Family-friendly holiday rentals in Metropolitan City of Bologna

This apartment was so much better than we expected. The host went above and beyond doing some research into a venue for dinner on New Year’s Eve. The apartment is very large and easily fit the 3 couples we were travelling with. Without a doubt would stay here again

The cottage is immersed in nature and exactly as described: you can breathe a lot of tranquility. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful, and the owners took care to let us find the water at a perfect temperature. They were also very helpful in adapting to our needs and schedules, if there is an opportunity we will definitely come back in the future.

Words cannot explain how beautiful this home is! From the warm fireplace to the beautiful furnishings and feel of the home, we loved EVERYTHING about it. Tiziano was so helpful with recommendations and we can’t wait to come visit again and share a bottle of wine with him next time. 10/10 would recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a small town home with plenty of small local places to eat/drink.

It was one of the best vacations we had in Italy! One of the best airbnbs we've stayed in. Super private, quiet, peaceful, relaxing, etc. Everything we needed and were looking for on this trip. The views and landscape are so breathtaking! So many nature! And best of all: dog friendly! Can't wait to go back soon!

Our son was in Castel San Pietro Terme with his trainer for 1 week. They loved Cristina's place and really enjoyed their stay there. Cristina was very nice, helpful and accommodating. The apartment was equipped with everything you need. We definitely recommend it. If we are in the area again, we would very much like to book with Cristina again.

We had a lovely stay at Piero’s place. It has a feeling of a grandmother’s house, which makes it warm and welcoming. The check-in was very smooth. Gladiola welcomed us with her lovely pie. Very clean space, good heating, stably warm water, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed with extra duvets, which we indeed needed. I would have loved a couch for more comfort, but this is totally our own personal preference (it was not listed as an item of the house anyway). Thank you, we look forward to coming back again!

Staying with Matteo was amazing! The property is beautiful, the surroundings serene and they paid so much attention to detail and esthetics! We were lucky to be there over the weekend and had dinner in the restaurant on both nights it was open. The food was excellent!!! The place also is a great starting point for several hikes. We appreciate Matteo’s hospitality, friendliness and can highly recommend staying here 🫶🏻

The 5 nights that we spent at Anna's place were wonderful. First , Anna was a great host. Check in was easy and she was always available for recommendations. The apartment was extremely clean, the kitchen had everything necessary and more, and the huge patio was definitely a plus. The bed was very comfortable and the area was quiet for a great night sleep. The location was perfect for getting into the center of town, 10 mins by bus. Groceries and restaurants are close. I would definitely stay there again, everything was perfect.

Delightful house, cared for in every detail, well organized, tastefully furnished, cozy, very clean and equipped with everything. In addition, the apartment is in a very quiet area, well connected and nearby there are shops for every need.

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

This was a very quiet and comfortable place in a beautiful setting. We shared the entire location with the hosts and a second accommodation. Enough privacy. Great pool that was big enough for the kids. We had a very spacious house with a private outdoor table. The kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked several times at home. In the village at 10 minutes there is a supermarket with all you need. The place is rather isolated, you need a car to get around. Gabriela suggested to leave the car in Castel Bolognese, at 30 minutes by car, park it for free and travel by train to Ravenna or Bologna. That is just 30-40 minutes and saves you the hassle with parking or Zona Limitada restrictions in the Italian cities. We did not go to Firenze that is about 1.5-2 hours by car. Conclusion: great rural hide out with all luxury and privacy. We have seen many cyclists on the mountain roads. Supposedly therefore a good location also for cyclists or motorcycle enthusiasts to enjoy this region.

We stayed as a family in Andrea's beautiful place to stay - a couple with baby, a couple without a child and a grandparent couple, so 6 adults. We had more than enough space and were received very warmly. Apartment, garden and pool were great and we were able to relax well. We particularly enjoyed the oversized table where we always ate. The view is amazing and everything was absolutely clean and well maintained. We experienced Andrea and Alina as very warm and accommodating. We would come back.

Our original flight was cancelled and the replacement flight 2 days later meant we arrived at 2 am but access to the farmhouse was organised for us and communicated clearly.

We just stayed at Giulia's farm and found everything to be fantastic: the interior spaces, the pool and the garden are very well-kept, the cleanliness of the room and the attention to detail. But what makes, in our opinion, this very special place is Giulia's extreme hospitality, friendliness and humanity - which was not at all obvious - which went out of her way to make our short stay perfect, from offering us an aperitif to booking for us also a wonderful apericena in the vineyard on a nearby farm. We were able to spend seven wonderful days with Milena and Sergio. We were stunned by the warmth that the two brought us. The accommodation is unique and has a piece of history of Molinella with the restored castle. It is very worth spending a few nice days here. The property is well maintained and there is something new to discover on every corner. Our children especially liked the pool. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the unforgettable vacation!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday.
