Holiday rentals with a kayak in Milo

Staying at Mara's house was exactly what we needed to welcome in 2025. The house itself is immaculate, well appointed, comfortable and has incredible lakefront views to tie it all together. Getting around the Cayuga Lake area was so easy from where the house is located and there are even some incredible wineries and breweries minutes away. The layout and setup of the house was very thoughtfully done and everything we needed (and more) was there. 10/10 excellent stay.

My family of two adults and one 4 year old stayed at Teresa’s while visiting family for the holidays and it was a great place. It’s well and thoughtfully stocked, and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The porch was very helpful for having Wegmans groceries delivered. It was plenty warm enough for us Californians in December, and Teresa responded right away when our jet lagged brains couldn’t find the toaster (it’s in the lazy Susan). Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Loved the place! The sunset view by the lake with a fire will remain in my heart. Russell was very kind with several sweet gifts. He is a great host!

SPECTACULAR home. Amy has this place set up to perfection. VERY well thought out. Outdoor hot jacuzzi to die for with the zero degree temps. Amy was extremeley quick to respond to my inquiries as well during our stay. Lots of extra treats out for us as well in the nicely stocked kitchen. This place could not have been better!

Owasco Lake is beautiful - crystal clear - and staying in Adam’s place almost felt like staying on a house boat since it’s RIGHT on/over the water. We loved hearing the waves lapping up against the shore and seeing the sun rise over the lake in the morning. The use of the 3 kayaks was great, and we also brought some inflatable SUPs for our kids - they had a blast on the lake. The house is also close to a Wegmans, a beautiful waterfall (Carpenter Falls), and a great brewery (Aurora Brewing Co). We all had a great time! The neighbors were SUPER friendly and Adam was very responsive to questions. The outdoor fire ‘pit’ on the patio was lovely, and there were plenty of life jackets and towels for the lake. My only complaint is that the house was a bit run down, and the middle bedroom was a bit warm because there was no AC in there. Overall though, a wonderful trip!

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

My family and I attended our niece's wedding nearby in Victor. There were 10 of us staying, so we needed a place to stay that could accommodate all of us. Serenity Shores was perfect. Plenty of room, peaceful, beautiful view of the lake, spacious enough for all of us to get ready for the wedding. Then such a relaxing place to hang out and rest for a couple of days before heading home. The only issue we had was there only being a spiral staircase between upstairs and downstairs. My 84 year old mother was with us and couldn't do the spiral staircase. Upstairs is level with the driveway/parking, but with the kitchen being downstairs, it was better for her to stay down there. It worked out, there is a path that goes down a hill on the outside of the house to a patio and sliding doors. The path is loose stone, so we held on to mom while she walked down. It wasn't much of a problem, Mom loved the place. Just an FYI. Bottom line, 5 stars. Our family made some great memories.

Relaxing space to enjoy time by the lake and had everything we needed and more!

We had a wonderful stay hanging out near the rivers edge. We were provided with ample firewood and smores as a welcome gift :) very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back during summer to do some kayaking

Location, location, location! Right on the water, hot tub was great, comfortable place and it was just perfect for us. We loved the local wineries and other activities and it was so nice to come back to that beautiful lake view at the end of the day. Thanks so much Nick and Chrissy! We would love to come back one day.

I visited with 2 friends, and we had an amazing time. The house is the perfect cozy winter cabin. We were there for snowboarding at Song Mountain which is 2 blocks up the street, and Labrador Mountain was 15 minutes away. It snowed quite a bit over the weekend but the owners were very quick to clear the walkway each day and had a plow clear the driveway for my car. There is a great guest book with recommendations of things to do and restaurants to see, plus they have pictures of their 4 dogs; they let us play with one in the snow! The lake view was incredible in the winter, I saw some people ice fishing on it which was cool. Lastly, although it was raining badly on one of our intended snowboarding days, it was easy to come up with an alternative plan thanks to the recommendations in the guest book. We visited Syracuse for the day which is 20 minutes away and spent the day in the mall there which is like a mini city itself. I would recommend this place to anyone, we loved it!

The cottage was just beautiful..right on the water. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen ready to set up housekeeping. Brochures available for area activities. The 1 bed available is able to sleep around 6 people ..lol.. the bed was very comfortable. There are other pull outs for sleeping.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean place! Very convenient to spa in Aurora and hosts provide every convenience from kitchen gadgets to streaming services. Highly recommend

Beautiful location! Kitchen and living room space wonderful with great views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get in and out, since it’s nestled on the slope near the docks, but we got our steps in! Also located close to the scenic falls and parks, and very convenient to Cornell Campus and downtown Ithaca. Host was super too. We had everything we needed and more.

What a wonderful getaway! The lake cabin, fire pit and lake views were perfect and exactly what we needed. It was quiet this time of year and the view of the falls leaves on the mountain were stunning! The cabin was clean and well-stocked. Communication was a breeze and the hosts lovely! We were so glad for this gem of a place and owners.

The cottage is small but has everything needed for a great getaway. It was close to wineries and breweries. We had an awesome stay during an off season time and I'm sure it's even more enjoyable during warmer months to take advantage of the outdoor space. It really feels like the hosts are sharing a well loved home!

Nancy’s cottage was perfect for our little family of 4. We enjoyed card games on the back porch, meals al fresco w a beautiful lake view, and of course roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at sunset. The cottage was intimate and cozy and we hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you Nancy for being inviting and more than accommodating.

Relaxing, peaceful, perfectly described and well equipped. Not only was this place ideal for our family during our extended stay, the hosts were amazing. Kind, reachable and helpful. Would recommend, just understand lake living. Loved it!

We spent evenings gathered around the fire pit, soaking in the peaceful setting. The temperature control system also worked perfectly, ensuring we were always comfortable. A special shout-out to Sarah, the host, whose responsiveness and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this cabin has it all. This was our second stay here during the winter and we fall in love with it more every time. It’s so peaceful, beautiful property, quiet, and the cabin is perfect in every way. We feel so lucky that Sherry and her family share this special place with others. You can tell so much love has gone into creating this cabin. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace, cooking meals every day in the kitchen, walking in the snow with our dogs (who had SO much fun playing outside), and waking up to the view of the snowy trees each morning from the loft. We can’t wait to return again! This is one of our favorite places to go for a getaway!

Beautiful property in a stunning location! Cabins are small but very efficient. Beautiful sunsets at the dock. A great landing pad to explore the area.

My friends and I had a great weekend here! We especially enjoyed having fires and hanging out on the dock. Perfect location and was only a 5 minute drive into town. The cabin was just what we needed & I would definitely recommend to others.

The cabin itself was incredibly cozy, spotlessly clean, and had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. We loved that there was both a cabin and a bungalow on the property—it gave us so much space to enjoy. One of the highlights was the firepit that Ken had already set up for us, along with a delightful s'more bar. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our nights by the fire extra special.
