The place is as advertised and more. Those who've been to Kisumu know how hot and uncomfortable the nights can be. Not Raj's place. The place was cool during the day and at night. No mosquitoes to complain about regardless of the close proximity to the lake. Raj was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back on my next trips to Kisumu. A true gem

Last week I had the opportunity of experiencing Villa de Sol in Kisumu, and I must say it was an exceptional adventure. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming hospitality of the hosts. Especially from one of the care taker’s Margaret Makau. She was always willing to help and very responsive towards any challenges I faced. The location is perfect – situated in a serene and picturesque part of Kisumu, offering stunning views of the renowned Lake Victoria and a very tranquil environment. It’s close to the town center making it easy to explore the vibrant local culture and beautiful landscapes. Overall, my stay at VDS was outstanding, and I highly recommend. The villa itself is beautifully maintained, with modern and stylish decor that provides a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere. The facilities were top-notch, including a well-equipped kitchen, spacious and clean rooms, and reliable Wi-Fi. The outdoor area and the lake restaurant were my highlights.

this studio always works for me. and very spacious. being in CBD the location is convenient for my business activities in town. While it's busy outside, indoors is ideally quite for desk work.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Emily’s place.The people on ground were very friendly and welcoming to us. Kids also enjoyed the pool.Generally we will be coming back!

We had an amazing stay at Erick's place. The house is exactly as described and matches the photos. It's even more beautiful in person. The service staff was also excellent and helpful at all times. I totally recommend this place.

The place was just as pictured. Elvis was such a hospitable host and was always a phone call away to cater for all our needs. We especially enjoyed the patio and the grill. The location was convenient to access amenities. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

I was crashing for one night before I headed to the airport, but I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. What a great way to end my stay in Kisumu! The view has to be the greatest highlight. The place was also spotless and had everything I needed. Also, the house is very well located, about 20-25 minutes to the airport. If you don’t have a car, you will need to hire one or plan for a cab in advance (otherwise, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the main road if you need to use public transportation). Brian was very accommodating, letting me drop my bags off early and checking in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend it! He’s an extremely warm and welcoming host.
