This meal is a wonderful way to get to know some of the dedicated farmers and artisans of Northern Italy, and we’ll send you home with a savory babà to enjoy later. This is a unique Italian cooking class, I will open my house located in an elegant palace located in one of the most prestigious areas in the center of Milan, full of art paintings and antique furniture that come from the family Palladian Palace, you will taste there mouth-watering traditional Italian dishes and recipes that you have prepared: pasta ravioli and tiramisu. I will teach you how to make the most famous and delicious noodles and ravioli with filling from a Michelin chef's recipe, the secrets of the unique and classic tiramisu, a family recipe that follows that of its only creator: a soft, sweet, tasty and unique tiramisu!!! Very easy to reach: subway blue line just 20 meters from the Coni Zugna -Via Foppa stop. Cooking for one's family is a tradition handed down for generations. When Grandma Bruna is too tired she will be replaced by her daughter or grandchildren. 12 hours in advance we will send an email with the name of the teacher, but if you want only Grandma Bruna as teacher I cannot assure 12 hours in advance.

The class is intended to be as professional as relaxed as possible. Partecipants could be up to 20ppl. We will learn how to prepare 3 typical dishes of italian tradition (main course, starter and dessert), for example gnocchi or tagliatelle or risotto, tiramisù, bruschetta or parmigiana. Partecipants will be able to deal with all preparations assisted by me, ask questions and take notes ending with a dinner matched with good italian wines. All recipes will come along with the class, so everybody joining will be able to recreate all preparations at home for family and friends.

We will start your food journey in the Brera neighborhood, one of Milan’s hippest area. We will cross narrow and intimate streets of this hystorical and artistic area. We will have a tour of the court of Pinacoteca di Brera (fine art gallery) where I will talk you some true secrets of the place and some interesting curiosity about the lovely Braidense Library dated 1770. Quello che offro è un corso per apprendere come realizzare alcuni piatti tipici della nostra splendida Italia. Prepareremo insieme la pasta fresca, nei formati tradizionali delle varie regioni italiane: le tagliatelle all’uovo emiliane, le rinomate orecchiette pugliesi, i cavatelli molisani e per chi desidera sperimentare ed assaggiare qualcosa di veramente unico, ci cimenteremo nei culurgiones sardi (una pasta fresca ripiena, chiusa ad arte, con una farcitura di patate, pecorino e menta) Ci sarà da divertirsi! E mentre lavoriamo, degusteremo un delizioso aperitivo a base di buon vino (o in alternativa una bevanda analcolica) e salame nostrano...e poi tutti a tavola per l’assaggio! Come dolce realizzeremo la torta paesana, detta anche torta di pane: tipica della tradizione povera lombarda brianzola, che veniva cucinata dalle mamme e dalle nonne per le feste di paese e rionali, oppure il più popolare tiramisu’ o ancora il salame al cioccolato. Tornerai a casa orgoglioso di te!
