Cabin holiday rentals in Modum Municipality

We stayed here in February 2025 for a week to celebrate my wife’s birthday with family. We was a family of 6 adults and a 3 year old. The house was more than big enough for all of us with plenty of room to have our own space. Donata and Lauras were really helpful in the lead up to our stay and whilst we was there, replying within an hour every time! The house was well equipped with everything we needed to make home cooked food. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the week with norefjell ski resort being a 5-10 minute drive away. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home for the week!

We had a very nice stay at this amazing cabin. Close to the slalom slope and access to a hot jacuzzi on the patio after a day on the slopes is great. Linda was very good as a host. responded quickly to questions and such.

We had the most wonderful break. The peacefulness of the home surrounded by heavy fallen snow is something we will remember for the rest of our days. It’s was truly wonderful

We had an amazing stay at Raymond and Ida’s beautiful cabin in Norefjell! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short distance from the ski resort, making it incredibly convenient for skiing and snowboarding. The cabin itself is cozy, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect winter getaway atmosphere. The fireplace was a lovely touch, keeping us warm after long days on the slopes. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. We did experience a minor water issue during our stay, but Raymond and Ida were incredibly helpful in resolving it and ensuring our comfort throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a perfect ski retreat in Norefjell, this is the place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

This was our second stay, and we loved it so much! Dennis is a great host, quick to respond, friendly and knowing that we are traveling with small kids he provided both the crib and a high chair, as well as offered help with getting an elderly gust up the hill to hytte. The place is stunning, clean, modern and gives you this cozy feeling the moment you walk in. The newly added semi-bathroom is a great solution and made the stay even more comfortable! We would love to come again, this is definitely our favorite place near Oslo for a long weekend.

We had a nice time in Ellen Marie's spacious and cozy cabin. The view from the terrace was fantastic!

Felt even more home than home, Nora’s house is a lovely place, were sunset meets music, peace and relaxation . Perfect space for a home office cut off.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin, in lovely weather. It was quiet and beautiful, and there were great amenities for our little family. Lovely places to swim and a forest that was good for walking. We would love to come back another time.

We had the pleasure of spending a few days in this idyllic forest cabin, it was an absolutely amazing experience! The cabin is in a great location in scenic surroundings. There was something incredibly charming by picking up water from the pond and cooking on gas burners.. If you want an authentic nature experience and a break from the hustle and bustle of modern life, this cabin is the perfect place. We will be back for sure! 🙏❤️

A warm and cosy cabin situated in a beautiful and tranquil location with wonderful views of the fjord. Very responsive hosts, well equipped kitchen.

This was our first vacation where we used airbnb and are impressed by the possibilities offered. The booked holiday home has already impressed the listing with its seclusion and its natural location. On site, the experience was even more outstanding. The possibility to reach the cabin on foot was only possible with appropriate boots due to the weather. However, the arrival and transport of luggage is no problem with the rowing boat, which is available. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is available in the charming cabin. In the end, we had way too much luggage with us. There is no boredom at the house and property. Whether you explore the lake by boat, fish, collect mushrooms or explore the nearby hiking trails. As day trips, we used hiking routes to the top of the highest mountains in southern Norway. Overall, we are 100% satisfied with the holiday. 👌🏻

We were a group of 5 adults and an 18-month old and the accommodation was perfect. Plenty of space and everything that was needed for the 18-month old was provided. Great location, within easy reach of Oslo. Lars and Malin were very fast to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay with a spectacular view on a lake 😍 House was preheated when we arrive, which was very sweet! The communication was extremely fast and Live is a great host, she was very kind and sweet! We faced no problems, place was super nice, quiet, warm, had a great fireplace, tons of wood and very clean. Shops and skiresort nearby, so we would highly recommend! ✨️

A beautiful location, the most amazing view and a very lovely house. We even did some fishing with the boat. Very comfortable house and lovely covered porch.

The cabin is not big, but everything necessary is available. The large covered terrace doubles the available space, we sat outside even in rainy weather and enjoyed the fantastic view of the Tyrifjord, in the evening by the fire in the fire bowl. Contact with Arild was always friendly, quick and helpful. We spent 14 beautiful vacation days here!

The host was very kind and always answered our questions. The location is very beautiful and peaceful.
