Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mount Melville

Susanne made us feel so welcome and the stay was incredible! The place was peaceful and the farm was incredibly clean and pristine. The home itself was cosy and friendly, and made us feel at home immediately. Susanne was flexible and responsive to messages and the little baked treats were an unexpected added bonus! Thank you for such a lovely stay - we will be back!

Fantastic place for an active couple - great feel, beautiful deck and view. The birds will pay a visit every morning and night...they are clearly used to being fed! Good support if required- we had a problem with hot water, and the local manager Kaz was very quick to respond and help us get it going again. Upside : location, views, kitchen well stocked, nice bed, overall look and feel. Even better if : Some basic toiletries would be nice. Downside : nothing specific for us, however my observation would be that if you have a problem getting up lots of stairs, this is not the place for you. Also, definitely only for 2 adults in my opinion...the mezzanine isn't a practical sleeping area for adults and the bathroom is small...way too small for 4 adults to share in my opinion. Maybe 2 older kids would think it was pretty cool. Overall we were really pleased we picked the Tree House, and would absolutely recommend it if heading to Denmark.

We had wonderful stay and every room was spacious and comfortable..

private grounds with beach and Inlet. almost feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. the house is within a large private compound, with a small lake, some wild animals and a few walking trail. you can walk about 2 km to a private beach view access. kitchen is large and there are 2 dining tables, separate living and tv area. we also has the chance to see the some kangaroos on the 600+ acre property. absolutely beautiful place. expect privacy and quiet solitude. great for large groups. the place is a little dated and old, but clean and well maintained. everything's in working condition and well equipped kitchen. about 25 to 30mins drive to Albany town centre.

Great location. Close enough to town but far enough out to feel like you're one with nature.

Lorraine & Frank & the Karma Chalets team were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The Chalet was extremely clean and had everything you need during your stay. My wife liked the little touches including bird seed for the bird feeder. Set in a quiet location among Karri trees, a nice location 14kms from Greens Pool & Elephants Rocks at Williams Bay. As host we are aware of the time and effort that is taken to enable guests to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay and appreciate all the work and effort that the Karma Chalet team undertaken. Home away from home is the best way to descried Fiona's accommodation. Felt bigger than I expected, and while the photos are lovely on the listing, I'd say the home exceeded my expectations. Fiona had provided so many thoughtful touches that aren't normally provided in an AirBnB, truly wonderful host! We would stay again, and have already recommended it to friends i know like to holiday in the area.

We were family of 8 pax travelling to Albany for short term trips. Booked a EBC, the room was super clean, accessible and spotless linens. We enjoyed everything about the room and felt at home. Indeed, the ideal location was proximity to all the nearby Albany watch out list. I recommend this place for your enjoyable stay, and of course treat this home as yours, tidy up and make less mess.

We absolutely loved our stay. The kids had so much to do outside. We loved breakie in the sunshine on the deck overlooking the trees and valley below, and were greeted often by blue wrens. It was a really spacious property that was private and secluded while only being a short drive to many of Denmark’s beaches, shops and attractions. We loved it.

Had a beautiful relaxing stay with family, we enjoyed wine and cheese while watching the sunset on the deck and spent each evening stargazing the spectacular sky. We really loved the cd collection and boardgames and were able to wind down and relax. The beds were super comfy and we also loved the quality linen and beautifuly decorated bedrooms and bathrooms. It was also really great to be able to enjoy a holiday with our furbabies, who enjoyed the long walks and soaking up the sun on the back deck. Such a quirky and homey place to stay, sitting in the comfy green velvet chairs with a book and a red wine is my idea of a perfect holiday. We loved our stay.

Throughly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and great location between Albany and Denmark allowing easy exploration of the area. Close to Cozy corner and Muttonbird beaches.

Melody's cottage in Emu Point was a absolute pleasure from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The place catered for all our needs. Absolutely spotless and all the appliances needed for a comfortable stay! The beds were perfect with crisp clean linen and shower pressure was spot on! The cottage seemed smaller on air bnb in the photos so we were happy to know it was bigger than we thought. Thanks Melody, will highly recommend your stay to all my friends!

We had a great stay here with our dogs. The house is very clean and has all the facilities that you need on a relaxed holiday. The back veranda is spacious and is a good, sheltered place to enjoy the views of the natural environment and wildlife. It is close to the Prawn Rock Channel which you can walk to very easily from the house, and to other beaches such as Ocean Beach and Lights Beach which are just a short car journey.

The Castle was perfect for our needs, very clean, comfortable beds, lovely decor, great bedside reading lamps and very peaceful. If you like to cook while you are away, the kitchen is very well stocked (cooking utensils) with all you need to cook up a storm and a very clean Webber on the patio. This property is very centrally located, within walking distance to Albany Plaza, fast food outlets and some restaurants. York Street is full of restaurants, local pubs which are a very short drive, about 4-5 mins. Many local attractions, one recently opened is Wild West Bowling, located on Chester Pass Road, just off the main roundabout as you enter Albany and is definitely worth checking out. Jill is a great host, very responsive and very accommodating. The little treats left for us was a very nice gesture and welcomed.

Gorgeous house in a lovely location . Loved sitting out on the deck overlooking the harbour . The house is beautifully decorated for the period of the property. We loved relaxing in the lounge in the evening. Very clever lock box .Extremely comfortable beds and quality linens and towels. We felt very at home and didn’t want to leave . Libby was a charming host. We’d love to stay again and will definitely be recommending to our WA friends.

We had an amazing stay at Sylvies. Everything you needed was there only sorry our stay wasn’t longer. Sylvie and her husband were very helpful and accommodating. A stay we won’t forget😊

We absolutely love this place. It’s wonderful to return here. It’s conveniently located near beaches and various activities. It’s only a 20-minute drive to Greens Pool, and you can reach Ocean Beach or Lights Beach in just 5 minutes. As for coffee, during the summer months, there’s a coffee van stationed at Lights Beach. Ben is an excellent barista, and the GF cherry ripe slice is spot on.

We had a most enjoyable stay at Keith and Georgie's place. It was clean and comfortable. We were surrounded by the trees with lots of birds and not far from paths and the water's edge. We could hear neighbours, but they were mostly hidden by the trees. Parking was easy, something we appreciated given the steep entries to other houses, and the town centre was a short drive away.
