Holiday rentals with a kayak in Missouri River

A perfect home away from home while visiting our daughter. Amazing hosts, very accommodating, amenities were top notch. The hot tub allowed us to relax & unwind while watching deer & other wildlife move through the backyard. We will be back.

The house was exactly as described and more. The kitchen was well stocked and included some very nice extras not always included - foil, baggies, spices, coffee, creamer, and farm fresh eggs! The home was lovely and comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Joni was a great communicator - and she even brought over a new Roku when a tv remote was missing upon check-in. We appreciate all the extras the home offered.

We had three families with little kids stay for an ice fishing weekend. The cabin was cozy and inviting with plenty to do, even on a cold, winter day. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. The view outside was beautiful, so peaceful! It would be an awesome place to visit in the summer. Jason was very responsive and helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful house and location! Couldn't have asked for anything else, by far the cleanest place we have rented!

Very clean house with lots of light and beautiful views of the river. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are plenty of nice quality towels in the bathrooms. The gas fireplace was warm and cozy for us (winter visit). The neighborhood is walkable, and just a couple of blocks from a waterside park and bridge to another nice park with historic houses and a sculpture park. We enjoyed the small towns nearby as well as Prairie du Chein (McGregor is worth a visit).

This was the perfect place for a group of six women to unwind and relax. The place had all we needed. We didn’t even leave once we arrived. Plenty of room and yet cozy enough to sit and visit.

The cabin was easy to find and has the most amazing views! We came at the end of the season for a family reunion but I’m sure during the summer this place is even more stunning!! Since it was off season we got to bring our dogs and they loved the area and all the fun smells. The main road outside of the resort was great for walks! The cabin was clean, had a great internet connection, and being so close to the water was awesome. My husband was able to catch some small fish right off the dock outside our cabin, which was fun! If given the opportunity we would stay again!

Enjoyed the welcoming by hosts, coziness, peaceful and private location near Half Moon lake. Beautiful sunsets, night sky, and nearby hiking trails we explored. Provides necessary amenities for a very enjoyable stay! Look forward to booking again.

Spending two nights at Ted and Lori's cozy lake cottage was just what we were looking for-quiet surroundings in beautiful nature. We enjoyed the trails on the property and just over the road. The sunrises were especially beautiful. We liked being there in the fall without so much busy traffic and so many Summer tourists in the areas nearby. The Fall brought its own special feel. Especially comfortable were the beds. We slept like angels! The two chairs by the stone fireplace were also a favorite place to relax and read. Thank you both for sharing your special place with so many.

We found the place quite lovely and cozy. It has a beautiful spot on the lake next to the dam. Very private and peaceful. We also loved learning the history of the place and can't wait to see the area revitalized. The heated floor in the bathroom was a lovely touch. The well stocked kitchen made making meals real easy. Even with the rain we had a perfect weekend and can't wait to come back again. Jake and Eddie really know how to make a really inviting home that you don't want to leave.

Great place to stay. The only thing is it got cold at night and we couldn’t feel the heat even when we turn it up. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Heather’s place is very cozy and peaceful. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away, including a great kitchen that had all of the basics for cooking plus some! We also enjoyed relaxing in the living room with the fire and the view of the river. Seeing the swans float up and down the river every day was an unexpected highlight!

We needed a quick getaway to play in some snow and Tracee’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for. So much snow! There was sledding, snowshoeing, and cross country ski’ing within a ten minute drive. Restaurants and the cutest grocery market in town. We fell in love with the cabin and Grand Lakes! The river backdrop was just icing on the cake. We plan to come back both in winter and in the summer to play in the river and at the lake. Our fave airbnb to date! This was our second year spending a weekend at this little cabin and each year has been so warm and cozy and peaceful! Its been the perfect space for me and my friends to escape the city and enjoy a peaceful little weekend full of laughs, good food, stargazing, and many movies!

Paul and Robins Cabin was gorgeous! It was clean, very comfortable, and had everything that we needed in it. I was really impressed. The kids had a playground that was available to them, and our 9 yr old made friends with their kids and had a great time. There was plenty of wildlife and watching the birds from the deck was very relaxing. We were here for the Cranfest in Warrens, so we weren't able to do much on the water, but it was all there and available to us. We can't wait to go back and take advantage of everything.

This home was a great getaway for my family. The dock/bonfire area are perfect for hanging out and also for great for fishing. The home is perfect for a getaway. Laura was an amazing host and very helpful.

Had a great stay and it was exactly what the description and pictures said it was. Chris and Heather let us check in early also. Would stay there again and would recommend people to stay there also.

great location and great listing. There is tons to do even when you’re snowed in. We extra appreciated people coming to plow the driveway and shovel around the cabin. If you want something to do there is plenty to drive 30-45 minutes away. definitely check this place out! i can’t wait to come back in the summer
