We had an incredible weekend getaway at this beautiful spot on the Vaal River! The place was not only comfortable and clean, but Linda and Andre were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. We caught so much fish, and they showed us the best spots to enjoy it all. The swims were perfect, the braais were fantastic, and everything about the stay was just ideal. It’s the perfect escape from the busy city—highly recommend!

Jenny goes an extra mile for all her guest she was very accomodating and making sure our stay was comfortable beautiful place and scenery as well.

Absolutely Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! This home is absolutely gorgeous—even more beautiful than the photos and far beyond what we imagined. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and the space felt like a luxurious escape. The host was incredibly welcoming, with excellent communication and always readily available if we needed anything. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to book the spa due to our packed schedule, but that just gives us the perfect excuse to come back—and we definitely will! The location is also ideal—central and convenient for everything we wanted to do. Highly, highly recommend this stunning Airbnb. You won’t be disappointed!

Petra’s place is absolutely stunning - the views and atmosphere are amazing. She is such a warm host. Always willing to help. The space is comfortable and we felt right at home.

Lovely peaceful place which felt like home Access was easy and communication was excellent

Amazing!!! George the housekeeper on premises was on point and was always there. Great for a family get together of 14-15 people and built in such a way that everyone has their own space with beautiful views of the dam. House and surrounding gardens are immaculate.

One of the most special little breaks we've had. Aloe Fjord is beautiful, the sunsets are magical, the quietness and calmness around you is surreal, and Amy is just absolutely gorgeous. Paula and her Husband the owners of Aloe Fjord are possibly the sweetest hosts we've ever met; they are so kind and caring; they welcomed us with open arms and helped and accommodated us with requests and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. We'll definitely make a point of it to visit more often.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The place was exactly as advertised and Christopher was very responsive when we had any queries. The house is beautiful and the area is peaceful. The only recommendation I have is to maybe have blinds in the rooms for some privacy ;) otherwise we had a lovely time!
