Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Monroe

My family and I enjoyed our stay! It was very nice and beautiful inside, everything looked just like the pictures. The host was very kind and very welcoming. We will be staying again in the near future! Thank you!

We had a great stay in Tom's home. the view from the back porch was beautiful, home was clean and decorated well. the master bedroom bed was comfortable, and we loved the linens so much I took a picture of the tags to find them for myself. we didn't use many amenities provided and didn't do any cooking since the home acted as only a place to shower and sleep during our visit, but it seemed to have what most would need. the only thing we were missing was ice, but we just bought a bag to put in the freezer for our stay. the separate heating/air unit for the upstairs is a plus, with the guests upstairs being able to control their own climate. the only downside we really saw is that the stairs could really use railings, as they were a bit sketchy going up and down. the home overall was clean and spacious, just what we needed for our stay.

Great place! Not directly in the water but just a short walk to the bayou at the back of the property! Great trees and serene surroundings. The cottage is very roomy, and Phil is great!

What an amazing place to get away! The name of the home speaks for itself. We felt at home from the driveway. You honestly can’t beat the beautiful peace this place gives. Becky was an amazing host and very responsive. With us visiting Monroe often… we will definitely be back.

Beautiful home that matched pictures/description. Very clean with all the amenities we needed. Nice, private back yard and a screened in patio. Home is located in a quiet area across from the river (can take an evening stroll along the river). Home is close to all things in West Monroe and Monroe. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed in several Air BnB houses, and this one is now at the top of our list as a FAVORITE. Anytime I needed information before getting there, Susan promptly replied and was very reassuring. We drove to this house without any concerns that we might have difficulties when we arrived. We didn't have any difficulty finding the place. And as we were getting out of our vehicle, the very kind neighbor next door greeted us with friendly conversation and told us to let her know if we needed anything. This was also very reassuring. and then-the place is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I loved the fact that it was apparently an older house that had been updated with modern appliances. We had no difficulties with anything there. I personally love windows. The back of the house which was far enough from other houses to maintain privacy was basically covered with windows so we could see the beautiful Bayou DeSiard right in our back yard. I would say more but ran out of allowed wrds

Quiet and cozy. Lake was really low so we couldn't fish but that didn't stop us from having a restful and peaceful weekend. All around great place to stay!

Brandon's cabin was great. He met us there shortly after we arrived to show us around and make sure our check in went smooth. The hot water is HOT and the beds were very comfortable. It was quiet and relaxing being so close to the river. We had a water pipe burst due to mother nature and he was quick to come and fix it for us. He even let us use the washing machine in his near by cabin while he was fixing the pipes (and that place is just as awesome. I would recommend either place) He was quick to respond to all our questions. The road going to the cabin is a dirt road and did have some deeper pot holes of water/mud to avoid due to recent rain. There were people traveling in and out in cars with no issues but just be aware if you have a low profile vehicle and it has rained there recently. But no fault of Brandon's at all, he can't control that. We will definitely stay again.

Zach was amazing, always answered any questions we had. It was perfect for what we needed, our kids absolutely loved it! It was very peaceful and quiet. Not a far drive from town. The cabins had more than everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable, had whatever we needed in the kitchens for cooking. We will definitely be back and stay longer!

Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, scenery. Plenty of wildlife. Even photographed a bald eagle hunting on the river. Plenty of room inside for 3 people. Could barely even notice the creaking and waves at night. Secluded, yet close to city life. We did have a run in with some wasps, Brandon came out and sprayed for us. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves so much we didn’t want to leave!!

My friends and I had been wanting to get away from town for a while and I had been wanting to go fishing, so this was the perfect spot! We spent all day fishing and after we got done, we hit up a nearby Mexican restaurant, Gonzalez, which was amazing! I liked the location of the airbnb, I felt safe and completely at home! I even caught a few fish off the dock! If you’re wanting to just unplug for a few days and reconnect with nature (but not be too far from civilization), this is the spot! Mrs. Kayla and her husband are super sweet and down to earth, they are more than happy to assist you!

A beautiful hidden gem less than an hour from Monroe, which is where we live. Very secluded, private and peaceful. Perfect fire pit outside that came stocked full of great fire wood. Gorgeous views of the water. Felt like we were secluded from the world all while being close to town and close to home.
