Holiday rentals in Mill Bay

We were very impressed with this Airbnb - definitely exceeded our expectations in terms of location, size, and things to do close by. Check-in was a breeze, we had absolutely everything we needed at the airbnb (and more), beds and linens were so comfortable, and very spacious. An added bonus was the swan lake sanctuary within 5 minutes walking distance, which was great for us to explore as a family Super close to downtown so didn't feel like an inconvenience to drive to go shopping and explore. Would highly recommend and I'd stay again in a heartbeat

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

We enjoyed the chef approved kitchen. Lovely attention to details that made the stay easy and comfortable (hot tub slippers, lots of towels). We loved the art, the ocean view was amazing and the home was well stocked. Dominick was quick to respond when we needed help. Our gal’s getaway, in this wonderful setting, was one for the books. We look forward to our next visit.

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Jane's suite is a perfect place for those who work away from home or want some time off. Quiet, simple and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. Communication is efficient abd warm. I would book again.

What a magical place! Only wished we could have stayed longer. Absolutely stunning home nestled in the forest on the edge of the sea. Had a great time

Loved staying in this beautiful area. The pool and hot tub right next to the ocean were the cherry on top. Tammy’s place was very clean. Felt cleaner than most hotels we’ve been to. Her instructions were crystal clear and we had zero issues accessing the condo and the amenities. Our only feedback; we were missing our creamer in the morning for our coffee. There’s a chance it was there but we didn’t find it! Other than that, we loved it and highly recommend!

This place truly felt like a home away from home. Lots of space for the 4 of us, comfy beds and lots of places to sit and relax. Sooke is a beautiful place to visit and Sean's place is a great place to stay while you explore the town.

We loved staying at Jim’s place, rain or shine; which we got both. The wood burning stove was a great way to cozy up and relax on those rainy days. Love that the deck has a full covering so we still hung out outside to take in the amazing views. Jim was a great host. Highly recommend! Bed was very comfortable, kitchen fully stocked.. even an instant pot!
