Holiday rentals in Mills Orchard

If you are looking for a remote cabin (yet still reasonably close to civilization), this is a great place. The cabin is really beautiful and well appointed. We got in late the first night and it was cold. We couldn't get the heater working for some reason, but were able to start a fire and in a bit the cabin warmed up. We just sank into the warm covers on the bed. In the morning, I reached out to Jeff about the heater and he responded immediately fixing it remotely and getting us some extra fire starter. I really appreciated the prompt service. Just a word to the wise, there is no TV - which I am sure was mentioned in the ad, but I didn't notice. Not a huge deal as there was wifi and we had our iPads, but just an FYI. And we should have stopped at the store on our way in to pick up stuff for breakfast as it is a little drive to the nearest store. Definitely would stay again.

Clean space lots of amenities and owner is proactive and friendly. Overall had a great stay and would book again!

Our family needed a place on short notice to accommodate our out of town stay to attend a family funeral. We were super comfortable staying here and Michelle was very responsive when we had a last minute adjustment to our check in dates. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This was the perfect place for a group. We celebrated Christmas in the 4 bed 2 bath country home. We loved the fire pit and natural surroundings. Everything was spotless and high quality. Huge laundry room and most of the rooms are large. Oscar’s hospitality was excellent and we couldn’t be happier. A good value if you want to get away in the Northern California countryside.

The listing is a lovely place with a lovely host! The only comment I would make is that there is no dedicated kitchen and that was a bit of a challenge. After arriving and seeing the unit, I went back to look at the photos and description on the Air BnB listing. The photos looked as if there was a small kitchen but the description listed no "formal kitchen" so that part was a little confusing. Instead of a kitchen sink there was a laundry wash basin installed which was great to have but not useful for any kind of food prep in the sense that you have to be careful not to put anything but water down the drain since there is no garbage disposal. We made it work though and would definitely stay there again. Perhaps some further clarity in the description of what is meant by "no formal kitchen" would be helpful.
