect somewhere beautiful-not feel pressured to do too much since we already live in San Francisco- and this place did not disappoint. The place is even cuter in person, lots of natural light and so many beautiful interior details. It’s got old rustic charm but also all the amenities. The wood burning stove was cozy. Sooo many stars at night that you can gaze at from bed! I’m rambling at this point. This place was awesome. Thank you Peter!

Big River Farm - "The Zendo"

XiwenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Zendo was a dream. Cabin/glamping at its best. Large house and I woke up in the midst of the forest with lushes greenery. Also that bed was so comfortable!!!!! WiFi worked well, the host had the sweetest gift basket for us when we arrived. It truly was a house of Zen. We drank coffee, made smores by the fireplace (they include the wood and all), read, relaxed and admired all the windows 🪟 and the greenery. Amazing this was real life and not a green screen. The hospitality, the host helped us with parking and we arrived late in the rain. Thank you ZENDO for an incredible weekend!

Lake Pillsbury, Hull Mt.Cabin 2BR1Ba w/deck

RobertRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We are so glad we found Heather and her rustic cabins, it’s the only place to stay when visiting Lake Pillsbury. Such a unique location with a fascinating history, a much needed break from the city life. Our cabin had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, was spotless with very comfortable beds! The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need We spent 4 days relaxing at the private pound, taking bike rides down the winding roads, stargazing, and exploring the trails. Heather checked in with us daily and was able to share the history of her land and the cabins. A beautiful location that everyone needs to visit!

Bay Cabin- Rustic cabin with easy access to river

AbigailRating, 5 stars29 months ago
The cabin was so lovely and cozy! The wood stove/fireplace was truly amazing, the cabin was so warm and toasty throughout the night. Laurie, Greg and Skip are all so great and accommodating. The bathrooms were always so clean, with hot water showers. The location is amazing, everything is close by: gorgeous hikes at Hendy Woods State Park, and near some amazing wineries for wine tasting. We absolutely loved our time here!

Cute and comfortable cabin. Can get cold at night, that's normal. Bathrooms were clean and showers were nice. We really enjoyed spending time down by the river. My two-year-old had a lot of fun.

Sorrel- Rustic Cabin w/ Access to Navarro River

ArtRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Laurie and Craig were very friendly and helped us beyond the call of duty. We had not realized that visitors to the cabins generally had their own camping style cooking and eating supplies and/or mostly ate out. We did not have our camping supplies as we had very recently moved. Despite being very busy with other visitors to the cabins and campground, they went out of their way to provide what we needed to be comfortable and capable of feeding ourselves with the food that we had brought. Their location is very beautiful as depicted in the photos. It is also very peaceful. The library is a nice feature as are the two bathrooms.

Rose Cottage at Dune Gardens

JaedonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Tenaya's cottage was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The cabin itself is cozy, warm, has a well stocked kitchen, WIFI, clean bathroom, and is decorated nicely with books, and artwork. The gardens are tranquil and beautiful. The dunes are only a walk down the street and are quite an experience to hike around. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful as well. Tenaya was very welcoming, informative, and made us feel comfortable. Would love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway in the Fort Bragg area.

The Nature Sanctuary at Ocean Forest

SuchitraRating, 5 stars3 days ago
If you're looking for a serene escape immersed in nature, this cozy cabin in Mendocino is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, Ben welcomed us with warmth and kindness, making us feel right at home. Nestled among towering trees, the cabin offered a peaceful retreat where the gentle chirping of birds became our morning soundtrack. It perfectly captures the essence of a rustic getaway, complete with an outdoor firepit for bonfires under the stars. Reading a good book in this tranquil setting was pure bliss, and the outdoor shower was an unexpected delight—truly bringing us closer to nature. The wood-burning heater inside the cabin added to the charm, creating a cozy atmosphere that made us feel like we were truly living in the forest. If you're in search of a place to unplug, unwind, and embrace the simplicity of nature, I highly recommend this beautiful retreat. We left feeling refreshed and reconnected—already dreaming of our next visit!🌲🔥📖✨

3BR Dog Friendly | Deck | Washer/Dryer

LisaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Great location. Short walk to beach. Close to Fort Bragg & Mendocino. Rustic, yet very cozy home. Our family of 5 enjoyed our 4 nights there over Labor Day weekend. We even got to enjoy the annual Paul Bunyan festivities in Fort Bragg. Location made it easy to go back & forth from downtown easily when we wanted to take a break or if needed to get something from the house. Would definitely consider returning if staying in FB.
