What to say about our host Richard and his dead wood cottages... topissime!! everything is done for a pleasant stay in the countryside, with great culinary services offered by Richard. a beautiful very well exposed pool that overlooks the cottages. a "so britisch" euh non "scotisch":) we recommend this Airbnb 200% a big hug in Charly 😺

The accommodation is very nicely decorated, the bed linen impeccable, in the kitchen it is absolutely nothing missing! Everything is perfectly identified. Pool, spa, petanque court with balls, games for the pool, bathrobes for the spa, nothing is missing... Emilie and her husband are very nice, we had a lovely time.

We had a great time with Alexandra and Nicolas who know how to host in a very friendly way and share their passion for animals. The cottage is very clean and welcoming, in a quiet environment, conducive to rest and surrounded by animals, all more endearing than each other.

Thanks to Josette and Daniel who are very welcoming hosts. The accommodation is ideally located to get to Puy du Fou, the environment is peaceful in the countryside with a beautiful terrace to be able to enjoy the nice weather and parking is easy. They even thought about providing games for kids at their best. The place is big enough for five people, a good address.

We had a great time for our family gathering. the accommodation is welcoming summer and winter, it was very nice so we were in the square courtyard all the way. The house is full of surprises in terms of decoration and charm. A huge fireplace in one of the lounges is also perfect for winter evenings! and the children's game room is great, especially the great disguises and the board game wardrobe! everything was perfect, we'll be back. Well located place to access the Poitevin marsh, go to La Rochelle or go to the various surrounding parks (bird, animal or children's attraction). We had a lovely stay here. The location was beautiful and peaceful. We were kindly lent bikes to cycle to Puy de Fou and the pool was fantastic. Really lovely hosts who were always on hand to answer any questions and great communication prior to arrival. Highly recommend

Thank you both for hosting us, we had a great time during our 6 night stay.! The location is a rural retreat that is rich with nature. Our children (10 and 8) loved trying to catch the frogs around the lake, and the lizards that sunbathed on the paths. We saw toads, birds of prey, and dragonflies, and heard kingfishers and owls. The lake was magical, reminded me of the famous Redmire pool in the UK. Lots of carp showing on the surface. I had some memorable fishing sessions trying to outwit them! The pool was clean and safe with a shallow end. We all spent a lot of time in there on the hot days! Games room a fun edition, we enjoyed ping pong and darts. We didn't try golf but saw others playing. Accommodation was well equipped, especially the kitchen which even had a garlic press and full bbq utensils including wooden skewers. Shower nice and powerful. Everything spotlessly clean. We had a bbq most nights which was provided on the patio. We would recommend!

We were received very kindly. When we had a little uncertainty about the induction plate, she came right away to help us! We also had a window open that she closed for us after neat questions. We had an excellent time in Puy de Fou, this location is highly recommended with a large group! Edith thank you for your super service
